Arc 1:Volume 2: The road to Celsus part 1

The road to Celsus town was easier than expected, Emiko still wasn't trusting of me but kept me around for my Great Sage skill. Right now, we are resting on a tavern along the way sitting at a table and eating

"So, Daisuke. When we arrive to Celsus we need to find a way to make money"- Emiko's right hand was shuffling with a fork through the salad. We were sitting at the furthest table from the main group of people. I don't know if this is a good idea

"It's a bad idea, Daisuke. People will know you have something to hide if you stay this far"

"That's what I fear, Great Sage"

"I don't know. My plan was to be a merchant with you, and craft potions and whatnot. Then we will sell the potion"

"Might work, but we first need a trader license for this. How are we going to get one genius?"

"Kill monsters to get loot and sell it"

"How are you going to do it? At your current battle skills, you won't last long against the monsters around Celsus town"

"My knife can cut Orichalcum, I can kill them with ease"

"Even if you can take on one monster, they will group up. You are screwed, you can barely deal with 1 or 2, what about 6 or 20, that's how big monster groups get"- Emiko was finishing her salad. I barely touched my food. Time to eat, I guess

"You are right, I guess. Maybe I should take only on bigger, stronger monsters, or we should kill them together until we make enough for our trading pass"- I began to stuff myself with the salad before we leave

"Don't rush eating."

"So, Daisuke, if we arrive to Celsus we will need to find a place to live"

"Great Sage?"

"Yes, there might be a burned house on the Outskirts of the main town"

"Main town?"

"Yes, there are 2 town, the rich part is called the main town. The poor region is called The Outskirts"

"Well, maybe we can find something on The Outskirts?"

"Have you ever been to Celsus?"

"No"

"How do you know about it?"- Emiko finished eating. She put the fork in the plate that she ate

"Great Sage"

"It's strange. For the Great Sage ability to do that. Tell me the truth, how did you get this ability"

"Do you want to know?"

"Yes, of course. If I don't know that much about you, I can't trust you with anything, Daisuke"- She crossed her arms

"Well, do you know about other-worlders or people that came from other worlds?"

"I have heard a little about them. But nothing much, I never meet one person from another world before"

"Seems strange, you do know Senri and the 4 heroes?"

"Yeah, of course. Why is this relevant?"

"She is an other-worlder"

"What?"- Emiko put her hands on the table and leaned closer towards me

"Yes, all the 4 heroes in fact are other-worlders. I am an other-worlder as well"

"Kinda explains your clothing"

"What about my clothing?"

"It's weird. You have clothes that girls usually don't wear"

"Like?"

"Boys clothing"- Wait, did she look through my stuff?

"That's because I am male"

"What?"- Didn't Senri tell her?

"Yes. Sorry for the surprise"

"Just how? How is this possible"- She put her hand to the side of her head.

"I was born looking this way. That's it"

"I thought Daisuke was a fake name you had. I never thought it was going to be your real name"

"You get used to it"

"Anyway. We got a long way to go. We still have to walk a day or so. We almost ran out of money, we will need to hunt and cook our food"- Emiko got up from the chair and grabbed her bag

I did the same and exited the tavern
