Chapter 0:
Not Yours... But I love You
Prologue
The loud crow was more than excited, screaming the name of Fort. Yet things could only get hot when the man in his thirties showed up on the stage.
If one suspected how famous he was, that was the perfect moment to remove such doubts from their minds…
Fort Prakarn wasn't known only due to his wealthy family, owner of a hotel chain and a few resorts as well. The man was full of talents, which soon bloomed when he joined the entertainment world.
His singing career was going very well, and all the fans present in another successful concert of his was excellent proof of that.
So, when he started to sing the last song of the evening, it wasn’t a big surprise how sad everyone in the hall became, asking him for an encore out loud while putting a smile on Fort's face.
The man knew how much his fans loved him, yet a recent fight with his father left a big doubt in Prakarn’s mind… And sadly, there wasn’t anyone with whom he could share it at the moment.
“And well… Since everyone was so nice and welcome to our sponsors for today, they allowed me to sing one more song, so let me see if you guys can remember this one.”
As if everyone in there wasn’t already aware that the concert’s big sponsor was his sister brand, the singer mentioned after saying all the brands’ names gratefully while joking around with his fans.
He asked them if they had bought the new products he was promoting and, even who had already tested them, making sure to say how it must be why everyone looked even more beautiful today… Words that could sound like a lie but which Prakarn truly meant.
And after a couple of days, the magic was still there as they gave a more than happy smile on one of his fan’s face while she watched the videos she had recorded before her mother made her stop what she was doing to wake up her young brother…
Who was later once again.
“Phraphai, this is the last time I will call you nicely. If maè makes me come here again, I will show her what you hide behind your posters.”
Although it wasn’t very nice of her to threaten her brother with that, the woman was more than annoyed that she hadn’t finished editing the videos and pictures to share with her friends and followers yet due to her job.
“You can’t do that, sister!”
Besides, she also knew it would wake Phraphai right away, being it her favorite trick since she found out about his posters’ secret when she was in college.
“Get up then, or I will.” Treating him once more, she said before Fort’s voice took her attention to her phone, which she soon picked up while saying one last thing to her brother before leaving his room… “Mom said you have an interview today, so I would hurry up if I was you since it’s almost ten.”
That definitely made the poor Phraphai jump off his bed right away as he was reminded of his work interview and how his parents would kill him if he missed it again because he arrived later.
It wouldn't be the first or second time that it happened to him, but as he hushed through the streets of Bangkok, who would imagine, it would be his fault this time as the traffic was just too bad that morning.
Of course, his mother had already told him more than once to wake up earlier to avoid this kind of situation the last couple of days…
But back to the annoyed young man, he could only put on his earphone, trying to forget about another failed interview with music while leaving the hotel without realizing how his path crossed with his sister's favorite singer.
And since that moment, Fate was already pulling some strings, ensuring it wouldn't be the only occasion where Prakarn and Phraprai would run into each other... After all, things shouldn't end just like that.
