Chapter 1:

The Perfect Person

Not Yours... But I love You

Chapter 1

“Yo? Wayo?! This boy’s name could be Payu or anything else instead! But I confirm to you, sir. I can no longer take care of your grandchild!”

Anger poured down from the words of Wayo's most recent babysitter, whom he had managed to strip out the last trace of patience remaining in her with success.

She was a person very calm and tranquil, to the point his grandfather had sworn she would last longer than the others because of that.

Yet it clearly proved to be wrong as he looked at the mischievous little boy who hid behind his door when their eyes met.

The little one knew that what he had done was wrong, and as much as the older man didn't like the woman saying that his grandson was destructive like a storm, he was sure that Yo had given her plenty of reasons to say so.

“Sir... If you don’t mind, I may know someone perfect to take care of young master Wayo.”

However, sometimes the most unfortunate situations for someone can turn out to be good for others.

And it was what the family steward thought when he remembered how his childhood friend had asked him for help in order to find a job for his youngest child.

The man distinctly remembered Phraphai, and how smart he had always been from a young age, more than capable of helping a child with his homework while also taking care of him.

Another positive thing was his age. Phai was considerably young compared to all the other nannies that his boss had hired to take care of the young master Wayo, and well...

Good stamina was something anyone would need while dealing with him, especially when the boy decided to run away through the gardens and long hallways of the mansion when he didn't want to study, making it hard for even his father to catch him.

Therefore, it was easy to imagine that anyone younger would be much better than a woman in her late thirties or older, like Wayo's last nanny. And it was how a couple of days later, Phraphai found himself in front of the big mansion, wearing a suit that he never imagined he would wear in his life.

“... Uncle told me it was an interview to work as his assistant, but he never told me they were THIS RICH!”

Amazed, that was all Phraphai could think of in front of the closed gates, understanding now why he had been told to wear that kind of outfit...

Working as an assistant for that family should be very different from anything he had imagined all the way there.

Phai didn't even realize that he was actually doing an interview to take care of Wayo. His parents had asked his uncle not to tell him anything about the actual job, stopping the young man from deliberately missing this chance on purpose this time.

After all, who would want to take care of a six-year-old after graduating from college when it had nothing to do with their degree?

By no means it was the ideal job Phraphai or his parents dreamed for him.

However, they hoped it would help him learn how to handle the responsibilities that adult life would bring to him.

They both felt they might have spoiled Phai a little too much as he was their youngest, the baby of the family.

So they more than wished he could learn his lesson while working as Wayo's babysitter... And taking a deep breath without knowing much about what was really waiting for him, he was about to ring the bell...

HONK! HONK!

...But before his finger could even touch it, the loud sound of a car horn startled him when the vehicle stopped behind him before he heard the loud sound once more, almost as if it was ordering him to get out of the way.

"Are you going to keep standing there? Or will I need to run over you to get you out of my way?"

The voice of the tall man who got out of the car was obviously angry, yet Phraphai couldn't help but think he recognized it from somewhere, even if he was unsure since he couldn't see the man's face as it was hidden behind his sunglasses.

Kho-thot krap!” And with a simple apology, he stepped aside, giving the car all the space it needed to pass when he was left standing there, watching the gate close before him while Phai wondered what kind of family his uncle worked for.
