The young man stared at Lan Du with distrust and unfamiliarity, he didn't completely trust her as she was far above his level. He had a wary gaze as he stared at her.

Lan Du chuckled

"Little Yuan Cai, no need to be so on guard on me, or I might take it as an initiative to a fight" Lan Du said sweetly as she placed a hand on his shoulder.

Yuan Cai glared at him, still with uncertainty

Lan Du sighed and turned her head

"If you're walking the same path as your father, we will meet at the main army training island, if you're there, don't disappoint me" Lan Du chuckled and left.

Yuan Cai stared at her leaving figure, he didn't move for a while before he took out his phone. He hesitated before sending a message. The phone then vibrated and immediately, a reply came in.

Yuan Cai stared at it

[Did you meet him? Could you two be in the same city? That's good, you can stick with him for a bit, his skills are on par with many veterans in my army, you can learn quite a bit with him]

Yuan Cai trembled

'I'm useless, father has never had such a high opinion on me as he has on that boy...I need to prove to him that I am worthy to be his son'

He gritted his teeth as he walked out the bathroom and ran after Lan Du, when he caught up, Lan Du was about to enter her room where Xie Jing and Xie Ying were waiting. Lan Du stopped and stared at him.

"Did Yuan Min tell you to follow me? He probably wants you to follow me around so I can teach you about combat, right?" Lan Du said slowly

Yuan Cai was stunned but he nodded his head

Lan Du snickered, she hid her disdain and smiled gently

"Then, don't expect me to go easy on you, even when you're gasping for air, all you can do is keep up, or your suffering will only get worse" Lan Du's eyes were filled with mockery and a trace of sadism.

Yuan Cai shuddered but nodded his head without hesitation

"Heh, well, then let's see how long you can last" Lan Du smirked beneath her mask and entered the room, Yuan Cai didn't know if he should follow or not until Lan Du gestured for him to enter.

Yuan Cai took in a deep gulp and entered the room, inside, he saw two young ladies, both fair and beautiful, if not for their different hair and eye colour, he wouldn't be able to tell who was who. He was dazed for a moment before Lan Du smack him across the the back of his head.

"Keep looking and I'll dig out your eyes, I only promised your father to train you, not to flirt with my people" She said in a cold manner.

Yuan Cai retracted his gaze but he was still thinking about the two girls. Lan Du sighed and sat down, she emitted an arrogant aura as if she everything was below her.

"Today is already quite late, I will spar with you tomorrow, but don't expect me to hold back, pain is a great learning experience for humans"

Lan Du chuckled and removed her mask, she was now wearing her skin maks below so she didn't worry too much about the mask anymore. She then started to eat.

"Who might this be?" Xie Jing asked

Lan Du glanced at Yuan Cai

"He is the son of Yuan Min, his father wanted me to train him, if I'm right, he is too soft hearted, so I'll be showing him how it feels to kill" Lan Du said slowly.

Yuan Cai was a bit nervous, his eyes shifted between the three of them.

"I still don't have your names" He said

Lan Du nodded her head

"You just need to know my nickname, Xiao Mo, but for these two lasses, have any ideas and I'll strip you and throw you outside" Lan Du said it calmly and didn't express any emotion. She lifted a cup and drank, her expression became a bit odd but she kept eating.

Yuan Cai shuddered

After they finished, Lan Du flung her arms over the twin's shoulders, her face was red and seemed a bit drowsy.

"*Sigh*, we keep telling him he can't tolerate alcohol, yet he keeps drinking to prove he can..." The twins muttered as they sighed.

Yuan Cai was speechless, he shook his head and giggled, he actually found this fact to be interesting and his impression on Lan Du wasn't as scary anymore. In fact, he found her to be quite adorable with that stubbornness.

The twins glanced at him

"Don't make that expression ever in front of him, the last person who made fun of his low alcohol tolerance was hanged on a building upside down for three days straight, anyone who tried to help him would also get hanged up"

They warned, their voices were sweet and when they spoke in unison, it gave them a sense of uniqueness.

Yuan Cai nodded, his eyes laid on the twins

"May I get your names?" He asked

The twins turned to Lan Du who was half asleep and back at him

"We cannot" They then carried Lan Du back

Yuan Cai sighed and felt disappointed, he then followed along and met up with a large group of students. He was surprised to see that the mature looking Lan Du was actually a student here. He could see that most of the students weren't even close to Lan Du's level.

"Did he get drunk in just an hour of not seeing him?" Instructor Lu was baffled when he saw Lan Du hanging on the twin's shoulders with a red face.

Lan Du opened her eyes and looked up

"Instructor Lu, what are you talking about, I'm fine" Ln Du hiccuped and stared at him with her hazy eyes, she stood up properly and walked away.

"I'm going to cool my head off a bit, *hiccup*, don't bother following, after all...the front seats are a splash zone" Lan Du laughed as she walked off.

She walked off into the dark night, her figure disappeared. Yuan Cai gritted his teeth and ran after her, he didn't know why, but he felt like he should. But he soon found out he couldn't even find a trace of her, as if she was never there to begin with.

He then heard a laughter in a nearby alley, he slowly approached and the scene before him shocked him.

He has found Lan Du, but she was now seated upon a pile of bodies, the stench of blood filled the air and sent fear down his heart.

Lan Du held her phone to her ear

"Don't worry, I've got it handled, hm? There's more? Alright, I'm on it" Lan Du said silently, she then closed her phone and placed it in her pocket.

When she turned around, she saw Yuan Cai standing there with fear in his eyes.

"You saw it all?" She walked closer and said slowly

Yuan Cai shuddered

"I-I won't t-tell anyone" He trembled and said

Lan Du walked closer and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"I know...pfft, look at the face you're making, it's killing me, just how scared did you get? Hahahaha, those back there were assassins after a friend of mine, he asked me to help clear em out" Lan Du started laughing as she held her stomach.

"You weren't drunk?" He asked

"Pfft, even if I was, I can easily remove the alcoholic substances from my body" Lan Du chuckled

She used one hand and lowered his chin with two fingers so he was looking her dead in the eye.

"But one word out and not even your father will be able to find your corpse" She said with a devilish smile, her eyes were filled with vigor and it sent a chill down his spine.

But despite this, his heart started to pound faster and his face became slightly red. Under the moonlight, Lan Du patted his face and said again.

"Since you're already here, then I can just begin your test early" She turned her head and walked towards the end of the alley.

Yuan Cai followed closely behind her, she then thrusted her hand through the brick wall, as if it was tofu, she punctured it with ease.

"Step one of your training" Lan Du then pulled her arm back, and shockingly, she pulled a man through the brick wall.

"Kill him, he's been eavesdropping on us for a while now" Lan Du smirked and slammed him to the ground.

"urg"

The man coughed, Lan Du glanced at Yuan Cai

"Kill him" She said

Yuan Cai hesitated, but he lifted his fist and brought it down on the man whose eyes were wide open in shock, he didn't know how he was discovered, yet before he even knew it, he was caught and couldn't do a thing.

When Yuan Ca's fist came into contact with his ribs, a loud crack was heard and the man's face paled. His head then dropped back and no sign of life remained.

Lan Du nodded

"Not bad, you have the strength, but you don't have the decisiveness" Lan Du then smacked the back of his head

"Stop dozing off, you merely killed a spy, this will become a common occurrence" Lan Du then picked up her phone and dialled a number.

"I got the last one handled, send me my paycheck when you have the time, also, did the two spirit dew I auctioned sell yet?" Lan Du spoke

[No problem, you're as efficient as always, the organisation is quite lucky to have you, as for your spirit dew, they have sold for 50 million each]

"Oh? Not bad, send it over along with my paycheck, I'll check out the exchange market later]

Lan Du then hung up and turned to Yuan Cai who was staring at her, she placed a finger on her lips and said with a sweet smile.

"Lad, I'll be expecting you to keep a tight lip, even your father is not allowed to know what happened today, or I might need to punish you"

Yuan Cai felt his heart race, he didn't know why but he found Lan Du to be very pretty despite being a boy.

"A-Alright" He replied, still a bit flustered

Lan Du giggled

'My dear brother, I'll show you what true hell is tomorrow, even if you beg me, I won't stop' Lan Du thought to herself, beneath her sweet smile was a cruel and sadistic mindset.

Her eyes then had a cold glint as she grabbed Yuan Cai by the collar and tossed him out the alley, Yuan Cai was shocked, he wondered why she did such a thing. But suddenly, the ground shook s an explosion went of in the alley.

"X-Xiao Mo!" He was bewildered, he didn't even notice there was something so dangerous!

He then saw an injured figure walk out, limping with blood on the side of her arm. Lan Du's body was covered in wounds and some of her clothes were torn. Yuan Cai ran over o support her, but Lan Du shook off his hand.

"Enough, they're just external injuries, nothing serious" Lan Du said coldly, she took out a handgun and aimed it in a certain direction.

She then shot, there was a silencer os it made almost no noise, but what followed was as clear as day.

"AH!"

Lan Du smirked as she slowly limped over to the source of the noise, behind some shrubs and bushes, a man laid there with blood oozing out his stomach.

Lan Du kicked him.

"Not a bad grenade, you had that man carry it, didn't you? When you saw that plan A failed, you decided to blow the two of us up, but you didn't expect me to survive, did you?" Lan Du ruthlessly kicked his stomach which caused more blood to blled out.

"Ng" He struggled and wanted to run, but the pain was too unbearable

Lan Du stepped on his wound and pressed her feet down.

"Grenades are pretty good for killing low level members, but you met someone a sinple grenade can't kill" Lan Du smirked and raised the handgun in her hand.

"When you meet your friends in the underworld, tell them, you'll be meeting more of your friends in the future" Lan Du then shot his head and turned to Yuan Cai who was behind her.

Lan Du's face had blood over it, yet under the bright moonlight, her jade green eyes shone more than ever.

"Yuan Cai, tell me, did you see anythingg today?" Lan Du asked slowly

Yuan Cai shook his head

"I didn't" He replied

Lan Du giggled and patted his face

"Good boy" She then took out a small canster and drank the content inside. Her blood stopped dripping and her wounds started to heal up at a visible rate.

Her clothes were torn and parts of her skin were revealed. Yuan Cai took a big gulp when he saw the smooth jade like skin beneath the clothes. Lan Du realised his gaze and flicked his forehead.

"Where are you looking? I'm straight" Lan Du said nonchelantly

Yuan Cai laughed awkwardly as he diverted his gaze aside.

"A-Aplogies" He muttered

Lan Du suddenly began laughing, she gave him a smile as she walked to his side.

"Ill be going now, when you see the twins, tell them I met an old friend and will be staying at his place, say anything about my injuries and I'll end you" Lan Du said in. sweet manner, but the coldness of the words were not hidden.

She then disappeared into the night once again, Yuan Cai was still in a slight daze as he stared at the corpse on the ground.

"Seems like father will be disappointed again...to think I'd start having reactions towards a guy" He muttered to himself, his face then became red at the thought of Lan Du's devilish smile in the alley.

'I-I'm a normal person, I can't think like that' he thought to himself desperately, trying to deny his bodily reaction towards Lan Du.

Lan Du was now at an empty road, a car stopped in front of her and she got on.

"Damn, what happened to you? Don't tell me, you missed one and ended up getting ambushed?" The driver snickered

Lan Du reached out her arm and wrapped it around his neck as she began strangling him.

"Oh? Xiao Bai, it seems that you're in a good mood today? Let's fix that" Lan Du choked harder and Xiao Bai began gurgling.

"I concede!" He shouted

Lan Du chuckled and sat back

"You're not wrong, I messed up this time, I didn't expect that man to be a suicide bomber" Lan Du sighed and said

"Oh? That doesn't sound like you, you're actually admitting your mistake?" Xiao Bai raised his brows and said in astonishment.

Lan Du smacked the back of his seat

"What do you mean? I always admit my mistake" Lan Du said as if she was wronged

"What?! That's a plain lie! How about the time you broke boss' hand for mere pleasure! You even refused to admit it and fought the discipline group till they gave up trying to touch you" Xiao Bai shouted

Lan Du stuck out her tongue

"Not my fault, he was threating me by deducting my pay, just because I scared the employer, didn't I still protect him quite well in the end? He didn't get injured by the assassins" Lan Du said

"No, but he had a leg broken by you!" Xiao Bai retorted

Lan Du rolled her eyes

"Not my fault, he saw me torture to assassins so he tried to run, doesn't he know that running around can get him killed? Breaking his leg was to protect him from danger" Lan Du repliec asually

Xiao Bais hands trembled

"I think the biggest danger is you" He muttered

"Oh? Did I hear something?" Lan Du smiled and stared at him

"N-Nothing!" Wimpered Xiao Bai.

"Then get a move on, drive me back to the branch base 411, I'll be submitting my report and also have them prepare a new set of clothes for me" Lan Du leaned back and said.

Xiao Bai nodded and began driving

Lan Du glanced out the window

"Xiao Bai, do I look too effeminate? Now days, I think I sense gazes from both guys and girls" Lan Du muttered

Her words surprised Xiao Bai, but he nodded slowly

"You are indeed too pretty for a boy, even my sister says she's jealous of your looks, and...a few of my friends says they sometimes imagine what you'd look like if you were...a girl" He said, the more he said, the quieter he got

He then heard a light chuckled

"Interesting...send me a list of names later, every one of the brats who were wondering that, since they like imagining what I'd look as a girl, I'll give them a few dresses, let's see how your firends would look like when I have them wear it in front of the juniors" Lan Du smirked coldly

Her words made Xiao Bai shrink back as he huddled up and wanted to get out the car immediately

"Y-Yes sir" He said quietly

"Your injuries?" He then looked through the mirror at the front and asked

"I got it treated already, it's just my clothes that are torn" Lan Du said lightly, she didn't even feel embarrassed that some of her skin is revealed.

"You're really live up to your name of crazed fiend of the Underworld, the Underworld is quite lucky to have you on our side, or it'll be us that is suffering" He sighed and said as he sighed

Lan Du smirked

"Crazed fiend? DId it change again? Didn't it used to be the mad dog?"

"Ever since you picked a fight with some higher ups and ended up winning despite them being in domain realm, everyone decided that mad dog was too much of an understatement" Xiao Bai replied

Lan Du laughed

"Funny, then I should pcik fights with higher ups more often, as long as no high stage or above domain realm managers show up, it shouldn't be a problem"

'Crazy, he's defintely crazy' Xiao Bai thought to himself
