Qui Feng

Lan Du's words made the young man especially agitated, he glared at her with cold eyes. His hands were slightly clenched and his brown eyes leaked a trace of killing intent.

However, Lan Du merely glanced at him and snickered

"You two seem like you're having a lot of fun so I won't disturb you, but remember to invite me to the wedding, I won't like missing out on big events" Lan Du chuckled and waved her hand.

"Wait!" The young man called out

Lan Du paused

"Is there a problem?" Lan Du tilted her head and asked

"No, but I want to spar with you, I want to know how someone with a thin ass body like yours can talk so big"He growled and said.

Lan Du rubbed her chin and a smile rose to her face

"I'd rather not, I'm too tired today, some idiot who asked me to train him ended up almost drowning and I'm too mentally drained to deal with anything right now" Lan Du shook her head and said.

The young man tensed up

"I'm Qui Feng, you better remember my name" He said

Lan Du thought for a moment

"Is Qui Shan your brother?" Lan Du asked

Qui Feng frowned lightly

"You know my brother? Makes sense, weaklings standing together is quite normal" He muttered

Hong Ling froze up when she heard him, she slowly turned to Lan Du with a fearful gaze, and her prediction was correct. Lan Du was infuriated, she didn't show it on the surface, she still had a smile, but her aura was completely different.

"L-Lan Du, we'll be going now" She grabbed Qui Feng's arm and tried to pull him away

"Why so soon? Didn't you want to spar with me? I changed my mind, I'm going to show Hong Ling how to make meat balls today" Lan Du cracked her knuckles and said with a twisted smile.

Qui Feng smiled

"Oh, you dare fight me, with your petite body?" He mocked

Lan Du's height wasn't short, but compared to well-trained teens like Qui Feng, she was considered quite small.

Lan Du placed her hand on her bracelets and slowly removed them.

The moment one of them dropped, a crack appeared in the ground, then, three similar sounds followed.

Lan Du moved her wrist and heels as she smirked coldly.

"I didn't want to take them off, but I'm too lazy to extend this beating"

Qui Feng froze, he stared at the bracelets on the ground and saw some numbers written on it.

[200 kg]

Sweat began rolling down the side of his face, he stared at Lan Du who was now walking closer and closer towards him. Her gaze was terrifying, as if she would eat him whole.

"W-Wait" Qui Feng wanted to say something but Lan Du grabbed his face while covering his mouth with a single hand.

Lan Du smiled at Hong Ling then back at Qui Feng

"Your brother spent the last 6 years trying to compete with me, now, let's see how much beating his brother can take" Lan Du's smile was twisted and sadistic, she slammed his head into the concrete wall with a single hand.

"Pwa" Qui Feng coughed, and Hong Ling quickly ran up and grabbed Lan Du's arm.

"This is enough, Lan Du, stop hitting him"

Lan Du sighed and released her grip

"Hong Ling, sometimes you're a mood killer, also, I was lying about deleting the photos, I don't have any hacking abilities, I just deleted them like normal, but do keep them private, I have my pride to uphold" Lan Du said quietly.

Qui Feng's head was dizzy, he stared at Lan Du in fear

"Those weights, h-how heavy are all of them" He asked

If only one of them was 200 kg, then he could still keep calm, but if all of them were 200 kg...

Lan Du held them and wore them one by one. She glanced at Hong Ling and Qui Feng.

"I guess I have to call you my brother-in-law now,  when you see Qui Shan, tell him that if he doesn't complete his training this week, I'll find him myself and give him some...personal training" Lan Du smiled and said.

Qui Feng was sweating beads, but his eyes had traces of admiration

"I lost completely, Ling'er, when did you get to know such a strong person? I'm afraid that even my father won't have much of a chance against him" He asked curiously

Hong Ling giggled

"My roommates are his sweeties, I knew him through them, he isn't a bad person, he actually is very fond of jokes, but after knowing him for so long, I listed three things you never do in front of him" She replied warily

Qui Feng lifted his brows

"What is it?" He asked

"One, never touch or hurt the people he is close to, Two, never talk about his body size, and Three, never, and I say never, show weakness in front of him" She said with a complicated gaze.

Qui Feng was intrigued

"What's with the third one?" He questioned, the first two sounded logical, but the last one was a bit confusing. What did she mean to never show weaknesses?

"He...is a sadist, the worst type of sadist where your crying soul is music to his ears, if you show weakness in front of him, he'll torment you to the point of wanting to die, though that's only for his enemies"

"To his friends or acquaintances, he won't be as harsh, but breaking a bone or two is still possible, he is titled Devil of the arena within the virtual world due to his violent fighting styles, many students were traumatised when fighting him" She turned to Qui Feng

"Today, you violated his first principle, you made fun of his petite body, though he is shorter and slimmer than most men his age, his grip right now can squeeze steel like sponges" Hong Ling said slowly, she held his arm and tugged him lightly.

Qui Feng nodded

"He's...a sadist, no wonder his smile seemed so twisted" He mumbled, thinking back on Lan Du's smile now made him slightly fearful and scared.

Lan Du had left a deep impression on him, he slowly dialled a number on his phone.

[What do you want, here to mock me again?] A sarcastic voice rang out from the other end of the phone

Qui Feng bit the bottom of his lips

"No, I want to ask your relationship with the kid Lan Du" He asked

[Cheh, after calling me a waste for so long, you now want to ask about my personal life? What a great brother you are]The voice was filled with sarcasm.

"Qui Shan, answer my damn question" Qui Feng said coldly

[Go ask him yourself, don't expect anything from me] Qui Shan roared and hung up the phone

Qui Feng stood there silently, his hands clenched

Hong Ling had a concerned expression on her face as she held his arm.

"Why can't you just be more true to your emotions? Can't you just tell him you just wanted to treat him coldly for his wellbeing? If not, then the main family would-"

"Enough, he's my brother... I should take responsibility, but if he is good friends with Lan Du, I will be at ease..." He muttered and placed the phone in his pocket.

"Why not? He deserves to know this" She heightened her voice and almost shouted

Qui Feng glared at her

"The main family is cruel, they killed my mother because she made a single mistake, yet my father is always scot-free even if he fools around, if he knows of his existence, they will kill him for being my mother's child, the only reason I'm alive is because they thought their slave mark worked, unknowing to them is that my mother's spiritual strength was high enough to protect me one time" His eyes were grim as he held her wrist and said.

Suddenly, a hand was placed on his shoulders from behind and when he turned his head, he saw Lan Du who wore a bored expression on her face. She reached out her hand and grabbed his collar, then reached beneath and pulled out a small object that was smaller than a coin.

It was white so it was almost invisible and was almost completely flat.

"Kid, if I have any suggestion to you now, if call Qui Shan and come with me, your entire conversation is already recorded by this device and sent to your main family, you're a slave to them, how can they not keep tracking devices on you" Lan Du yawned and crushed the object.

Qui Feng's face became ghastly pale

"We were heard!" He quickly dialled Qui Shan's number and his heart raced

[What do you want now, have you bothered me enough!]

Lan Du didn't wait for Qui Feng to speak, she grabbed the phone and spoke nonchalantly.

"Little twerp, I'll give you five minutes, meet me outside my sister's house or I'll break your legs the next time I see you" Lan Du said coldly

[Eh, brother Lan? Alright, I'm coming] The call was ended and Lan Du tossed the phone back at Qui Feng

Qui Feng was baffled, he never knew Lan Du had such great inflence over his brother. He has never seen his brother be so obedient either! Lan Du then began talking.

"The Qui family, not the strongest, but they have the backing of three different groups, one is Shuang Yu corporation, that one I can deal with for you, second is the Ouyang family, a bothersome one but again, I can deal with them without a hitch, lastly is the most troublesome one, the Black Market, they have influence in every country and planet, though they aren't the strongest of all the hidden organisations, their influence alone is enough to cause major families to go bankrupt"

Lan Du turned to Qui Feng

"But they shouldn't be involved unless they are paid to kill you and your brother, the Black Market doesn't operate freely and has many conditions, but once they begin a mission, even if you have strong backing, they can kill you" Lan Du held out her phone and dialled a number in.

"Xiao Bai, come over to me, I need you to pick up some brats who overestimated themselves" Lan Du sighed and shook her head.

Qui Feng was sweating

"What do we do, I know of the family's backing, not even China's major families can save us" He trembled and said

Lan Du raised her fist and smashed it down on his head

"Shut up, I told you, unless the Black Market personally makes a move, no one can touch you" Lan Du said casually

Qui Feng looked up at Lan Du

"What do you mean? Do you know how terrifying the Shuang Yu corporation and the Ouyang family is? They have connections to three planets each!" He exclaimed

Lan Du smacked his face

"Oh just shut your mouth for one second"

Hong Ling by the side couldn't register what has just happened, she was more than just confused. Then, Qui Shan's voice was heard as he ran over whilst panting. His breath was heavy as he stopped in front of Lan Du.

"I-Am I late?" He asked

Lan Du checked her watch

"You barely made it in time" Lan Du replied

She then reached out her hand and placed it on his face. She scuffled around and her hand soon reached behind his collar and even down his shirt.

Qui Shan was shocked, he tried to back away but recieved the cold glare from Lan Du. She then pressed him to the wall and continued searching. Qui Shan's face became beat red as Lan Du leaned in closer, her long eyelashes blinked slowly and her jade like face caused his heart to beta faster.

Lan Du soon retracted her hand

"It seems I was too late, your family discovered Qui Shan before today, now that they know you're not under the effects of the slave seal either, they will most likely make their moves today.

In her hand was an identical object she got from Qui Feng, she crushed it and turned to Qui Shan who was still blushing.

"What the hell are you blushing for?" Lan Du gave him a kick in the stomach, it wasn't heavy but it was enough to make him cough.

Only now did Qui Shan snap out as he looked around.

"Why is he here?" He saw Qui Feng and asked

"I-" Qui Feng was about to speak when a car stopped right next to them. Lan Du glanced at it and opened the car doors.

"You three, get in, once you do, wear the hat and wig given inside, you can speak all you want once you enter the car" Lan Du shoved Qui Feng and Qui Shan inside while inviting Hong Ling in gently.

"Lan Du, this treatment difference is too great!" Qui Shan complained

"Oh? Should I toss you inside instead then?" Lan Du lifted her brows and asked

Qui Shan shook his head and immediately shut his mouth.

"Good" Lan Du then sat down in the front seat, she glanced at the driver

"Are you better now? Or is it still too much" She asked

Xiao Bai shook his head

"I-I will get over it, sister Bei wouldn''t want me to be said either" He said bravely, his eyes filled with determination and roaring to move on in life.

Lan Du smiled and leaned back

"Qui Shan, you must be wondering why I called you here, right?" Lan Du turned her head back and asked

Qui Shan nodded his head

"This is a very grave matter, so for that fact...

"Have your brother explain, I'm not bothered" Lan Du turned her head back and laid back lazily

"...."

Not knowing how he should respond to her, Qui Shan turned his head to Qui Feng, his expression was still a bit repulsed and hesitant.

"Qui Feng, explain" His eyes were grim and serious

Qui Feng opened his mouth but no words came out, he didn't know what he could say. He has always been so distant to Qui Shan, but he cared deeply for him.

"This-"

Hong Ling got sick of his stuttering, she pushed his face to the side and stared at Qui Shan.

"Your brother wants to say he is sorry for treating you like a fool all this time, but he did so to protect you" She said without letting Qui Feng explain.

Qui Shan was bewildered

"Protect me? He has treated me like nothing but waste this whole time!" Qui Shan shouted

Hong Ling wanted to continue but Qui Feng grabbed her hand

"Enough, I'll explain from here" His eyes were fixed on Qui Shan as he bowed his head down.

"I aplogise for all I have said, but I did it for your own good...the main family has always been trying to track down anything related to mother, I needed to hide your existence from them, but if you become overly friendly with me, they'd notice our relationship" Qui Feng said with his eyes down.

He didn't look Qui Shan in the eyes but he could feel Qui Shan trembling.

"What sort of excuse is that! Do you think I'd forget everything you have done to me!" Qui Shan roared, at that moment, Lan Du's dagger already flew back and landed beside Qui Shan's head.

"Noisy, I don't care if you brats want to discuss your relationship, but be quiet, I hate loud noises when I'm traveling" Lan Du grumbled.

Xiao Bai glanced at her

"But you always drive like a maniac, how are they louder than you when you drive?" He asked curiously

Lan Du's lips twitched as she pointed her gun at Xiao Bai's head.

"Xiao Bai, it seems that you're back to normal, even have time to contradict me" Lan Du smiled, but that smile was filled with malice.

Xiao Bai tensed up

"No sir, I wouldn't dare" He turned his head back to the front and didn't dare look Lan Du in the eyes. Lan Du chuckled and reached her hand to the back.

"Pass me my dagger back, careful not to touch the blade though, I smeared it with highly corrosive toxins and paralysis poison" Lan Du said

Only now did Qui Shan and the rest realise that the area the dagger pierced was turning black and the dagger was slowly cutting down the seat.

"EEP!" Qui Shan was shocked, he quicly grabbed the dagger handle and passed it to Lan Du. He shuffled to teh edge of the car, trying to avoid the poison that lingered on the seats.

Lan Du then yawned

"Qui Shan, your brother means good will to you, you shouldn't outcast him for what he has done, though if it was me, I'd extract revenge as I pretend I didn't hear anything he said, then pretend to be sorry and say that I didn't hear his excuses" Lan Du smiled lightly and said.

Her words made he three in the back shudder

"Get used to it, when you're with this demon, these types of words are common" Xiao Bai who remained quiet spoke up and said.

Qui Shan glanced at Qui Feng who had his head down, his eyes were bitter as his fingers were fumbling around.

He wantedto say something to Qui Feng, but he couldn't think of anything, all he could do was remain quiet and the mood became awkward.

"Xiao Bai, take us to branch 114, we'll have the branch establish new identities for them, Hong ling can stay as she is now, but you two might need to change your surnames and appearance, don't worry, I'll foot this bill for forging new identities, branch 114 is known for this" Lan Du smiled and turned her head

The two brothers didn't know what they should say

"W-Will we need to move to different places?" Qui Feng asked

Lan Du laughed

"You watch too much drama, why would you need to move? The dramas only did this to make things more dramatic, changing your identities will be enough, unless the Black Market use their main connection to find you two" Lan Du replied

"But with this, you two owe me a favour" Lan Du placed a finger over her lips and said with a devilish smile on her face.
