What day is it today?

Hui Yue became slightly flustered, she stared at the kid who seemed so innocent and naive that he's probably be sold without even knowing. Lan Du's laughter covered the area as she walked to the guards.

"Sis, you should make a choice soon, if not, you might be single for life" Lan Du giggled as he turned to the guards around.

"Oh, these guards ain't half bad, one already has his hand on his gun, ready to shoot me any moment" Lan Du lifted a brow and chuckled lightly.

"W-What?" The young man turned his head and muttered

Lan Du turned her head

"Lad, what's your name"

"Z-Zhang Hua" He stuttered and said

Lan Du chuckled and waved her hand

"Take your men and leave, give my sister some time to think about it, if not, I'll cripple every one of them before I feed you to the dogs" Lan Du's tone was threatening and cold, she didn't have the previous cheerful attitude any more.

"Y-Yes" Zhang Hua said, he then had his men leave, but a few of them felt indignant due to Lan Du's threat. They were proud fighters, when they heard Lan Du say she'd cripple them, it made them seem weak.

One of them raised his gun without anyone's notice and shot towards Lan Du's hand. He wanted to use it as a warning shot, but before he could even show anything on his face, Lan Du's figure was gone and he felt a sharp pain on his leg.

He looked down and the world he sees suddenly turned upside down. He looked around and the pain suddenly intensified. He stared at where his legs should be, but all there was is a bloody pool of blood. He then saw Lan Du holding both his legs in her hand.

This happened so fast no one saw it coming, Zhang Hua didn't know what happened either. All he heard was a gun shot and his bodyguard was suddenly legless.

Lan Du smirked and juggled the legs like a clown would with bean sacks.

"Wouldn't be the first time I've juggled someone's limbs, though this is my first time doing it legs, most the time I prefer juggling heads, they're much rounder so it's easier to juggle" Lan Du chuckled and her gaze landed on the man.

"Ah, that's right, these are your legs, sorry, I thought they were just lying around, you must want them back don't you?"

Lan Du walked over and placed the in front of him neatly.

"Here, you can have them back" Lan Du chuckled and turned to Zhang Hua

"Keep your guards in check, if not for the fact that you might become my brother-in-law, I'd have killed this pathetic fool, but he did make a good example"

The guards were all pale, apart from Hui Yue, everyone else, including instructor Ting were shocked and pale. Lan Du's actions were not only ruthless, she even played around with a person's severed limbs!

"D-Demon" One of the guards muttered

Lan Du turned to him

"Oh please, not like this is the first time you've seen someone injured" Lan Du shrugged her shoulders and said nonchalantly

The guards all shuddered

'yes, but we've never seen anyone juggle a severed limb before!'

Zhang Hua didn't know how to respond, he was after all, their employer, but that guard acted on his own so he shouldn't be held accounted. Lan Du glanced at Zhang Hua's pale face.

"Oh don't be so scared, this happens a lot around me, last time I was juggling five heads at once, my sister however scolded me for that" Lan Du sighed and walked off as if it wasn't her business.

Instructor Ting snapped out of her daze and shook her head. She grabbed Lan Du's shoulders.

"Lan Du, how can you hurt someone so casually! And why were you juggling his legs!" She shouted

Lan Du rolled her eyes

"If I didn't dodge, my hand would've been blown off, it's only fair that I return the favour" Lan Du replied calmly

Instructor Ting gritted her teeth

"Then why did you cut off his legs! Your hand is okay, is it not!" She shouted

Lan Du rubbed her chin

"You're right, I should have cut off his hands instead, after all, he was aiming for mine" Lan Du said as she sighed in disappointment.

Instructor Ting's pupils shrunk

"How...how many people did you kill" She squinted her eyes and growled

Lan Du rubbed her chin

"How many times have you breathed?" Lan Du asked her

Instructor Ting was surprised and taken aback by the question, but she answered anyway.

"How would I know? This doesn't answer my question" She squinted her eyes and replied

Lan Du chuckled

"Heh, my answer is the same as yours, how would I know? I've lost count a while ago" Lan Du's eyes were dead serious and her smile grew.

"You what! You, this isn't something someone your age should be doing" She grabbed Lan Du's shoulders with both hands and shook her.

Lan Du turned her head and removed her hands from her shoulder.

"Instructor Ting, you shouldn't get too involved in my personal life, those I have killed deserves to be killed" Lan Du said slowly, she didn't have any anger, but she had a trace of irritation.

Instructor Ting shook her head

"You were once my student, I will not let this happen" She said in a determined manner

Lan Du took in a deep breath, trying to calm down. She then sighed and took a step back.

"Instructor Ting, I admire your determination, but...."

She reached out one hand and placed it on instructor Ting's face

"But I dislike when people get overly concerned about my personal matters, even the twins trust me to the point that they won't question me even if I killed an army of thousands"

Lan Du retracted her hand and took out a lollipop, she stuck it into instructor Ting's mouth and smiled.

"Instructor, sometimes it's better to just enjoy yourself and not ask" Lan Du then turned her head and left, her very presence was like a war god. When she left, the guards all felt slightly relieved and followed Zhang Hua back.

Hui Yue walked over to instructor Ting, she patted her shoulders

"Lan Du's a strange one, but it's best to listen to what he says, he's carrying a heavy burden on his shoulders so he wants as little people as possible to know about him" Hui Yue said lightly

Instructor ting glanced at her

"But he's still so young, how could he kill" She muttered

Hui Yue shook her head

"He has a complex past, and he'll stop at nothing to achieve his goals" She said and turned back towards the shop.

"You can keep thinking about it, but don't bother Lan Du again for something like that, if he gets angry, even I'm scared"

Lan Du was now long gone, she headed back to the training grounds and on her way, she went to a nearby convenient store to buy some food. She entered the store and bought some drinks and some light snacks.

"It's rare to see someone visit here now days, lad, I'm surprised you're not visiting those high class shops" The owner leaned on the counter and said.

Lan Du smiled

"I prefer these snacks, sometimes, high class food just makes me feel nauseating, it doesn't fit me" Lan Du placed the food on the counter and scanned her card.

"Heh, kids back then visited this place so often, but now, it's all about intergalactic travels, they'd spend every day training, few are carefree enough to play around like you"

Lan Du chuckled

"Sir, you're not a simple person, you shouldn't be speaking as if you're dying, after all...a general will always be a general, even without his men" Lan Du grabbed the stuff she bought and left.

"How do-" Before he finished, Lan Du's figure was gone and nowhere to be seen.

He sighed

"Are all teenagers this scary these days? Back then, someone like him would definitely have a high military standing even without proper tests" He muttered

Lan Du held the snacks and drinks in her arms as she hummed, she enjoyed the process of eating so when she arrived at the training ground, she even prepared a piece of cloth to lay down.

She placed the food down on the cloth and lifted her right hand as she stared at her wrist. On her wrist, was a black bracelet with a number on it.

Lan Du flicked the number as it slowly rose

[130 kg]

[140 kg]

[150 kg]

It kept rising until it reached a digit of 200 kg. Lan Du did the same with the other three on her limbs and sweat slowly rolled down her face.

'Is 800 kg still too much for me? No, I have just acquired the Blood Empress, it shouldn't be too much' Lan Du shook her head and stretched her body.

After warming up, she began jogging, the jogging soon became a sprint and ended as a run. She kept running and sweat continued to roll down her face. After an hour, her breath was haggard and she was breathing heavily. Her face was pale, but a smile rose to her face.

She went back to where she placed the food but found out that half of it was gone! She looked around and didn't see anyone around the area.

"If I find out who stole my food, I'll gut them with a god for real smile on my face as I proceed to make them eat whatever comes out" Lan Du muttered

In the shadows, a figure trembled as he felt a chill run down his spine. He then heard footsteps, he let out a sigh of relief when he realised someone else was approaching.

Lan Du turned her head

"Yuan Cai? You're still here?" Lan Du saw the person approaching and spoke out

Yuan Cai smiled dumbly as he nodded

"I want to train under you" He said with an innocent smile.

Lan Du rubbed her chin

'He's so innocent and naive...hehehe, If I sell him, he'll probably be counting the money that I sold him for' Lan Du chuckled as she thought to herself.

"You want to train, but are you sure you're mentally prepared" Lan Du asked

Yuan Cai nodded

Lan Du giggled to herself, she grabbed Yuan Cai and pulled him to the lake.

"Take off your clothes" She said

Yuan Cai was shocked

"M-My clothes!?" He gasped in shock

Lan Du kicked him

"Of course, get in the water, or do you want to get in with your clothes on, I didn't bring spare clothing so either run back wet or take your clothes off" Lan Du growled

Yuan Cai nodded and hurriedly took his clothes off, leaving only his underwear. Lan Du then kicked him into the water, when his head popped out, Lan Du grabbed his head.

"Now get down there and hold your breath, until I say you can leave, you are to stay underwater" Lan Du said as she shoved his head under the waters.

Yuan Cai almost choked as he gurggled. He struggled due to his shock but soon calmed down, but he realised he was already running out of oxygen as he was struggling earlier. He tried to poke his head out the water but the moment the top of his head surface, he felt a force press him back down underwater.

"Be a good boy and stay under there" Lan Du said and sat down beside the lake. Yuan Cai began panicking, Lan Du's method was too terrifying!

He then tried to swim away so he could catch a breath, but the moment there was movement, Lan Du's hand reached out and grabbed his shoulders. He couldn't do a thing! He slowly felt his consciousness fade as water rushed into his mouth.

Before he completely passed out, Lan Du pulled him by his hair and yanked him out of the water.

"You still need to work on your endurance" Lan Du said as she let him take in deep breaths. Never had Yuan Cai felt so happy to be able to breath.

The next few minutes of breathing bacame the happiest moments of his life. He turned his head and saw Lan Du by the side eating whilst reading a book.

"You done yet? If so, get back in the water, since it was your first time, I won't punish you, but you better last longer this time" Lan Du said coldly

Yuan Cai's heart burned with determination when he saw Lan Du's disapointed gaze. He jumped back into the water and hled his breath. In a few minutes, he started to feel weak, but all he could think about was to complete the training given by Lan Du.

Before he knew it, he was out of breath but he tried to persist. But his consciousness drifted from his head as he slowly sunk down.

Lan Du sighed

"No matter how much I want to see him drown, I still need him to be safe to earn Yuan Min's full trust" Lan Du muttered and jumped into the waters. She grabbed him by the wrist and pulled him out of the waters.

Her clothes were now soaked and stuck to her. Parts were even transparent due to how thin they are, Lan Du looked down and noticed that the bandages were barely visible. She clicked her tongue and pulled Yuan Cai over to the tree. She covered him with the cloth she brought and sat under the bright sun.

Lan Du's hair was dripping wet and she became much more irritable due to the clothes sticking to her. Yuan Cai slowly opened his eyes, the first thing he saw was Lan Du's petite figure. Her body didn't look like a man's body at all, it was slim and her waist was narrow.

He rubbed his eyes and looked closer.

Lan Du felt his gaze and turned her head, her eyes were cold and desolate.

"If you've woken up, get lost, this is the first time I've seen someone try to drown themself, even my previous subordiantes were not that dumb" Lan Du growled

Yuan Cai scratched his head, but the more he stared at Lan Du, the faster his heart beat. His face became slightly red as he blushed. He then felt a certain part of his body rise up.

His pupils shrunk as he searched for his clothes.

Lan Du pointed beside him, beside him was a pile of clothes which he took off earlier. He quickly wore the shirt and pants.

Lan Du sighed and shook her head

"Come back tomorrow, rather than using this method to train your endurance, I'll use the old fashion way" Lan Du said and stood up. Her clothes were less wet and didn't stick as much, so she decided to leave now.

Yuan Cai dazed

'What is wrong with me, he's a guy' He smacked his own face and shook his head

'But when I saw him like that, I-no, I'm a normal person!'

Lan Du didn't notice the mess that is Yuan Cai's head, he kept thinking of strange things and denied himself constantly.

But if Lan Du did know what he was thinking, she'd have killed him, not caring whether she's offend Yuan Min or not. The reason was simple, he was still her half brother, if he had that type of thought, she'd have done every possible way to make his life a living hell.

She stared at her bracelets whoch were all still ay 200 kg, she was about to adjust them when she suddenly hesitated. After contemplating for some time, she reached back and kept them all at 200 kg. Her every step was heavy, but she made it as light as possible so it wouldn't make loud sounds wherever she went.

As she was walking, she saw a familiar figure walk past her. She turned her head and saw a red haired girl, walking with a young man.

"Hong Ling?" Lan Du called out

The girl turned her head and gasped in surprise

"Lan Du? Wow, it's been a while, a month I think since we last met, you really need to stop skipping school" She puffed her cheeks and said.

Lan Du glanced at the young man, he had an arrogant and domineering aura around him but Lan Du didn't feel threatened at all.

"After so long, you finally found yourself a boyfriend, I'm happy for you" Lan Du chuckled and turned to the young man.

Hong Ling blushed and held his arm

"W-We actually have been together for a while now" She said shyly

Lan Du chuckled

"Hong Ling may be a strange girl sometimes, but she also has a cute side, take good care of her" Lan Du glanced at him and said.

The young man snorted

"That's natural, she's my woman after all, and you are?" He squinted his eyes and glared at Lan Du.

Lan Du smiled and reached out one hand.

"Lan Du, you can say she pretty much played me when I was young..." Lan Du thought back on the photoes she has on her so she sighed.

The young man was confused

"Played you?"

"Please don't ask about it... it's the shame of my life" Lan Du said pitifylly

The young man turned to Hong Ling who stuck out her tongue mischievously.

"Oh come on, you're too pretty to not be messed with, I kept those photoes as a reminder" She giggled as she held up her phone.

Lan Du quickly grabbed the phone.

"Oh, don't be so hasty, I have them downloaded at home as well, taking my phone won't do you any good" She said with a sly smile.

But Lan Du smiled lightly

"Lass, you underestimate my hacking skills, once I have the source, I can delete all copies" Lan Du tapped the phone a few times and passed it back to Hong Ling.

Hong Ling was speechless

"Direct as always" Hong ling muttered

The young man beside  felt left out, he nudged Hong Ling and whispered into her ears.

"I don't like being left out" He muttered

Lan Du snickered

"What day is it today? I met three naive boys in one day, that's a record for me" Lan Du laughed
