So What If I'm a Girl

Lan Du led Phil to a large spacious bedroom, it wasn't as big as hers but it was still very luxurious. There were cabinets inside with snacks as drinks that caught Phil's attention. Lan Du then passed a card to Phil and smiled lightly.

"You may stay here tonight, tomorrow, I can take you around Japan, snacks and drinks are in the first cabinet, the others has fruits and medicine. If you feel bored, you can call Hyke, he'll take you to my room" Lan Du said gently and stepped out the room.

Phil nodded and reached for different snacks in the cabinets, he ate happily while trying out the different drinks as well.

The moment Lan Du stepped out and closed her door, a dark smile crept to her face.

"Prepare a ride, tonight, I'll be visiting William's second son" She turned to the nearest worker and said, when the person heard her, he nodded and ran off immediately to prepare a ride.

Lan Du walked out, and a car stopped over next to her. She took out her dagger and a slight smile rose to her face, she stepped into the car and took out a cap.

She placed the cap over her head and began typing on her phone.

[William, you have three sons, all living in different places, I wonder... which one of the three will be on the news tomorrow?]

Lan Du chuckled and sent the message

William who was already deteriorated by the bombardments from the public felt his phone vibrate. When he read the message, he began coughing up blood.

"Demon, he's a demon, why... why did I have to offend someone like him" He cried out in sorrow as he slammed his hand onto his desk.

"Inform all my sons! Run! As far away as possible, hide anywhere, as long as the demon Isaac isn't there!" He roared, his voice was horsey and his hands trembled before his eyes flipped and he lost consciousness.

His shouts were heard, and his sons were informed, but by the time it happened, Lan Du stepped out her car and stopped outside a house. It seemed normal, but there were hidden cameras and defence mechanisms everywhere Lan Du looked.

"His second son is rather smart, he knows how to hide his whereabouts unlike his two brothers, he must have inherited a lot of genes from his mother" Lan Du chuckled stopped outside a large metal gate. It was covered in a thick layer of plates and shock resistance materials.

Lan Du smirked and raised one leg up, her leg then shot forward and upon impact, the doors shot open. At the centre, was a dent that was half a metre long and  stretched to the limits.

Lan Du then heard alarms go off but she continued to walk in casually, guards would approach her in attempt to take her down, however, she tossed them aside as if they were made of straw. She then barged into the house and saw a young man standing there, glaring at her.

"You're much braver than the rest of your family, I applaud you for that" Lan Du smiled and said warmly

The young man didn't flinch

"You already ruined my father's company with a single video, why must you still target us" He questioned coldly

Lan Du smiled

"Because it's fun, though that's only part of the reason, the main reason being I'm someone who returns grievances hundred-fold over, in short, I'm very petty" Lan Du replied

The young man's gaze remained steady and cold

"You must have dirt on my father still, why target me?" He asked again

Lan Du took out her dagger and tossed it towards the roof. A painful yelp was then heard as the roof above her shattered and a man fell down.

"Because you're the most dangerous of your entire family, your father and elder brother cannot compare to your meticulous planning skills, for example, you already prepared an escape tunnel right below your feet, but I wouldn't activate that mechanism if I were you, after all, my hand's speed is fast enough to shoot a gun thirty-eight times a second" Lan Du chuckled and pointed her gun at him.

"This gun has a special ammunition, it's called Plasmatic Void, running on a unique battery found on planet Ever Green, being able to shoot 50 shots in a single pack" Lan Du gave him a wink and explained slowly

The young man froze

"You knew from the start... but did you think I have no trump card" He grinned and was about to say something else when Lan Du's gun shot.

The bullet flew past the young man's face, and the sound of a body dropping was heard. The young man turned his head and saw an unfamiliar person behind him, dead with a dagger in his hand.

"My second reason for visiting you isn't actually to eliminate you, rather, I have something you want, as long as you work for me, I can give it to you" Lan Du tossed a photo over to him.

The young man caught the photo and saw a woman, she was locking in a small room and had a pitiful expression, the more he stared at it, the more haggard his breath became.

"Where is she!" He shouted

Lan Du chuckled

"Sato, son of William, but unknowing to even William himself, you're actually his daughter and he locked away your mother in order to keep you on a leash" Lan Du threw another photo to Sato.

Sato was in disbelief

"How! How did you know, even William, that bastard didn't know about it" Sato roared, the photo contained Sato's appearance without tying up her chest.

Lan Du smirked

"I even know how many times you leave your house, much less your gender, now, I'll give you a choice, work for me, and I'll rescue your mother, or you can reject my offer and I'll tell the world about your gender" Lan Du chuckled and walked over.

Sato trembled

"This isn't a choice, it's an ultimatum!" She shouted

Lan Du rubbed her head

"That's because I don't do requests" Her words were ruthless and filled with mockery

Sato gritted her teeth as she glared at Lan Du

"If you rescue my mother, I will do it" She said

"Good" Lan Du walked over to the corpse behind Sato and held up her dagger.

She slowly chopped off the fingers and toes before taking out a lighter. She tossed it down and it began burning the corpse. She then walked over to Sato, lifted one of her arm and sliced her wrist. The cut wasn't deep, but it was enough to make her bleed.

She had the blood splattered over the burning corpse and around it. She then flicked her finger and the blood that dripped around began squirming. It wrapped up the corpse and the fire died down. Now, all that is left is a charred body, but the blood kept squirming around it.

It then shot into the corpse and no trace of blood remained after a few seconds. Sato was shocked as she watched Lan Du do all this.

"This corpse now contains your blood, Sato is now dead and you may work under me safely" Lan Du said lightly as she tossed a few metallic orbs around the house. It scattered everywhere and Lan DU grabbed Sato's arm.

"Let's go" Lan Du said and ran out with Sato who was confused, but a loud resounding *boom* occurred behind her as the whole house blew up.

She was petrified

"Wha-"

"Red Crystal burst bomb, a highly unstable crystal that is infused with other materials to barely stabilise it, once it feels an impact, it will blow up after a few seconds" Lan Du explained as she took out a roll of bandages.

"Hand" She then said

Sato was still a bit dazed so was confused as to what she meant. Lan Du grunted and grabbed her hand. She lifted her wrist, which still had a small cut on it as she began bandaging it up. It was only then did Sato realise that there was no excessive blood loss, and her wrist was surprisingly clean.

Lan Du carefully wrapped up the wound and tied up the end.

"Let's leave before someone comes, you work for me now so don't be afraid to cause some trouble when you feel like it, as for your mother, I sent a group to rescue her a while ago" Lan Du said gently as she escorted Sato onto the car.

Sato was still slightly dazed, but the thought of meeting her mother again filled her heart with joy and excitement.

Lan Du then sat beside her and too out a lollipop

"Want one?" She asked

Sato shook her head, so Lan Du plopped it in her own mouth and smiled

"Sato, we are more alike than you know it, that was why I decided to take you in, but if you ever betray me, I can just as easily ruin your life" Lan Du said coldly

Sato glanced at Lan Du's suave face, she nodded and wondered what type of person Isaac was. She has only heard about Isaac through her father, but never met him in person.

*brrr*

Lan Du felt her phone vibrate, she saw a message come in, but her hands tightened and her pupils shrunk. Her expression became extremely dark and she bit down hard on the lollipop.

"Sato... you need to be mentally prepared when we arrive at my place, something unexpected has occurred" She said grimly, her face was darker than ever and she clenched the phone tighter.

Sato gave her a confused look, but her heart began feeling heavy as if something bad was about to happen. When they arrived outside the facility, Lan Du reached out her hand and grabbed Sato's small hands.

She then led Sato into the facility and walked down a cold hallway. The more they walked, the colder it got, soon, Sato began feeling cold as her hand instinctively clasped Lan Du's hand tightly. Lan Du wore a grim face as she pushed open a door to the side, inside, was a white cloth that covered something.

"When will I meet my mother?" Sato asked

Lan Du bit the bottom of her lips and removed the cloth, below was a pale skeleton, the arm of the skeleton were broken and the legs had cracks in them.

"This-" Sato was horrified, but a strange sense of sorrow rose in her heart without her notice.

"I'm sorry Sato... she died around 4-5 years ago, she was found this way in William's hideout" Lan Du spoke up, her voice was filled with helplessness and a trace of guilt.

Sato realised what her words meant, she dropped to the ground and bawled her eyes out. Tears poured out like rain and her body trembled. She stood up and grabbed Lan Du's collar.

"You knew, didn't you! You knew she was dead!" She shouted

Lan Du shook her head

"William locked her up in a confined space even he rarely visits, I only knew the wherabouts, but I didn't think she'd be..." Lan Du turned to the side and sighed

"Then why didn't you rescue her the mment you found out!" Sato roared

Lan Du raised one hand and a heavy slap sound was heard. Sato's right cheek was red and her expression was shocked.

"Get a hold of yourself! Shouting at me won't change anything, fromy my report, she was taken to that hideout 5 years ago, it was likely that she died so WIlliam chose to hide the body, he was using the pretense of her being alive to keep you bound to him!" Lan Du said sternly

Sato's eyes were trembling

"But-"

"I'll give you some time to calm down, stay in here with your mother, you've lived a cold life, now, it is time for you to open up" Lan Du said and left the room.

From outside, she could hear Sato's desperate cries and wails, she sighed and shook her head.

"The feeling of losing someone important isn't easy to cope with, she is still so young yet... wait, she's older than me, why am I acting all mature and elderly" Lan Du smiled bitterly and sighed to herself.

She waited until the cries from inside stopped before she peeked in, she saw Sato kneeling in front of the skeleton of her mother as she rubbed her eyes.

She slowly covered the body with the cloth and wobbled up to her feet. Lan Du opened the door.

"Have you thought it through?" Lan Du asked

Sato nodded her head

"I want to kill that bastard, never once was my mother treated like a human, yet he still dares to use her corpse to threaten me, I will tell you anything you want... just let me kill him with my own hands" She gritted her teeth and said with cold eyes.

Her words made a smile rise to Lan Du's face

"A decisive choice, I like it" She tossed a small object over to her along with a pill.

"The badge is an identification method for my people, as for that pill... it's poison, you should be smart enough to know the reason" Lan Du said casually

Sato nodded and ate the pill without hesitation, she immediately began feeling sick so Lan Du walked over and placed a lollipop in her mouth.

"When I give out lollipops, I don't do it for nothing" Lan Du chuckled

The moment the lollipop entered her mouth, she felt the sickness fade as fast as it came, the sweetness just made it even more enjoyable.

"How much days is each lollipop worth?" She asked

Lan Du rubbed her chin

"About 2 months, I will give you another after your father is settled, don't eat it right away, after all, I give them at designated times" Lan Du said lightly and pointed behind Sato.

Only now did Sato realise the pils of bones within the room, she had been too focused on her mother that she didn't pay much attention.

"Those are idiots who didn't take my warning and decided to eat the lollipop as a snack, I hope you won't join that pile" Lan Du gestured and said.

Sato shivered and nodded her head, Lan Du smiled and walked out with Sato behind her. But to her suprise, she saw Phil standing at the side, staring at her with puppy dog eyes.

"Did something happen?" She asked

Phil tucked his lips

"No one understands what I'm saying, but I want to use the shower, so all I could do was wait for you" He said with a red face.

Lan Du nodded

"That's m fault, I didn't install bathrooms in all rooms of this facility because it's an easy place to contact foreign forces as everyone needs their privacy, I have one in my room, follow me" Lan Du said apologetically

Sato was shocked, she has always heard how domineer Isaac was, but why was she now seeing the same person aplogising to a young man.

"Why did you aplogise for something so trivial?" She suddenly said

Lan Du and Phil both paused

"You can speak French?" Phil's eyes lit up as he clasped Sato's hand

Sato nodded

"I learnt it when I was young" She replied, looking from Phil's expression, he doesn't know Sato was a girl.

Lan Du smiled

"Then this makes things easier, for now, you can work as his translator, let me explain first, he's Phil, son of a planet lord, I'm just an owner to a large Facility in Japan, though he isn't someone who flaunts his identity so you don't need to worry too much" Lan Du said as she led Phil toher room.

Lan Du and Sato waited outside as Phil took his time, Sato wore a baffled and shocked expression as she thought back on Lan Du's words.

'A planet lord... that's an existence that matches even Lieutenant Generals!' She thought to herself, noting down everything she could think of about Phil.

To her, he seems rather naive and playful, but she wouldn't let his outer appearance fool her. If he was a son of a planet lord, it was impossible for him to be so simple.

"Don't overthink things, his spiritual strength is nearing high rank royal spirit and he is always cautious, noting down his characteristics are useless, just be his translator and he won't do anything to you" Lan Du said calmly

Hearing this, Sato nodded her head lightly and was secretly surprised that Lan Du could find out his spiritual strength level so soon. Not long after, Phil walked out, looking refreshed and clean.

Lan Du then glanced at Sato

"You go get a shower as well, I prepared clothes for you already" She said and passed over a set of white uniform, it was a set of inner clothing and one coat.

Sato was taken aback

"Why is that?" She asked

"Because you have the smell of blood on you, I personally like that smell, but it won't do you any good when we need to go outside" Lan Du explained

Sato nodded her head, Lan Du took this time to check her phone for any messages and calls she might. have missed whilst she was busy. She saw two missed calls and a message, the two calls were from the twins and the message was from their grandparents.

She first checked the message, inside, she saw a list of names and a single sentence.

[Lad, is this a good enough list for you? You better not let my grandaughters down and take care of every one of them]

Lan Du chuckled

[No problem, but let me ask you, if any of them were to die... would anything major happen?]

She smiled and sent this message back at them, with a sadistic grin on her face.
