"Ms. Tsundere" and "Mr. Loner" Decides To Go On A Date (Part 1)

I, Kazuhiko Kazushi, am right now on a date with the Ms. Tsundere of our school. How did this happen, by the way…? Let’s go back in time a little bit.

Friday. During lunch break.

As the lunch break started, I stood up and headed to the school rooftop. I didn’t need to go to the school cafeteria since my mom had been able to make my lunch, so I decided to go straight to the rooftop.

When I arrived at the door that leads to the rooftop, I checked first if someone was inside so that ‘kind’ of thing wouldn’t happen again.

As usual, the school rooftop was the same as before—peaceful and quiet. I sat down and got ready to eat when…

The door opened, and a beautiful girl, despite her tsundere act, entered the area.

“So you’re here, huh?!” Furumi said, sounding mad as if I had cheated on her or something.

“What are you mad about? I’m just eating here, is that wrong?” I asked.

“Yes! There’s something wrong! Did you forget our agreement?! You should have texted me through Line and invited me to eat with you! I’m your girlfriend right now!” she exclaimed.

Oh, I totally forgot! is what I would like to say to her, but… I would definitely be killed here if I said that.

For the meantime, I will apologize. I mean, why do I need to apologize in the first place? is one of the things I want to say, but it’s a forbidden act as usual.

“I’m sorry, I won’t do it again,” I said.

“Hmph! I’ll forgive you, so don’t do it again, okay?” she replied.

“Yes,” I answered.

Why am I being treated like a child who didn’t do something my parents said?! I just want to eat peacefully. Sighs

After that, she sat next to me and took out her own lunch box. She opened it, and inside the box were…

“Whaaaat??!!!” I shouted.

“What’s wrong that you are shouting?!” she asked.

“I mean, isn’t that too much for a girl like you?!” I exclaimed.

Yes, her lunch box was full of so many things that a girl wouldn’t be able to finish by herself.

“Wha— Don’t misunderstand it!” Furumi retorted.

“What do you mean…?” I asked, confused.

“I cooked it… for… you too…” she admitted.

And so, after that, an awkward atmosphere surrounded us. I already thought that maybe she wasn’t that bad, however…

“But don’t misunderstand, okay?! It is because of the agreement and yeah! The agreement, okay?!” she said, her face reddening.

This girl is 100% a tsundere, not gonna lie. What’s more, she didn’t need to say ‘the agreement’ twice as I already knew about it. I just nodded to what she said.

After that, we peacefully finished our ‘girlfriend-boyfriend’ training, like me putting food in her mouth and so on.

However, don’t imagine us acting like true lovers; what happened during that time could be called more like siblings caring for each other.

So actually, nothing exciting happened, and I thought this would end peacefully until…

“Say, are you free this… Sunday?” she asked seriously as she was putting away her lunch box.

…

“Yes… Why…?” I replied.

“Let’s go on a date. Of course, this is for the agreement, okay?” she said.

…

Whaaaaatt!!! How can you say it so straightforwardly?! And what’s more, you said it like a normal girl?! This isn’t like you at all!

For the moment, my heart was beating so fast, and I thought that this girl was dangerous—she could really make anyone fall in love with her just like that.

I’m really glad that I am me, but this is still dangerous. Maybe soon I’ll fall in love with her.

But of course, falling in love with her is out of the question, so as soon as it is still early, I should get a hold of myself before something like that happens.

For the sake of it, I just agreed to it.

With that, back to the present day, we are right now on a date at an amusement park.

“Hey, let’s go or I’ll leave you there!” Furumi called out.

And so, our date for the day has just begun! This is just crazy, isn’t it?!
