Chapter 1:

A Second Chance to Bring Saori Back

The Sad Hero Who Failed In Building A Time Machine

Satou was just a seven-year-old boy with a love for idol culture. He adored listening to music by his favorite creator, Saori. One fateful day, while completing an important exam at school, he passed by a TV broadcasting the news.

"Welcome to Tyodo News," the news reporter announced before being interrupted by breaking news. "We have just received urgent news of a murder in Shinjuku near a 6 Twelve," the second reporter informed. "Switching to the scene, NOW!"

The scene showed the body of a young woman, who resembled Saori, surrounded by police officers and media. It was reported that it could have been a suicide. Satou, who had never been interested in the news, walked past the TV store and headed home. As he sang his favorite Saori song, he turned the corner and saw a terrifying scene. There was blood splattered all over the ground and Saori's lifeless body lay there. Satou vomited and passed out.

A few hours later, he woke up in a hospital bed next to his mother. "It will be alright," she lied, trying to comfort him. Satou knew there was nothing that could be done to bring back his beloved idol, but he couldn't shake the image of her body out of his head. He became determined to find a way to bring her back and decided to go to a prestigious school to study physics and build a time machine.

Years of research and experimentation passed, but Satou never found a solution. One day, while searching for more information on time travel, he stumbled upon a strange article claiming that Saori was still alive, but no one had seen her. The article instructed him to meet a strange man at a location in Tokyo, but Satou was too suspicious to follow through.

As Satou continued to search for a way to bring Saori back, he found himself struggling to make ends meet. He started dealing illegal goods on the side to earn extra money, but he knew it was only a temporary solution. He couldn't shake the feeling that there had to be a better way to bring back his beloved idol. He continued to research and experiment, determined to find a way to make his dream a reality.

Despite his efforts, nothing seemed to work out. Satou began to lose hope and considered giving up on his life. But just when he was at his lowest point, he was caught by the police for dealing drugs.

As he sat in the police station, waiting to be processed, Satou suddenly found himself transported back in time to the moment when he first read the strange article about Saori being alive. He realized that this was his second chance to follow the instructions and meet the strange man. Satou knew he had to take the risk, even if it meant facing his suspicions and fears. He had to do whatever it took to bring back his beloved idol.
