Satou is a young boy who loves idol culture and is devastated when he sees the body of his favorite creator, Saori, on the ground surrounded by police officers and media. He decides to attend a prestigious school to study physics and build a time machine to bring her back, but his efforts are unsuccessful. One day, he discovers an article claiming Saori is alive, but no one has seen her. The article instructs him to meet a strange man in Tokyo, but Satou is too suspicious to follow through. When he is caught by the police for dealing illegal goods, he is given a second chance to meet the man and bring Saori back to life.
