Daughter act

Not long after, Yuan Min saw Lan Du walk back into the room, her expression was slightly grim but it only lasted for a mere second. It disappeared the moment she stepped into the room and walked over to Fei Fei who was thinking to herself.

She didn't realise that Lan Du had come back, she was hugging her pillow in deep thought.

Yuan Min watched as Lan Du rubbed her chin with a sly smile and slowly crept behind Fei Fei. She reached out her hands and covered her eyes.

"T-Teacher?"

But shockingly, Yuan Min and Fei Fei both heard a stern voice

"Fei Fei, stay far from that brat in the future, he's an incomprehensible playboy" Lan Du said, but her voice was the exact same as CEO Lin!

Fei Fei was shocked, so was Yuan Min.

"D-Daddy?"

"Hm, look at you, you didn't even notice I walked in, if something happens between you and that brat, wouldn't I not even know when I get a grandchild?" Lan Du said with a contempt tone.

Fei Fei shook

"N-No, I don't have that type of relationship with him" She cried out

"Oh? Why would I not know if you have one or not? I'm saying he'll probably do something to you, that brat is dangerous" Lan Du let out a deep sigh and said, she was having so much fun she almost laughed.

"T-Then why did you cover my eyes?" She asked

Lan Du paused and a wicked smile crept up

"Because..." She lifted her hands slowly

"Fei Fei, look at me in the eyes" Lan Du said with CEO Lin's voice

Fei Fei turned her head

"da-teacher!?"

Lan Du laughed, she was laughing so hard she was holding her stomach

"C-Can you call me daddy again? It didn't sound too bad" Lan Du laughed

Fei Fei was bewildered, how did Lan Du impersonate her father's voice? It sounded so real that she didn't even notice any flaws with it.

Fei Fei puffed her cheeks and pounded Lan Du with her hands, she flailed them around and pouted.

"Pfft, hahahahaha! Come one, you sounded so sweet, give me another sweet greeting" Lan Du laughed, she patted her head and began suppressing the laughter.

But her mouth twitched, almost bursting out laughing once again

"No! You bully! All these years, you've done nothing but bully me!" She shouted with her cheeks puffed up

Lan Du smiled

"Well, blame your father for giving birth to such an adorable daughter, makes me want to bully you more, but Fei Fei, how old are you now?" Lan Du flicked her nose and asked

Fei Fei froze

"Shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up!"

Lan Du snickered

"I spoke with your father, he said it's fine to tutor you, but that sly bastard got me, he actually reduced my pay by so much, must be holding a grudge for embarrassing him" Lan Du muttered the last bit, but it was heard by Fei Fei and Yuan Min.

"Embarrass him? How?" Fei Fei asked curiously

Lan Du lifted a brow

"*Cough*, children shouldn't know about it" Lan Du said as she averted her eyes

"I'm older than you!" She shouted

Lan Du flicked her forehead

"And I'm tutoring you"

Fei Fei immediately stopped back chatting, but she held a resentful gaze, making Lan Du reach out her hand and pinch her cheeks.

"I pushed your father down and made it look like he was sexually harassing me, happy with the answer?" Lan Du chuckled and said

"You what!" Fei Fei was shocked, but strangely, she wasn't the one who spoke.

They both turned to the window and saw Yuan Min opening it and stepping into the room. He grabbed Lan Du's shoulders and his eyes were filled with disbelief.

"What did you do!" He roared

Lan Du chuckled

"You finally came out? After following me for so long, what? Unhappy with my actions?" Lan Du wore a cold smile as she spoke.

"You knew? No, that isn't important, what the hell did you do!" He roared

Fei Fei was shocked by the man who just intruded, she grabbed his hand which was on Lan Du's shoulders and growled at him.

"Let go of him" She shouted

Yuan Min ignored her

"Yu'er, you're only 18! That man is around my age!" He shouted

Lan Du lifted a brow and made a surprised look

"So you actually knew my age? I'm surprised" Lan Du said mockingly

Yuan Min felt insulted by this exclamation, his eyes grew fierce. His only daughter has just said she pushed someone down, how could he, as a father tolerate this?

"I'm your father! If I don't know your age, who will!" He shouted

"Pfft, if I didn't tell you, would you even know?" Lan Du replied with a mocking smile

Fei Fei froze

'Her father? Is that why he's so worked up? Wait, no, Xiao Mo just said she pushed my father down! What is this all about?!'

Her eyes landed on Lan Du

"Lan Yu, you better tell me right now!" Yuan Min growled

Lan Du sneered

"Because I'm your daughter, I know better than anyone else that it's survival of the fittest, but what a pity, I worked so hard to get dirt on the CEO, but in the end, I lost it because you followed me, I must get dirt on all those with high social status, but the CEO was harder than expect" Lan Du said coldly

Fei Fei gasped in shock

"Why? My father treated you well over these years, why do you need to find dirt on him?" She exclaimed in shock, a look of betrayal in her eyes as she almost cried.

Lan Du stared at Yuan Min

"Old man, you know why I did this, because there are people like you, how will I know that CEO Lin won't become someone like you?" Lan Du said with a disdainful look.

At this moment, the door of the room opened and CEO Lin walked in

"Brat, so you were his daughter, you better not have given 'that' to him" By 'that', he meant the video

Lan Du stared at him

"Old scammer, taking my paycheck wasn't enough, you're here to mock me now? The information I obtain is through my own hard work, it isn't some scrap I can give to bastards" Lan Du shook off Yuan Min's hands and sat down.

"Father, now you know, are you happy that you ruined my hard work? Are you glad that you've once again, taken something away from me?" Lan Du asked

Yuan Min gritted his teeth

"That isn't hard work! That's shamelessness, I won't allow my daughter to do such inappropriate actions" He retorted

Lan Du sneered

"Where do you think I got this shameless attitude from? Clearly not from my mother, now I put one and one together, my answer is you" Lan Du scowled with a disdainful look

Yuan Min sighed

"Yu'er....I just, I can't bear to have you do this, I want you to be able to rely on me" He said earnestly

Lan Du's hand twitched

"You can think however you want" Lan Du replied

Yuan Min paused for a moment

"Then how about our deal?" He asked

Lan Du froze

"You're really going to make me do this? In front of everybody?" Lan Du's lips twitched as she spoke

Yuan Min smiled slyly

"If not, what's the point of our deal" He replied casually

CEO Lin and Fei Fei then saw Lan Du take in a dep breath, as if preparing for the hardest task possible. But her eyes then lip up as she gave him a bright smile.

"Come on daddy, Yu'er just wants to rely on herself, don't be angry, okay?" Lan Du tucked her lips and asked in the sweetest voice they have ever heard.

Yuan Min froze as well, he looked aside

"P-Please take off that skin mask, it's very disturbing when you say it with a boy's face" He said with a trace of discomfort.

Lan Du grumbled and removed the skin mask, revealing a pretty young lady beneath. Her face shocked Fei Fei greatly as she was used to seeing her as gallant and noble, but now, she looked much more delicate and pretty.

"Daddy, don't be angry with Yu'er anymore" Lan Du pulled Yuan Min's arms and said sweetly

The change was so great and contrasting that CEO Lin and Fei Fei thought they were looking at the wrong person. But thinking back, Yuan Min mentioned something about a deal between them.

"That's more like it, so, how does it feel to be a proper daughter?" Yuan Min asked gently as he rubbed her head with a light smile.

Lan Du smiled, her voice was sweet as ever and brought a pleasant feeling.

"It feels like crap, if I want to be honest, I'd rip out my own vocal cords at this moment and thrust a dagger through my eardrums so I can never speak to you so kindly" Despite the words, her voice was delicate and gentle, as if she was saying something sweet.

Yet the contrast between the words caught them off guard.

"T-Too honest, Yu'er, can't you be more caring?" Yuan Min asked

Lan Du's smile became more vibrant as she held Yuan Min's hand

"Daddy, Yu'er didn't mean to say such mean words, even if you're the scum of my life, Yu'er is still daddy's daughter, so why don't you kill yourself so Yu'er will be happy to be your daughter?" Lan Du's sweet and gentle voice made them shudder, why can't she say something more fitting to her beautiful voice and appearance?

CEO Lin by the side was holding in his laughter

"Yuan Min, who would have thought you'd have a day like this? You've widened my view, I never knew daughters can be this interesting" He snickered and laughed at Yuan Min.

Fei Fei now paused

"Y-Yuan Min? Colonel Yuan!? T-teacher Yu is Colonel Yuan's daughter!?" Fei Fei shuddered as she stared at Lan Du.

CEO Lin patted Fei Fei's shoulder

"You seemed to have known she was a girl from the beginning, care to explain?" He asked

Fei Fei glanced at Lan Du, wondering if she should tell him, Lan Du smiled and waved her hand.

"Dear CEO Lin, how can you be so forgetful? It was the first day when I worked for you here, you know? The day on the bridge?" Lan Du smiled and said

CEO Lin nodded

"I see...it's hard to forget that day, I didn't know an entire bridge could be painted red by human blood in such short time, you surprise me more and more" He muttered

It was Yuan Min's turn to be confused

"Painted with blood? Yu'er, what did you do?" He grabbed Lan Du's shoulders and asked

Lan Du smiled sweetly

"Nothing, I just imagined the dozens of them were practice dummies, then I thought about what I should do to them if it was you, so naturally, not one drop of blood is left in their bodies, it's fun, if you imagine the death of someone you detest, you surprisingly become much more...decisive" Lan Du giggled cutely, but her words didn't match the tone like usual.

CEO Lin stared at Yuan Min

"What magical deal did you make with this brat to control her so well? I need to know, otherwise, my daughter might really be taken by her, even if she is a girl" CEO Lin said with a sigh.

He knew Lan Du's background now, so naturally, he also know of Xie Jing and Xie Ying. But since he made a deal with Lan Du, he wouldn't reveal their existence to Yuan Min.

"Humph, my daughter is just kind, why would she want your daughter?" He sneered

CEO Lin frowned and pointed behind Yuan Min. Yuan Min turned his head and saw Lan Du holding Fei Fei by the waist from behind. She had one arm over in front that lifted Fei Fei's chin up.

"Miss Fei Fei, don't worry, you'll enjoy it soon enough" Lan Du said seductively

Yuan Min's mind completely blanked, he almost fainted on the spot as he stared at his daughter in disbelief and regret. Fei Fei was blushing, despite the change of face, she found a unqiue charm to Lan Du so she couldn't help but let out a gentle nod. She immediately realised what she has done and almost fainted from embarrassment.

"Lan Yu!"Yuan Min shouted

Lan Du jumped up and stepped aside.

"Yes?" She asked

Yuan Min facepalmed and grabbed her wrist.

"We'll be going now, sorry for the intrusion" He said frustratingly, he then flew out the window with Lan Du in his arms.

Lan Du looked back

"Don't forget my paycheck!" She shouted and waved her arm.

Yuan Min and CEO Lin both staggered at this moment, even at this point, why does Lan Du still care about her paycheck?!

'Why is my daughter like this? Why can't I have a cute and warm daughter like the bastard Lin?' He thought to himself

Lan Du's bright face soon became damp

"Happy? Talking to you like that was honestly hell, remember when I broke my arms to escape you back then? Compared to this, I'd take a broken arm any day" Lan Du said disdainfully.

Yuan Min frowned

"Yu'er, I will show you that I can be a good father to you, I will find a way to cure Lan Xin and bring us together as one family" He patted her back and said emtionally.

Lan Du's face darkened

'Why? Even begging him back then didn't feel as disgusting as I feel now, hearing such words from his mouth...it makes me sick'

Yuan Min soon brought Lan Du back, Wang Shu and Wang Liu has fixed the windows, they saw Yuan Min come back with Lan Du in his arms. Their eyes lit up and wondered if the father-daughter pair has made up somehow.

They saw a sweet smile on Lan Du's face as she stared at Yuan Min affectionately, they then saw her mouth move but couldn't hear her due to the distance.

But as they got closer, they heard it all

"So you like me speaking like this? Some weird fetish you have, for your own daughter as well, so how does it feel? If you ask me, you should just kill me and get it all over with before I find a chance to kill you myself in the future" Lan Du said warmly, her smile was vibrant and kind which completely shattered their images of the father-daughter pair's lovely talk.

They both froze

'I-Is it even possible to speak with such a bright smile yet the words are more vicious that snakes? Maybe lady Lan Yu is the only one who can do this...'

Yuan Min's face was pale, he had to listen to her 'gentle' words the whole trip, he felt mentally drained and wanted to rest at this moment.

He passed Lan Du over to Wang Liu wobbled to the bedroom.

Wng Liu stared at Lan Du, whose face was colder than ice itself.

"Stared enough? Even Yuan Min doesn't dare look me in the eyes so closely, keep staring and you'll know why the blind always seem to feel empty inside" Lan Du growled and said

Wang Liu immediately put her down and looked awayl

"Good boy" Lan Du said, as if she was treating him like a pet dog.

Wang Shu found it hard to hold it in, he has always been more hot headed than his brother so he grabbed Lan Du by the collar and lifted her up.

"Do you think I don't dare to do anything to you!" He roared, seeing his brother get humiliated like that, he finally couldn't take it.

Lan Du's eyes were cold

"I know you dare to hit me, but what makes you think I don't dare hit you?" Lan Du replied coldly

Wang Shu scoffed

"I'm in Domain Realm, what makes you think you can do anything to me" He sneered as he grappled her by the neck instead of the collar of her shirt.

Lan Du found it harder to breath, but her gaze was still dead cold, she flipped her body up and her legs wrapped around Wang Shu's neck. Clenching it tighter and tighter by the second, Wang Shu also began feeling suffocating.

"So what if you're a domain realm bastard? My moto is to never lose out, if I die, I'm taking someone down with me" Lan Du said with a cruel and mocking smile.

"Go ahead, activate your domain, let's see if it's faster for your neck to break or for you to activate it" Lan Du laughed and her legs tightened once again.

Wang Shu began choking, his grip on her neck also tightened, he could see Lan Du was running out of air, but why did she still have such a cold smile? No, it was enioyment?

"You-"

Lan Du laughed and she stuck out her tongue

"You're a high stage Domain, aren't you?" Lan Du said with a sneer

Wang Shu froze, his grip loosened slightly when he heard her.

"How do you know" He questioned

Lan Du didn't loosen her grip

"Because the amount of mid rank Domain realm bastards who died to me can't be counted with your hands and feet, I know the clear difference between a mid and a high rank" Her spiritual strength shot out, it wasn't a complete domain, but it covered them, forming a sealed space.

Wang Liu didn't stop this, he heard a voice in his head

'Don't stop them, I want to see how far Yu'er can go'
