The Start of a New Life

“Aooow Aowww” my alarm clocked and yelled “one more..” I mumbled as I clicked the second button lazily and went back to sleep. A few minutes passed before I could wake up and as I did I was baffled by the hour ”It’s 8:30 already” I exclaimed to myself. I got up to my feet in a hurry I ran to the washroom to get ready brushing my teeth intensely and rapidly while getting out of my sleeping clothes in a rush. I sprinted to the stairs before realizing I had left my book bag in my room and ran faster to get it out as my dad scolded me “no running in the house Navi” “hold on” I responded in a hurry. At last, I had finally come down the stairs in a span of five minutes as I rushed to the door, my mother “Don’t go without breakfast and lunch” I quickly grabbed a piece of buttered toast and my lunch bag mumbled “love you, mum” with bread in mouth and ran off to the school. I was running down my neighborhood with bread in my mouth taking all the shortcuts and alleys I needed to get to school at an appropriate time. Then before I knew it, “aaah” and “ouch” we both exclaimed I had bumped into someone as I was running obliviously to school. Really embarrassed I trembled “I am so sorry I was late to school and…well one thing led to the other… the point is I’m so very sorry” I then bowed and was on my way. Then, “hey it’s all right” the young boy around my age comforted me, which made me feel a lot less restrained around him. “I was also coming late to school, we can run together and not look like idiots,” he said trying to comfort me, “sure” I quietly responded feeling embarrassed. We both began to run to school like idiots and arrived five minutes before class started. “We’re in the same classes” he mumbled out of breath due to running “I guess we are” I responded panting as well. The day went by as normal math pop quiz, and physical test and the English teacher starts monologuing the usual first day.
