Chapter 113:

Lan Du's plan

So What If I'm a Girl

Seeing the blood become tiny water particles, Lan Du smiled, she continued to let the blood flow until she felt slightly light-headed.

She looked up and the mist was so dense it was as if a large puddle of blood was floating above her. She then opened the door of the room and the mist began dispersing.

The mist drifted throughout the hallways and Lan Du focused it towards the door of the control room. The mist seeped through the crevices of the room and began spreading at the ceiling of the room. The people inside didn't notice the blood due to how thinly it spread out.

Lan Du hummed to herself as she waited, suddenly she heard a scream inside the room, followed by more screams and the sound of people dropping to the ground.

At this moment, she walked in and closed the door behind her. She looked around and everyone was rolling around, clutching their eyes in pain.

Some tried to rub their eyes, but the blood mist has already infiltrated below the eyelids and caused immense pain and blindness.

Lan Du hummed as she knocked them out one after another, having them all blind and defenceless made it much easier to take care of everyone.

She wore a light smile as she looked around the control room.

"Now, how should I change the ship's travel course" Lan Du giggled as she walked around, here were dozens of panels around, everything must have a separate use so she didn't meddle with it just yet.

She decided to first tie everyone in the room up and locked the door of the room. After a few minutes, she still found it hard to understand the different controls.

"Damn federation, why make such complex controls" Her eyes then laid upon the group of unconscious crew as a smile crept to her face.

"Then again, I don't need to be the one doing it" She slowly walked over as she cut open her wrist once again. The blood dripped out and she grabbed a man before forcing the blood down his throat.

The man tasted the metallic liquid run down his throat as his eyes shot open. But he realised he couldn't do anything at the moment.

"Oh, you're up, good, I've planted some interesting 'things' inside your body, if you disobey me" Lan Du snapped her finger and he saw a sharp object poke out his stomach as an unbearable pain travelled through his nerves.

He wanted to scream but Lan Du covered his mouth and the sharp object retracted. There wasn't any blood flowing out but he knew, she was in control of that thing inside him.

"W-What do you want" He gathered all his courage and spoke

Lan Du saw the fear in his eyes and smirked

"That's a good attitude, now, I want to change the fleet's destination to Xing Dian, and report it to all the other fleets as well" Lan Du said as she untied him.

The man still felt the pain as there was still a small hole in his stomach, but as no blood was flowing for some strange reason, he wasn't in any danger.

He gave Lan Du a fearful look before he stood up and did as he was told.

"If you dare to inform the other crew, I'll give you a fate worse than death" Lan Du whispered into his ears as she giggled.

The man nodded hurriedly and he began changing the ship's course. He then sent a signal to the other fleets which notified them of the destination change. Seeing that it was from the main ship, none of the side fleets question the decision and started following the new course.

Lan Du smiled as she tied the man up again.

"Now be good" She said and knocked him unconscious.

But she didn't stop here, she controlled the blood mist that was still in the air to condense near the entrance of the control centre. Now, there was a thick blood mist floating in front of the door, she snickered before walking out the control centre.

"Now for the main event" She licked the side of her lips, she slowly headed down the hallways and soon she arrived in front of the room filled with cells.

The vicinity was completely empty apart from the people within the cells, but strangely, none of them were rioting or making any noises. Seeing this, Lan Du closed the door behind her.

"If you are still alive in there, knock on your cell door, if not, I'll immediately kill you" Lan Du's voice wasn't loud, but it rang throughout the room and echoed a few times.

She then heard the sound of the cell doors knocking, she didn't know which one was knocking, but from the numbers, she smiled.

"Are there anyone in domain realm here?" She asked again

Instead of knocking, a voice came from one of the cells

"Why would you need to know? From the questions you're asking, you're not part of the ship, are you? But it doesn't matter, the domain realms are all under the influence of the admiral's virus, we can't even exert half our original strength"

Lan Du rubbed her chin, but she didn't seem disheartened

"As long as you're a live, it's fine, if I gave you all a chance to escape, will you take it?" Lan Du asked again

"Escape? Hahahahaha, that's hilarious, for many years, we have seen countless attempts, yet none were successful, what makes you think you can do it?" Many mocking voices were heard, many laughed, but their tones sounded a bit dead.

Lan Du sighed

"And I even took over the control centre for this, looks like you all enjoy this cell, I'll leave you be" Lan Du sighed and was about to leave.

One step, two steps, three steps...

"Wait! D-Did you say you took over the control centre?!" Someone shouted

Lan Du snickered

"No no, just ignore me, after all, I'm just an insignificant person in the eyes of all of you" Lan Du chuckled and replied

Hearing this, they immediately paused

"We'll follow you, let us out!"

Lan Du rejected them immediately

"I'm afraid I can't do that, after all, I have a condition that you need to fulfil before I let you all out" Lan Du chuckled as she cut her left wrist yet again, she has lost lots of blood in the past hour, so her expression was now pale but that didn't stop her.

"What's your condition"

"Simple..." Lan Du flicked the blood that was floating in front of her and it shot into thousands of small pellets. The small pellets then solidified and flew into each cell through the small hatchet at the bottom.

"Beneath you, you will now see a red pellet, you can say it's a type of poison without a cure, eat it and I'll let you out" Lan Du explained as she wrapped up her wrist with torn bits of cloth from her current outfit.

The people within the cells all hesitated, but thinking that this might be the only time they can escape, they ate the pellet.

"Iya" Lan Du then heard the Blood Empress, informing her that all the pellets has been consumed.

She waved her hand and the daggers around her waist lifted and became liquified before forming a large axe blade like the previous one. She looked around the cells.

"I'll free the domain realms first, punch the door" Lan Du said casually

She heard multiple loud bangs, but the doors stayed intact. Though she was surprised by this loud impact.

'As expected from domain realms, even under the influence of the virus, they can create such strong impacts, without a weapon like mine, I won't even be able to budge the doors'

Lan Du walked over to one of the doors on the first floor, she then slammed her axe at the side handle, causing the door to dent inwards as well as breaking off the handle.

The person inside was shocked by this strength, but when he looked out, what he saw wasn't a strong muscular man, but a handsome looking young man.

"You-"

"Enough crap, take this axe and go bust the rest out, break the domain realms out first, the rest are merely cannon fodder" Lan Du said

The man nodded, but his eyes showed a cold glint as to whether he should listen to the young man or take control of the situation. But Lan Du saw this coldness as she shot back a glare.

She flicked her finger and the man suddenly felt a sharp object poke the inside of his body.

"You're still useful so I won't kill you, but have any intentions again and I'll kill you on the spot" Lan Du said coldly as she slapped him.

The man touched his face and was about to shout but he suddenly felt the sharp object in his body spike up even more so he quietened down immediately.

He held the axe in his hand and was surprised by the sharpness.

"Such fine craftsmanship, no wonder the cell doors were unable to withstand it" He immediately grew excited as he slammed open several doors in a short amount of  time.

Lan Du sat at the side as the people slowly increased, a smile crept to her face, there were more than a dozen Domain Realms and the rest were either Royal spirits or peak Imperial spirits.

"Now that we're all gathered, we will begin the operation, the virus inside your body won't do us any good, but the pellets I gave you should be able to suppress it by a bit" Lan Du snapped her fingers.

Although the change wasn't obvious, within their body, a massive change was occurring. The virus implanted within them were tiny microorganisms from Ying Chue's domains, Lan Du's singular drop of blood began running through the people's body and began gobbling the virus.

Under normal circumstances, this won't work as Ying Chue could control the viruses at will, making it impossible for her to contain it. But if he wasn't around, the virus were mere decorations in front of Lan Du.

The people immediately felt their strength returning as shock filled their faces.

'My blood is now too deep in their bodies, if they forced it out earlier, I might've been in trouble, but now, they are mere pawns under my command' Lan Du's cold smile wasn't hidden, she expressed it very openly as she gazed upon them.

"We are large in numbers, so I want to split the group, we have three targets, one being the control centre which I have emptied out, so our last two are the communication centre and the weaponry" Lan Du pointed it out and leaned back on where she sat.

The people stared at her in confusion

"How do we do that? And why should we listen to you in the first place?" A royal spirit realm prisinor spoke up, he was extremely arrogant and prideful so he glared at Lan Du fiercly.

Lan Du smiled

"Because" Lan Du snapped her finger and the man began shaking, he screamed in pain and needle like objects shot out of his body in all direction.

From his head down to his abdomen, there was long thin needles poking out of him.

"None of you have a choice, a mere royal spirit dares to talk back at me, the rest of you have the same fate if you dare talk back at me" Lan Du said coldly, her voice was filled with threats and mockery as she looked down upon them as if they were insects.

Seeing the man's tragic appearance, the remaining people nodded.

Lan Du then undid the buttons of her coat, beneath was her smooth skin and bandages, she reached into the bandages below her arm and pulled out a bracelet. The people watching were all shocked.

How could they not tell by her appearance, this was a girl! Her body was slim and her skin was smooth, most importantly, they could tell her chest was being binded by the bandages.

But her demour from earlier! It was so demon like, yet it was a girl?! Tehy have seen countless women in the armies throughout their lives as criminals, yet they have ever met one this scary.

"Y-You're a g-"

"What? Regreting it now that you know I'm female? I don't give a damn if you regret it, but if you want to turn back now, you're dead to me" Lan Du clicked a small mechanic on the bracelet and a holographical board appeared.

Lan Du then placed her finger on it and strokes appeared one after another. Soon, a detailed map was created by her in minutes.

"The admiral and other high ranking officers are all at a banquet right now, I've also spike their food so their senses have dulled by a bit, not much, but enough to carry out my plans, this map is the places I have been to and where you will soon go to, memorise it and we will begin"

Lan Du tossed the bracelet to the centre so all of them could see.

The group stared intensly at the map, though it was incomplete, they got the rough idea in where they needed to go and what they needed to watch out for.

"I have one last question, who are you? You don't look like any of the top criminals, yet you're helping us"

Lan Du chuckled

"It's funny, truth be told, I was captured by some pirates, of course, I did the same thing I am doing now and took over the ship, but the consequences being they mistook me as the boss, so now I'm back to square one, I'm a very honest citizen" Lan Du said innocently, but her eyes didn't hide her cruel and twisted nature.

Hearing this, they also found it funny, in the end, the fleet's mistake caused an entire riot in the ship!

Lan Du looked around

"Organise yourselves into groups of three, one will go to the control centre with me, the other two will take over the communications and weaponry, the domain realms guarding will only be at most one or two, since they are busy feasting" Lan Du snickered

She opened the door after the group organised themselves. Each group had four to five domain realm fighters and the moment they stepped out, they split into smaller groups. Lan Du didn't tell them to do so, but as experienced veterans and criminals, they knew it was better to take different paths to sneak into the areas.

Lan Du felt satisfied with their actions, they took actions beyond her expectations, but she kept an indifferent look on her face as she led her group to the control centre.

Her group had the longest journey, but they also had the smoothest one as Lan Du was always at the front.

She cleared out any incoming crews, though she didn't meet much, her skillfuness also won the hearts and acceptance of the prisoners.

'Is this really a lass? She is like reaper! Even if she can't fight domain realms with skills alone, fighting anyone else will guarantee her a win'

'Now that I take a closer look, she doesn't look too bad, in fact, she'd be a beauty' Some smiled as they stared at Lan Du sweeping their path.

They'd be lying if they denied any feelings rising in their hearts, but they didn't dare show it. After all, Lan Du held their lives in the palms of her hand.

'So decisive, *sigh*, I used to have a daughter myself, looking at this lass...I feel reality is twisting, she's too damn aggressive'

In their thoughts, they arrived at the control centre before they even knew it. Lan Du opened the door but they saw a red coloured mist blocking the way. They then saw Lan Du wave her hand and the mist disperesed before she walked in.

They also followed in behind her, but when tehy looked around, they saw the mist still lingering at the side and after they closed the door, it condensed at the door once again.

"That mist is-"

"Don't ask, don't question, don't object, these are my simple rules, because I don't do requests, I want you all to be prepared, for now, get used to your body, being trapped in that cell for so long will limit the bodily function and cause discomfort when moving" Lan Du then tucked her hands in her pockets and her pupils suddenly shrunk.

'My medicine...did the take it as well?'

She gritted her teeth

'It has been about half a day since the last one I took, it's still good...but I need to get it back quick'

She took in a deep breath and sighed, she held a hand to her head at the thought of her problems. Her illness was something similar to her mother's. Her mentality was regressing to her past. Ever since her mother's case, she has been researching about this illness.

She was finally able to find a cure, but it was useless for her mother in the end as she was already deep in a coma. She has hoped he mother would wake up, but it has never happened.

'Forget it, I need to focus on my current task'

She shook her head, it was then that she heard voices from the speakers.
