Chapter 112:

Arrested

So What If I'm a Girl

The ship's leader was about to make a run for it when Lan Du aimed the gun backwards and shot him in the legs.

"When I say stop, that includes dregs like you, now, let's start with names, I'm Xiao Mo, how about you?" Lan Du smiled and glanced at the group who entered the ship.

The man at the very front frowned but he maintained a calm demur.

"I am the captain of this fleet, Sung Lu" He said calmly

Lan Du smiled

"Then you must be quite a good bargain chip" Before they could ask what she meant, she kicked the man beneath her feet aside and dashed towards Sung Lu.

The moment she did so however, Sung Lu raised his arm in preparation for combat, he threw a heavy punch towards Lan Du and targeted her head.

Lan Du however didn't stop, she moved her head slightly and allowed the punch to land on her shoulders. She then raised her knee up and jabbed it into Sung Lu's stomach. She then used her left arm to wrap around his neck.

'Glad I only removed my hand and not my entire arm, or I'd be in deep trouble'

She then pointed the gun at his head with her right hand. Ignoring the throbbing pain in her shoulder where Sung Lu's punch landed, she tapped Sung Lu's head with the gun.

"Be good and don't move, my hand gets shaky when I feel annoyed, so shaky I might just pull the trigger" Lan Du said sweetly

Sung Lu frowned further, he was about to raise his elbow up to get out of her hold when he heard a loud *bang* and a sharp pain infiltrated his leg.

"Ah, my hand slipped" Lan Du giggled

Sung Lu gritted his teeth, not letting a single sound escape his mouth, he could only glare at Lan Du and gestured for the rest to step back.

"Now, I want to see your fleet's admiral, it should be Ying Chue, right?" Lan Du tapped the gun on Sung Lu's head and said with a gentle tone.

Sung Lu glared at her and slowly nodded

Lan Du smiled and started walking, she held him tightly and headed over to the ship they came from.

"And don't think about using your domain, unless you have the rare time law domain, my finger will pull the trigger faster than you can blink"

The man ignored his searing pain from the leg injury, he was in deep thought as he followed along Lan Du's instructions.

'To apprehend me, a domain realm in such an easy manner, he isn't simple, did we underestimate this pirate crew's capability?'

He stood at the side with Lan Du until the ship reached the main fleet, the mothership was so big that Lan Du felt even Yuan Min's ship may be dwarfed by it. But then again, it may not be Yuan Min's main ship that she saw last time, but the size of this ship was a first for her.

The ship tore through space and soon entered the main fleet, once the doors opened, Lan Du walked out with the captain in her arms.

Around the ship were dozens of men, Lan Du seemed disappointed when she saw no woman. But she maintained her cheerful smile as she waved her hand.

"Such a big welcoming for me, I'm honoured" Lan Du giggled

The captain stared at her

"You seem to be quite calm, why are you so certain you won't die in our main fleet?" He questioned

Lan Du shot her knee up and struck his back

"Oh just shut up, I already said I was innocent, I'm not even part of that pirate crew, my ship was forcefully taken by them, in any case I'm the victim" Lan Du replied

The man rolled his eyes

'I have never seen a victim as brazen as you'He thought to himself

"release the captain and get on your knees!" Someone shouted, all of them pointed their weapons at her. Some were some sort of rifles whilst others were handguns.

Lan Du rolled her eyes

"Do I look stupid to you? Every time I try negotiating, I need to resort to violence, why can't I just have a proper talk with you all?" Lan Du shook her head

At this moment, a pair of heavy footsteps rumbled within the area. Lan Du turned her head and saw a man dressed in a white uniform approaching them. He had a scar on his lips and wore a stern expression.

Lan Du raised her brows as she stared at the man approaching

"You wanted to meet me?" He spoke up, his voice was deep and carried a dignified tone along with it.

Lan Du smiled

"Oh, don't be so serious, I'm just here for a chat" Lan Du said cheerfully as she waved her hand, she then glanced at Sung Lu in her arms.

"You can have him back if you want, under the condition that my safety and freedom is secured" Lan Du winked and said cheekily.

The man was the admiral, Ying Chue. He stared at Lan Du calmly before he held out one hand, his palm was open, but he suddenly closed it and Lan Du suddenly froze along with Sung Lu.

'Time domain? No, this is different, if I remember correctly, he has...'

She kicked Sung Lu aside suddenly and coughed out a mouthful of blood.

"I'm surprised, you're still alive after coming into contact with my Virus Domain" He spoke before turning to Sung Lu who was kicked away.

"But why did you kick him aside? He could have taken part of the virus for you" He asked

Lan Du coughed as she dropped to her knees, Sung Lu got up, questioning the same thing as to why Lan Du did that.

"I said I am the victim *cough*, I only had the intentions to negotiate" Lan Du wiped the blood from her mouth and stood up slowly.

Ying Chue snickered

"What does a pirate who has plundered thousands have to negotiate with me? It's funny that you think of yourself as a victim"

Lan Du coughed even harder, she reached into her pockets and pulled out some cards, but before she could say anything, her eyes blurred and she dropped to the ground.

"Lock him up" Ying Chue said emotionlessly and turned around

Sung Lu nodded and walked over, he carried Lan Du and the cards in her hands dropped to the ground but no one realised. They tossed her into a small metal cell, it wasn't even one metre in radius and a height of three metres.

Lan Du's unconscious body laid there, pale and sickly.

Sung Lu glanced at her once more

"Thank you" He muttered before closing the thick steel door.

It wasn't until hours later that Lan Du woke up, her head felt as if it was going to split apart as a pained expression rose to her face. She looked up and sighed.

"Sung Lu was a respectable captain, back then, I looked up to a certain trait of his, that is his iron will, it's funny that my first time meeting an idol is when I get locked up by him" Lan Du covered her eyes

"As I though....no one can be fully trusted"

Then, the bottom of the door shot open, and a plate slid in. On the plate was some food, but it looked as if it wasn't for humans to eat.

She clicked her tongue and before the hatchet could close, she kicked the plate back out.

"Starve me if you want, don't give me this crap again" Lan Du growled and slammed the hatched close herself.

The person on the other side was speechless, he could only helplessly pass the food to the next person which was beside Lan Du's cell.

Lan Du reached into her pockets and realised everything on her was confiscated by the fleet. She sighed and sat there with a bored expression.

She held up her right hand and clenched it, she then glanced at the steel door.

'Bloody virus, it'll take a while before it clears up completely' She thought to herself as she decided to take a nap.

After a few hours, her eyes opened and her head no longer hurts, she stretched herself as she was confined in a tight space before standing up.

She placed her right hand on the wall and felt it, the cold hard steel, a smile crept to her face.

She bit her thumb and allowed the blood to drip out, soon, a small puddle was formed but with the blood empress' control, it was all contained in a small space.

She then clenched her fist and the blood rose up, slowly forming a large axe like blade. It was long and the end was sharp, but the size was bigger than her head.

"Pop, pop, watching doors drop!" Lan Du slammed the blood axe head into the door, causing a large metal on metal collision sound.

The sound rang throughout the entire room and a large dent was made.

"Quite sturdy" Lan Du licked her lips and struck once again, this time, the door was blown off by the impact and Lan Du slowly stepped out.

She looked around and checked the surrounding. The room was dozens of metres high and had many floors. There were cells on every floor and the length was astonishing. Lan Du grabbed the door and placed it back to where it was before raising her axe, slamming it, causing the dent to invert back.

She made the axe more blunt so she could make it look flatter, though it wasn't perfect, it was much harder to tell now. She then wondered how she could leave this room without getting caught.

She walked over to the room's entrance, which was a large door that was taller than she was. She stood beside it and leaned on the wall. After a few minutes of waiting, the door opened and a man walked through, he was pushing a long trolley which was filled with plates of food.

The same one that she was served earlier on. Once he walked past the door, Lan Du struck his neck, causing him to faint in an instant. She then removed his clothes and tossed him inside the cell she was originally in.

She then changed into the crew uniform she took off him and tied her original set of clothes beneath the uniform she now wore.

After thinking for a bit, she giggled and decided to serve the food on the trolley.

'It'd be weird if I just went out with the food, and I'd be caught if the food wasn't delivered' She thought to herself, it took her a while but soon all the food was delivered.

She then pushed the trolley back out and looked around. The ship's corridors were so complex that Lan Du wondered if it was a maze. As she was wondering where she was, a hand was placed on her shoulder. Her body instantly tensed up as she turned around.

"Why are you still here? Get back to the kitchen, we're short on hands, tonight, the admiral is having a feast to celebrate the capture of a group of pirates" He then pulled Lan Du along with the trolley with him.

Lan Du didn't resist and followed along

'Lucky me...'

As she was dragged over, she memorised the places they passed by, one was a passage way with many rooms, she happened to see someone walk out and inside was a small bedroom. Another area she passed by was what seemed to be the weaponry.

But there was one room she was specifically looking for, her eyes lit up when she saw it.

'The control centre' She snickered and began remembering every detail about the surrounding area so she would know where she was.

But she wasn't given much time as the man was still dragging her, she was soon led to the kitchen. The inside was much more crowded than she expected, there were hundreds of people inside cooking and chopping ingredients.

But what shocked her was that they were all women!

Dozens of people running around with plates and silverwares as they went out to prepare the tables.

"Get a move on, go pack the silverwares and get the tables ready" The man turned his head and smacked Lan Du by the back of her head and walked off.

Lan Du nodded and followed a few people who were also packing silverwares. She carried almost five people worth of silverwares and walked out, shocking a few people.

"Did we always have such hard workers?" Someone asked

"I don't think so, he must be new, but this is good, he'll speed up the process"

They nodded and didn't seem to doubt Lan Du's identity. As Lan Du was setting up the tables, she noticed that one table was smaller, but it was placed on a platform, levitating about two metres above the ground with steps leading up to it.

'That should be Ying Chue's table, arrogant and conceit' Lan Du sneered in her heart as she continued setting up the tables.

After they were all set up, she was given some break time. She realised that the kitchen was completely void of people during this time, so she reached into her chest, beneath her bandages, she took out a small paper packet.

There were some powdery contents inside, she quickly dosed each pot of soup and pucked the package back into her bandages.

Soon, members of the fleet walked in, the room that seemed to be large was now almost completely full with people. There were thousands of people around and over a dozen per table.

"Get ready to serve the food, if we are slow, we'll be punished by the admiral" Someone pulled Lan Du into the kitchen and said.

Lan Du followed along and began serving the food, she avoided looking in the direction of Ying Chue as he has seen her face, her face masks has all been taken so she couldn't hide her face either.

She waited patiently, until then, she was on standby along with the other kitchen staff members. They all stood around the walls so they didn't block the path. They weren't able to enjoy the meals they prepared, nor were they able to sit down to rest.

Lan Du felt disgusted by this, they merely treated the staff this way because most of them were women, she could see the contempt gazes from the crew as they ate whilst the kitchen staff all had to watch.

But Lan Du hid her anger, she stood there with an empty look on her face.

Half way through eating, Ying Chue glanced at the kitchen staff

"You all can go now" He didn't say it loudly, but just loud enough so the staff could hear him.

Lan Du smiled, she has been waiting for this, she followed the crew out the room and they were free to go back to rest. Lan Du however found an empty room nearby and quickly changed out of her uniform to her original outfit.

She then cut her finger, a few drops of blood oozed out and slowly formed a small pair of daggers.

"If I had this when I was young, I'd have saved so much money" She muttered as she tucked the daggers to her side.

She then walked out the room she was in and tread down the familiar path. She rmemebered most details of the area she passed by and soon stood in front of the control centre.

Instead of walking in, she leaned at the wall next to the door. The moment the door opened and a person walked out, she covered his mouth and closed the door.

After, she dragged the man to the empty room without getting noticed by anyone.

"How any peopel are inside the control centre" She pressed the pair of daggers at the man's throat and pressed his body against the wall.

The man shuddered, Lan Du then shoved a piece of cloth into the man's mouth so he couldn't speak.

"Use yoru fingers" She said

He raised his two hands, one had one finger up whilst the other had two fingers up.

"12 people? How big is the room?" She asked again

The man felt conflicted as he didn't know how he should describe the size with his fingers alone. Lan Du slashed with her dagger and blood began flowing out of his forearm.

"Use the blood and wrote it down" She said, after realising his difficulty

'This crazy bastard, using my blood? Dammit, why do I have to be so unlucky! How did he even get in here!'

He slowly used his fingers and pressed it upon the bloody arm before he started writing with the blood. He wrote down the length and width of the room down. But the moment he finished, he felt a heavy impact land on the bck of his head, causing him to lose consciousness.

Lan Du then read the blood writing

'Twenty by twenty five, his control centre is quite big, it'll be troublesome if I can't take care of them all at once' She rubbed her chin and thought.

She suddenly had an idea, she cut her wrist with her dagger and allowed the blood to flow.

"Blood empress, can you turn the blood into mist?" Lan Du asked

"Iya" A cheerful voice rang in her head as the dripping blood disappeared, no, it was still there, but it was now fine mist.
