Duel Announcement: Jackie VS Seril

Kyshanne was tending Carnelia’s wounds while explaining what was happening. “Said that boy got seven days before his trial. Three days have passed, and we still don’t understand what he had been doing,” Kyshanne was thoroughly applying ointment on the burns. One damage Demons can’t regenerate from is salts. It needs the same treat humans need when burnt. “He’s been askin’ questions on Seril and Pablo since yesterday. O’course, the two can’t hurt him, or be mean to him, because it was Xadulo’s order. Oh, by the way, he was ten turning eleven, and he seems to have a crush on Xadulo ever since the first day”, “…how were the three doing then?” Xadulo asked after a very long chat. It was awkward for Kyshanne realizing it was the cold Carnelia she was listening to. “They’re fine, I guess? I mean, Pablo had been glaring at him, showing no sign of befriending him.”

“Well, you guys just don’t know what it’s like to f-fall in love!” Jack said, that only made it harder for the two to get a hold of themselves. Seril stood as Pablo said, “Well, you just don’t know what it’s like to be a trusted friend of Xadulo’s!”, “Hey, that one actually hit me,” Seril said as his laughter halted for a second. “What? You aren’t a friend, Seril?” Jack said with a little tone of teasing. “Don’t be full of yourself, Jackie kid. I AM a friend, simply not just not a trusted one”, “How come you were one?” Seril got pissed. “Kiddo, you have done something worse than I did, so you’re still lucky to be alive, like REAL LUCKY. You might even get a promotion worse than just an untrusted,” Seril got treated differently from Pablo and Kyshanne, all because he was untrusted. There were times he wasn’t part of the group while eating because ‘he might put poison in our food’ or not joined when swimming on rivers or lakes cause ‘he might electrocute us’. “Isn’t that more of being suspicioned than being untrusted?” Pablo asked. “Why do you ask like you’ve never seen it? After three years that were together?” Seril shouted.

“Then why don’t join Jackie’s audition? No, let’s make it a duel. Whoever wins will be my trusted friend, plus, he can say whatever he wants to happen to the other, and I’ll grant it,” Xadulo, who suddenly came out of nowhere, said from a tree. “My love!” Jack said, spreading his arms as if readying to catch her. “He really didn’t hesitate”, “Must be a pervert,” Pablo and Seril whispered at each other. “Seril, you do want to be a trusted friend, right?” Xadulo asked. “Of course, I do! I am thankful you accepted me, but I still don’t want to be left out,” Xadulo smiled at him. “Alright, then, four days from now on, you’ll have to compete with Jackie. Make it whatever kind of duel you want; a fight, a talent show, or whatever. Judges would be me, Pablo, and Carnelia. Make sure to make it entertaining,” Xadulo said, as sun rays reflect to her hair, making her look like a goddess to Jack. ‘I’ll make it sure to win, so that I can win your heart!’ He thought.
