Chapter 10:

Stay away from him

Bitter-Sweet

So, Tina put her bags in the trunk and sat with Ryan in the front. He started to drive.

"Is this your car, Ryan?," she asked him.

"Nah, it's my Dad's. But he doesn't drive it anymore, so I drive it," he answered.

It was a red colored Honda city hybrid eHEV. The weather was chilly outside. Both of them were too overwhelmed by the feeling of being with each other in a car, out on the cold roads. The moment too much for either of them to take in. Considering they had met just three or four days ago, they were head over heels. Even if Tina didn't have feelings for Ryan Verlice yet, she was sure to have them sooner or later. Meanwhile, Ryan Verlice was so into her that he did not know how to drive fast right now. He was mesmerized and staring intently at her. She noticed.

"Ryan, look at the road and drive. Don't look at me," she said, blushing. He smirked.

"Sorry, forgot I had to get you home," he said.

"What's wrong with you? Just drive fast and get me home. The girls would be waiting for me," she said.

"Can't you not talk about the girls right now? I mean, it's just you and me here. Think about us, baby," he said, tilting his heard towards her.

His sexy aura being vividly visible to Tina as he drove through the faded streets under the streetlights.

"Ryan, please don't say stuff you shouldn't be saying. Just drive or I'll get out of the car right now," she said, a bit mad.

"Fine, baby. I'll just drive," he said, a smirk visible on his face.

After some minutes, Tina felt like home was nearby and it actually was. Ryan Verlice had actually drove fast and had gotten Tina home fast.

He helped her with the bags and brought them to the house with her. Benny was the one who opened the door for them. She gave them a wide stare. She was disgusted.

Tina and Ryan were sitting on the couch inside the big hall. The girls having their arms crossed and giving Ryan death glares, standing across the couch.

"We need to talk, Tina," Benny said.

She was mad.

"Go on," she said, calmly. She knew what this was gonna be about: Ryan and why he dropped her home.

"Closet perv, why was Tina with you?," Angelina said, staring like a rude lioness at him.

"Oh, nothing. We just met at the plaza and then I dropped her home because she had a lot of bags with her. Just that," he said, smiling.

"Good. What did you guys do together?," Kayla asked, a bit too suspicious.

"We fucked. Fine?!," Ryan said, smirking.

 Tina eyes widened.

"He's lying. Nothing like that happened!," she said, waving her hands at them.

"Yeah, I'm just lying. We did nothing. Tina was like: 'Drive fast. I wanna get home. The girls would be waiting for me'. But, trust me. If we would've had time, I would've definitely fucked her," Ryan said, in a matter-of-fact way.

"Tina, stay away from this asshole from now on!," Aroma said, disgusted.

"Guys, he's just kidding. You know he's not like that. Let's not say anything bad to him. He's a really good guy, you know," Tina said, smiling.

The girls nodded in hesitation.

"Ryan, I'm sorry," Tina said to Ryan at the door outside.

"It's fine, Tina. I'm sorry I was being too flirty. They were right. You should stay away from me," he said, smiling awkwardly.

He turned to walk towards his car. He looked very sad. Tina felt it.

"Ryan, wait," she said.

He stopped and turned around to look at her. His eyes asked her about what it was that she wanted to say. She ran towards him like the wind and hugged him tightly. He blushed insanely and his eyes widened.

He brought his hand to her hair and caressed her head gently. He didn't knew what to say to her but her words were enough: "Good night, Ryan," she said to him, blushing.

She pulled back and stared beautifully into his eyes.

"You can go now," she said, smiling innocently.

"You're so pretty, Tina. I don't wanna go," he said, blushing.

"Shut up and leave before the girls say something to you again," she said, her face burning up.

"Fine, baby. May you have a good night, too," he said.

She walked back inside and saw him leave. Both of them were indeed going to have a good night. Tina was definitely not gonna stay away from him. Not that he wanted to, too.
