Sparks of Danger - Rouvil Revolution (Part 1)

Capital City Gyram, Eastern Rouvil Kingdom

With the full and bright moon shining over the city, the bright nightlife of the wonderous city of Gyram, the capital of the soon-to-be-founded Union of Rouvil Kingdoms goes on. High-ranking members from each of the Rouvil Kingdoms met up at King's Garden Palace to officially sign and unite the three Rouvil Kingdoms once and for all. The West Rouvil Kingdom was invited to join them as the Union of the Rouvil Kingdoms but they refused due to political differences. As the North, South and East Rouvil Kingdoms grow closer to the Second Entanian Alliance, West Rouvil grows closer to the United Western Council. 

And that was quite problematic. After all, the cities and territory that West Rouvil controls are where the once great superpower of the world, and the Rouvil Kingdom's common ancestor, the Rou-Villa Empire, had originally emerged. Countless historical buildings, cities, and sites are mostly in West Rouvil controlled territories and the Union's three members greatly wanted to have them. 

But that is a problem for another time. As the time for the signing was drawing closer and closer. The people who are attending the event are excited and cannot wait for the event to happen. Cameras are readied to record the moment so they can always recall the moment when the Rouvil Kingdoms united as one country. 
But do you know who is also very excited for the event? 

"Hm." she says in a happy tone. "Just a couple more minutes and that's it!" 

"Oi." someone replies to her. "Calm down. I know you are excited about killing all of them but please calm down." 

In the moonlight, medium-length silver-grey hair, almost a metallic colour with a tint of pink and purple was flying in the wind on a rooftop of a tall skyscraper. She was wearing a long puffy white jumper and shorts, but she was hiding countless deadly weapons such as daggers, short swords, and backup pistols underneath her jumper. 
"Alright, I know that, Rharas," she answered him. A man in black standing right beside her with a weapon in hand prepared to shoot. "Stop treating me like your daughter too!"

"Me treating you like my daughter..? Boss, have you finally gone insane in the head?" he asked. 

"No, of course not. Well maybe but, I could still blow your head out." and with that said, within a second, the girl pulled out a dagger, placed it on the man's neck and also had a gun on his forehead. "See? I told you I could just kill you like that." she said to him. 

"Well, if you killed me right now, Boss, then you would lose a significant amount of your strength for this raid. You should reconsider." the man replied calmly. 

The girl looked the man straight in the eyes for a moment and put back her weapons under her jumper. 
"Yeah, you're right. Without you, then the whole raid would most likely go up in flames. Not to mention, I would lose an important figure in my organisation." 

"Glad you had reconsidered your actions, Boss. And by the way, should we first deal with these guards interrupting us or first go tell our soldiers to start the raid?" 

The girl looked around. They were surrounded on all sides by the Rouvil Military Force and around a hundred soldiers had already landed on the neighbouring rooftops. 
"These guys would be an annoying bunch to deal with when they get their numbers high enough. We should deal with them first, Rharas." 

"Roger that." 

The man in black quickly moved into a defensive position and started firing. Meanwhile, the girl with metallic-coloured hair was like a cheetah. Downing soldiers left and right with her blades all while laughing hysterically. Blood wasn't able to land on her white jumper or her clothing at all as she moving too fast. There was no noise since the soldiers died before they realised they have been killed. 
Within four minutes, all of the 160 soldiers of the Rouvil Military has been killed. The others retreated on helicopters with protective barriers around them, making most hand-held guns useless. 

"Well, that's done. Rharas send the order to being the raid would you?" 

"Of course." the man replied. 

"I'll be in our planned position if you need anything. Or just contact me. Well, let's get this started!" 

...

Emperor's Castle, Captial City Blae, Cloud Empire

In an unknown room, forgotten by most people in the Castle, a faint light could be seen. 

"Oh! Long time no see, Izumi. I was worried if you were ever going to contact me or not." a voice said to the Emperor. 

Emperor Yuu De La Izumi bowed. A fairly large blue-translucent screen was showing none other than the person who created this world, Uto. 
"Yes, I am terribly sorry, Uto. I had some problems to deal with for the past several hundred years. However, I carried out your orders and established the Cloud Empire as the regional power and as one of the world's superpowers." the Emperor replied. 

"Oh, you did? Very well. I'll let Rei- Goddess Reimei take over this conversation and she will provide what to do next. Well, catch you later." he said. Uto walked away and was out of view from the screen. And soon after, Reimei appeared. 

"Long time no see, Goddess Reimei." 

"Hm. Same to you too. How long has it been? 4,000 years now?" Reimei replied to the Emperor.

"To be precise, it has been 4,659 years since our last contact." 

"Oh really?!" Reimei shouted in surprise. "Oh well, time really flies huh. Well, anyway, As Sir Uto had said before, I would be providing you with new plans, ideas, and recommendations for weapons, architecture, and more. Well, let's get into it." 

"Very well." 

...

As Goddess Reimei shared her plans and ideas with the Emperor, a new danger was emerging right outside their doorstep. One that may or may not destroy the Cloud Empire, which Yuu De La Izumi and others worked so hard to create. 

"How is the progress?" 

"Not going well. The knights protecting Emperor's Castle have been tripled from the normal amount so there are a lot more dangers to worry about." 

"Ugh." 

Aki De Vos and his partner, Sovlo De Vos, are brothers. They are actually distant relatives of the emperor of the Cloud Empire, Emperor Yuu De La Izumi.  
Despite that given honour from their birth, they had always despised their distant relative. They hate being in the shadow of the "God" Emperor. They hate how the country works. And they always hated those who had taken the lives of many. And this time, most likely several tens or even hundreds of millions of people. 

"What shall we do?" asks Sovlo to his brother. 

"Well-" Aki started. But he suddenly got up and started to look at the surroundings around him. "Who's there?!" he says. 

Nothing. No reply. Sovlo also starts looking around at their surroundings but he stopped soon afterwards.
"Sovlo. Follow me. Hurry!" he said, running away. 

"Ah. Okay..." 

The sound of heavy footsteps quickly disappeared into nothing. Out from the shadows comes 7th Seat of the Guardians of the Cloud Empire, Ruta Kasper.
"Tch. I can't believe they had a teleportation device or something like that in their hands. And I also let two dangerous people escape huh," she whined. "Oh well, I could just track them by the sudden rise of data here but that's annoying to do... sigh. I really wish I had another Guardian here to help me do this task..." 

 Meanwhile, the brothers just had arrived at the teleportation device's designated location, with Sovlo nearly crashing into the floor. 

"What am I going to do now?" Aki asks himself. Afterall he just had used one of the organisation's few teleportation devices without gaining anything. 
The higher-ups are surely going to kill us two if we report back to them right now. For a basic plan right now, I think we should try to return back to the Emperor's Castle and plant a few of those antimatter bombs along the vents or canals of the castle. I should be fine going alone but I'm worried about Sovlo and whoever was spying on us. If they didn't reveal themselves when I called out that I knew they were there, then I'm guessing we are facing a person with lots of experience in the field of spying, assassination, and that stuff.

"Um... Aki, I believe we should get going now." Sovlo worriedly said. 

"Hm? What's wrong?" Aki asks his brother. 

Solvo did not reply. Instead, he looked and pointed at something above. When Aki's eyes just glanced at the thing, he knew they were already good as dead. 

"Good day, gentlemen." Ruta says to them. 

"R-run!" Aki cried out. 

The brothers quickly fled the scene leaving Ruta in the dust. However, due to her being one of the 10 Guardians of the Cloud Empire, she was able to quickly catch up to them both, leapt down from the rooftop of the building she was running on and pinned the brothers down to the ground. 

"Please, do not resist. You cannot overpower me with physical strength, I'll let you know. Now let's see... hm... oh? Aki De Vos and Sovlo De Vos? If you both have the surname, 'Vos', then... it means that you are distant relatives of the Emperor right?" 

"How did you know our names?!" questioned Aki. "No, wait... it can't be. That light gold hair and gold eyes! I can bearly remember but... now you had just known our names then, you must have an Eye of Information!" 

"Ho? You know about the Eye of Information? That's quite rare. But if you are a distant relative of the Emperor, then it makes sense." 

"And... if you have the Eye of Information, then you... you... you must be one of the 10 Guardians of the Cloud Empire!" 

Ruta smiled. 
"Bingo. And for your rewards of discovering my identity, I shall reward you with death," she says to the brothers with deadly and bloodlust stares. "After all, the Guardians' identities must be kept hidden from others at all costs. But don't worry, you will feel nothing. I'll make it painless and quick. Afterwards, I will take your bodies to the Emperor so you can see your relative that you hated so much." 

Immediately after, their heads go flying into the sky with one swift and clean cut made by Ruta's blade. They didn't even get to say their last words in this broken world. A pool of blood leaks out from the brothers' necks as Ruta unwillingly cleans up the mess. She stores the brothers' heads in a bag and keeps it in a safe spot. After cleaning up most of the mess, she calls the attention of some knights to completely finish off the job as she goes and sees the Emperor. 

...

Arni Leifur sighs in her seat. 

"What's wrong, Arni?" asks Klavs. 

"It's nothing major I guess. But I still can't believe that both Aki and Sovlo had been working with a dangerous organisation to topple the Cloud Empire's chain of command." 

"What? Do you mean the brothers that 7th Seat reported were of the 'Vos' branch of the Crown Family, Aki De Vos and Sovlo De Vos?" 

"Indeed. It appears that they had hated the Emperor for some time now and just recently joined the organisation known as 'Klilovs' headed by some crazy girl. I don't know her name but their second-in-command, Rharas, is one dangerous guy." 

"Are they both strong?"

"You bet they are. I fought them around... let us see... around 800 years ago I believe. Back then, I was a lot weaker than now, but I was still pretty strong. Maybe as strong as a Major General. But anyway, that guy, Rharas with his weapon of choice being an automatic-14mm sniper rifle. That gun is crazy strong. Powerful enough to tear through reinforced concrete like it was butter or something." 

"Yeah... that sounds pretty tough to handle." 

"And that's not the only point! It was an automatic sniper rifle! So it could just shoot out those 14mm bullets like it was a machine gun!" 

"Well, isn't that classified as a smaller anti-material rifle?" Klavs jokingly replied. "But I'm shocked that you came out of that battle alive; no, in one piece actually." 

"Yeah, that also surprised me too. But I was unable to finish him off as he was able to retreat into enemy territory with reinforcements. Lucky bastard." Arni clicked her tongue. 

Going back a little while, Ruta has just entered the chamber with the Emperor being absent still. Klavs and Arni were still there, so Ruta reported to them. She quickly reported on what just happened, with documents of data, pictures and more, leaving the two of them quite astonished. Ruta left immediately after finishing her report to continue guarding the Castle. 

"How do I ever relay this to the Emperor..? Two of her distant relatives both killed and both were working for an enemy organisation..." 

"Ha-ha-ha! It totally sounds like a made-up story doesn't it, Arni?" 

"Indeed." 

...

"I see..."

Emperor Yuu De La Izumi stares at a floating transparent blue screen. There, on the screen, many green and red lights along with some bits of text below them could be seen. The Emperor reads the text once again.

As Goddess Reimei gave Izumi Uto's plans for the next thousand years, they got interrupted by a notification on Izumi's side. 
Interested in what it has to say, Emperor Yuu De La Izumi opened it. What it contained was a short message. It only read: Person(s) Aki De Vos, Sovlo La Vos are dead. Information updated. 

How?  The Emperor thought. My distant relatives, Aki and Sovlo are both dead? 

"Excuse me, Goddess but may I take some time from our conversation in order to figure out what's going on on* a personal side?"

"You may."

"Thank you." 

After that short interruption, Reimei finished explaining the plans to Izumi. The Emperor was not very keen to find out that both of her distant relatives were in an enemy organisation threatening the existence of the Cloud Empire itself. Footage from her secret drones showed that 7th Seat of the Guardians, Ruta Kasper was tailing the brothers, who were planning to plant several anti-matter bombs on the castle walls, hoping to distract the ruling party of the Empire for some time. But they were chased by Ruta and she killed them both after they found out that she was a Guardian. Which in Izumi's mind, was the right thing to do, even though the people who got killed were her distant relatives. 

"The identities of the 10 Guardians of the Cloud Empire must be kept hidden at all costs. No matter the person." she says.
