Justice Blessing

(As Bai awakens in a dream, he'd notice Xu sleeping upside down in a tree as if she were a bat while wrapped in her six tails for comfort. Bai then knocks on the tree and catches Xu who then awakens and shifts into her physical form.)

"Xu: Hm..? Bai, is something wrong..?"
"Bai (Conscience): I just can't sleep after being curious. What more is there to the Justice Blessing?"

(Xu sighs and dresses herself up as she was still tired then walks with Bai's conscience to see the hidden details of his blessing.)

"Xu: Well Bai, there is a lot I can tell you about your blessing. But you need to understand the dangers of knowing this too and why your blessing must be protected at all costs."
"Bai: Okay."

(As Bai then understood, Xu summons a thin platform to carry them both into the endless fabric of Bai's ongoing dream.)

"Xu: The Justice Blessing starts off as two handguns right now, but in the future as you fight more and more, your blessing will evolve and reach bigger heights. However, your blessing will involve into five varieties of weapons. The two handguns are your starting weapons, next is the Nichirin Blades, then comes the Tremoring Conqueror Claymore, your fourth variation is a curse on top of a blessing. The Panther Curse and your blessing's fourth form is the Claw Gauntlets then finally, the fifth variation is the Mallet Of War.

(Bai then stares at the variations in awe as Xu then closes the curtains on all five forms.)

"Bai: So where did these blessings come from?"
"Xu: The Justice Blessing was created by five different blessing users and one curse welder. However... Before the completion of the blessing, Ghouls and Spirit users found all five and slaughtered them to take the blessing for themselves and then split it in a way the Fifteen Ghouls would become unstoppable."
"Bai: Fifteen Ghouls?"
"Xu: Yes. Three years ago, a meteor collided onto Earth in the east of the United Kingdom. From what I remember, the meteorite exploded on Earth and released a massive swarm of hungry Ghouls which conquered the entire country. Which is why every March 18th is known as the Bloody Eclipse Incident.
"Bai: Eclipse?"
"Xu: Ah... United Kingdom was completely all Ghouls, no human left. But then... on the 4th day of the Ghouls invasion, we met... Him."
"Bai: ...?"

"Xu: A massive light from the skies was shining down on the entire country and in just mere seconds... The United Kingdom was incinerated, no trace of it was left. Except, fifteen Ghouls remained and escaped. And now, there are countless Ghouls in hiding three years later and because of those fifteen, they are the reason Mercenaries are more active nowadays. But with the major decrease of Mercenary power, Ghouls are soon to begin their main operation... Find and kill you, then extract the Justice Blessing from you, Bai."

"Bai: ... I see."
"Xu: And the dangers of you knowing this means you now understand why the Angel gifted you this blessing when you were going to die. You Bai are the Arcane's Chosen One and your goal is to get stronger and defeat all Fifteen Ghouls.. or as they call themselves, The Genocide Pact."
"Bai: ...I'll get stronger."
"Xu: Hm?"
"Bai: As I think about it, I was a scaredy-cat... Always was but now after knowing this, I will get stronger.. and I will defeat all Ghouls."
"Xu: Glad you understand Bai, anything else you wish to ask?"
"Bai: Well.. Do you know how I can get my heart back?"
"Xu: You'd have to-"

(As Bai's alarm was going off outside his dream, Bai's body began to wake up as Bai's conscience sighs as their time was up.)

"Bai: We'll talk later..."
"Xu: Good morning, Bai and yeah, we'll talk later."

(As Bai then awakens, he'd yawn and stops his alarm, prepares for the day and receives a phone call from his principal. Bai then answers quickly after making himself more awake.)

"Bai (Phone): Hello?"

"Sun Xinyi (Phone): Mr. Zhen, good morning to you. Is this a bad time?"
"Bai (Phone): No no.. What's up?"
"Sun (Phone): I was just given a visit by Ms. Jiia of the Mercenary Association, you've been accepted as an official Mercenary Minor."
"Bai (Phone): R-Really?! YES!"

(Sun smiles over the phone for Bai as he was celebrating.)

"Bai (Phone): So what in the meantime?"
"Sun (Phone): You'll actually be considered academy royalty knowing that you are now a Mercenary but it kind of means expect some "royal" treatment."
"Bai (Phone): Oh.. Well, if I'm a Mercenary now, I'm glad. I just want to be rid of these Ghouls as quickly as possible."

(Sun smiled again with a chuckle.)

"Sun (Phone): That's what I'd like to hear, the academy reopens in a week on Monday so take this time to devote to training, okay?"
"Bai (Phone): Thanks headmaster, a lot and I will."

(As they both then said goodbye, the call ended as Bai then gets up with a new pair of clothes as Negan was out currently shopping while chatting with Reinhard, Jingyi Grand Academy's new student whom was joining Negan and Xue, Bai's sister was at the gym exercising. Meanwhile in the main hideout of the Ghouls, Omgut returns with Rac's remains of his body.)

"Omgut: I have returned."
"???: Excellent."

(As the one Ghoul then stands, Rac's body was replenished of its limbs as Rac then begins to awaken on the cold floor as he was in the presence of the Fifteen Ghouls.)

"Rac: ...W-Wait...! I.. failed..?"
"???: Yes. You have. It is not your fault, we've underestimated the protection of the one who carries the Justice Blessing."
"Rac: I will go back and kill them both again..."
"???: No need, you were no match for Commander Negan nor were those double S category Ghouls. Jiq, inform the scientists in the lab to have the next batch more durable."
"Jiq (Ghoul | Power: Binding Curse | 10th Of The 15 Ghouls): Yes."

(As Jiq then walks off to do so, Rac was then curious on the next phase.)

"Rac: So what is our next plan then...?"
"???: I will set you an appointment with one of the scientists, they will inject you with a blessing to counter the Justice Blessing."
"Omgut: If I may interject, what's the reason for hunting this Bai Zhen?"
"???: There is a story behind why Bai must be killed or extract his blessing from him. But I will inform you and say, one who holds the Justice Blessing is considered the Gods chosen one."
"Omgut: Really?"
"???: Yes. There are many Ghouls who'd want the Justice Blessing for themselves.. But I wouldn't be so hasty going to go after the Justice Blessing that easily."
"Omgut: Did you ever think about an undercover strategy?"
"???: ...Elaborate."
"Omgut: What if one of our Ghouls infiltrates into the life of Bai and collects everything he can? If we succeed, we can strategize a plan in order to extract the blessing or kill him."

(As the leader then smirks and chuckles which slowly builds into a laugh, Omgut was then a little worried as the leader began to speak again.)

"???: Your plan sounds very interesting, we'll give it a try and see what happens then..."
"Omgut: Thank you, master."

(As Omgut was then dismissed, the leader then smirks as he thought of the right candidate for this undercover operation.)
