[CHAPTER 2]

After passing out due to exhaustion, Ray's mother heard the noise and quickly went to his room. Upon opening the door, she saw her son lying on the floor and quickly carried him to his bed. She went to the kitchen, took a bucket filled with clear water and a towel. She put the towel in the water to make it wet and placed it on Ray's forehead.
A day later, Ray finally woke up. He got up from his bed and went outside to explore the place he was living in before. While wandering, he accidentally saw a girl practicing magic. Instead of revealing himself, he observed the little girl. However, the girl noticed someone staring at her and focused her magic on her right arm. She pointed her hand towards where Ray was hiding and said, "Show yourself at this instant!!" Ray showed himself to the little girl and raised his hand.
Ray spoke to the little girl with honesty, revealing his cute and innocent face. He asked, "What's your name?" but the little girl didn't answer at first. After a moment, she laid down her right arm and said, "My name is Aly, what about you?" Ray replied, "My name is Ray. Nice to meet you."
After their introduction, Ray said goodbye to the little girl, promising to meet again soon. Ray went home straight to his room. His mother noticed that he was acting weird. After arriving at his room, Ray remembered that he had made a wooden sword before. He opened a large box and took out the wooden sword he had made before, then went outside to practice swordsmanship.
Ray prepared his stance with his left leg in front, lifted his sword to the right side of his face, and shouted, "Haa!" as he swung his sword downward. Then he moved his right leg in front and swung the sword upward, shouting "Hiya!"
He stood straight, moved his right arm backward, and thrust his sword forward, swinging it to the right with a horizontal strike. He applied his mana onto his palms, igniting his sword with flames.
After his training, he touched his chest to feel the core inside of him. He knew he was about to enter the 2nd Class magician level.
