Chapter 2:

Azaleas life

Not The Cinderella's Story

I then see the boy start to tear up, and I-

I start looking around my surroundings, and see two other people in the room. A butler, and a old woman.

 *SMACK*

"Don't touch your brother like that," shouted the woman. She then spits on me, then leaves with her son in her hand. As the door to my room closed, I tell myself that this is all a dream and to go to bed, but as I try to lift my hands to wipe my face, I couldn't lift my right hand. Therefore I wipe my face with my left hand. I then rose up my head to see if there was anything to help out what kind of place I was in. As I open my eyes I see the butler still in the room with his closed eyes holding back until the last step was heard out from the room. I await for him to open his eyes, and say something but then he says "Lady, will you allow me to heal your wound," his voice sounded young to me, so ask him "Sir ,what's your age"

"I'm 24, miss."

Weird. He sounded like he was young.  "Yes...Heal my wound," he took my right arm, and *POP* he twisted the arm where it was supposed to and drew a pentagram on my hand then kissed it. The pentagram started to glow in a bright purple and then my arm was fixed! I was surprised. I thought he would've just put a cast on my arm or something... After he fixed my arm only was left a big scar that surrounded the area of the now not broken arm. The butler then said "Lady, you must have forgotten about me, please record in your journal to not forget this day," his eyes now open, and were a beautiful purple, just like the pentagram. What did he mean? Do I have memory loss? He notices my confusion "Every day you lose your memories, so you keep a journal to know of what happens in your life...Azaleas life." I take the journal that is placed on the bedside table and start flipping through the pages. Suddenly a gust of all of the memories of this life of 'Azalea' came flowing in. I close the book, and ask the butler for a locket and a key... The knowledge that that 'journal' possess is the key to my way of the afterlife.

The butler leaves, and only a second later came back for what I've asked for. I quickly put the locket on the book, and place it in a drawer.

*Phew* I expressed. The butler then took my expression as a chance to leave. I then landed back into "my" bed. The bed seemed hollow to me, so I raised up and lifted the hatch of the bed. Underneath came a snake. It was a stunning brown color. I didn't want to mess around with the snake, so I had looked more deeply into the hatch. The hatch had a bunch of stairs. I reminded myself as what my goal was, so I decided to venture the stairs.

A few minutes later I was at the bottom of my estate. Light comes into place. I cover my eyes with hand to stop the light. After a few seconds, the light is gone. Leaves brush against me as I take my hand away. The I get a view of the forest, was simply stunning. The trees and bushes all around were so well kept, but when I turn around to see the estate I was in...It wasn't an estate but a tower far from the real estate. That explains the staircase, but why was it there? Oh well, no need to question it. As long as it's there I can make my escape, I just need that book...
