Chapter 2.5: Controlling Telepathy

"Hey, Eri do you think there is a way that we can control our telepathy so it's not always active?"

While Fana and I had spent our lunchtime on the roof she started thinking about if there was a way to control our telepathy.

"You didn't figure out how to do that yet?" I could hardly hold in my laughter.

"Wait! Eri you figured it out and really didn't tell me?" Fana clasped my hand and pouted.

"Yeah, it's not that hard at all actually..." I blushed and twirled my black hair with my free hand.

"Well then will you teach me them?" Fana's excited face glowed like a puppy and made me want to pet her.

"Sure, all you have to do is sever the magical flow to your horn," I said sighing and wiggling my hand out of her grasp.

After practicing it for about 10 minutes Fana figured out how to do it. Though on the battlefield it could prove to be an asset to be able to communicate without having to speak to each other. Of course, having it around for basic conversations makes life impossible with her acting this cute.

"Thanks for helping me out as always Eri, but,"

"Sometimes It does just feel right to talk to you like this" I heard her thoughts making me blush with embarrassment.

"You truly are such a weirdo y-know."

"Can I be your weirdo?"

"Don't get ahead of yourself, idiot."

They both decided that they would still communicate with telepathy sometimes.
