The Dark Night

On the night of a winter where a happy family was residing, some unknown men entered and began threatening the father. No one was able to understand the words but one thing was sure, the situation was critical and he was in danger. Smiley faces turned into horror and scared ones. In this lonely night, something tragic was going to happen. 

Suddenly, the sound of gunshots filled the air, followed by the shrill screams of a young boy. Five-year-old Austin watched in horror as his entire family was shot and murdered before his eyes. He was the only one who survived the brutal attack, and he was left alone in the world with nothing but the memories of the nightmare that had taken his family away.

After the tragic incident, he gathered the courage to call the cops, they arrived a few hours later. All those hours, he cried, he didn't stop, not for a second. Thinking why he was the only one who survived the attack. 

"Mommy, please, wake up. I'm hungry. Why are you bleeding, what's wrong?! Mommy can't you hear me!! Wake up, talk to me! See, daddy's bleeding too and I don't have the courage to see his face mommy. He's covered in blood! Help me mommy, I'm scared, I really am scared!!"

He cried, cried and cried. No one could hear his single words. The murderers left him alone, with his suffering. His father, mother and his 1 year older brother, who died saving him, all were right before his eyes, but no one could reply to his horror. No one could help him. Living in such a tragic atmosphere, he couldn't control himself and left the place silently, without letting the cops know. The darkness outside, was lighter than the darkness he saw inside the house.
