Irony High: How I Ended Up at an All-Girls School

The last class of the day was 4th Dimensional Theory 4D. This was a theoretical class, that explored the concept of the 4th dimension.

The class tried to explain why the existence of other dimensions was necessary in order for the world around us to work properly. The idea behind this being that our world is comprised of four dimensions— three spatial dimensions (length, width, and height) and one temporal dimension (time). The running theory was that time folded in on its self acrost all the spatial dimensions. If we could access these "folds" a object could potentially travel great distances, in a very short amount of relative time. These folds were known as the tesseract or hypercube. By traveling into the fourth dimension we would be able to fold back upon ourselves.

This concept, was difficult for even the AI to wrap its mind around, but this study is essential for the development of transportation technology.

In order to reach this point however, we first need to prove that there are more than three physical dimensions. So far no one has managed to prove it exists outside of mathematics and theoretical physics. The second part of this class will also teach students how to visualize higher dimensions by using fractals and the Mandelbrot set.

While Haruka seemed to grasp these ideas and their relation to her course— it was still lost on Sora, even after it was explained in layman's terms.

The class was long and it made everyone's head hurt.

"This is tough..." Sora groaned, slouching in his desk. His eyes were closed, while he rubbed them with both hands. He looked like he was about ready to fall asleep.

Everyone else seemed more or less bored with their studies too— One girl had fallen asleep on top of some books piled on top of another girl's desk... A boy had fallen asleep on his desk with his head propped up against his textbook with his arm hanging off like some kind of drooling zombie.

Noticing the class is done, the AI teacher decided to end the lecture for the day. It dismissed the class.
