Seiji stares at the massive explosion for a second as people come out of their homes to see what happened. Seiji runs away frightened and tired to his home. When he's inside his house he slams his front door frantically panting.
"What the hell was that!? Am I... A stringer..? This can't be.. my life is pretty much over... How do I tell my-" He's interrupted by his mother Suki Bushida. "Seiji-kun!? What happened are you hurt!?"
"Mom... I'm okay I promise. I just got a little hurt but I'm okay." Seiji declares.
"Okay I'll take your word for it. Everyone else is at the dinner table so join us okay?" Suki retorts. "Okay. I'm coming." He then sits at the table and ponders what happened. "I can't tell anyone in my family. I'll get disowned so I'll stay silent for now. I'll just make sure nothing looks wrong." Seiji thinks.
"Seiji, did ya hear about that loud explosion of fireworks that happens recently? I swear.. kids these days don't even care about those around them." Ren Bushida asks.
Seiji laughs it off worridly. "May I be excused? I need a breather." Seiji asks. "Oh, sure! Go ahead!" Suki replies. Seiji goes up into his room. He opens his laptop to look up Akui's name. "He's a pretty famous murderer. Weird. But I can't shake this feeling..." Seiji thinks.
He glances at a line in an article. "The mass murderer Akui is linked to a cultist group." He slams his fist onto the bed. "BOOM! Holy shit. That's what he meant when he said others... What's the name of this organization anyways?"
After a quick search he finds out the name of the organization. "The Serpents? What a stupid name for a group of murdering cultists.." At the same time, he shuts his laptop and thinks. "What the hell was that attack I used though? Starlight Arrow? That's embarrassing but cool I guess. I wonder if I can do that again. I don't even know WHY I said that.. It's just like I knew from the depths of my soul.. Oh well, guess I'll sleep for now."
As Seiji falls asleep in his quiet room, he stares at the ceiling. "I wonder what will change now..?" And he finally falls asleep. The next morning he wakes up and is greeted by his brother Hitoshi.
"Hey, dumbass! It's time for school. You got a long day." Hitoshi exclaims. "Yeah yeah... I get it, I get it, I'm up." Seiji replies. Then he gets dressed and says goodbye to his sister Tsubaki. On his way to school, he passes by the stairs where he first manifested his powers and reflects on that day. "It was probably just in my imagination. I should forget about it I guess." He thinks.
On the way, he meets his two friends. "Hey? Haruto, Saran! How's it going?" Seiji exclaims."It's going alright?" Haruto responds. "I definitely exist today, does that count?" Saran answers. "I don't think so.." Seiji retorts. "Anyways, Seiji you hear about that massive explosion above in the sky? I was there at first glance and it was amazing! I wonder what that was!?" Haruto admits.
"Yeah, crazy isn't it..?" Seiji laughs. "So I guess it wasn't in my imagination huh...? Fuck me.. This isn't gonna be good."
Haruto, Saran, and Seiji walk to school together with the snow crunching under them. while they're in class Seiji looks towards the building opposite his school and sees a figure standing atop it. And as he focuses for a better look the figure disappears and the windows of his class shatter in an instant and everything and one is thrown around the room.
The final shot is Seiji on the floor staring at the figure of a man in a black and white coat with a serpent crest standing where the window once was.
