I Forgot

Next morning I woke up late as it was weakened. Rain had subsided a long time ago and sun was shining in the sky. After doing my morning necessities I went downstairs. There was no one present in the dining area.

<Hmm.... where did everyone go? I mean where my brothers went?>

I searched everywhere but there was no one. As I was wondering this I heard some noises coming from the garden.

Curious, I went to see what it was. The garden is located at the back of our house so I had to pass through the hallway to reach there. Different kinds of flowers, fruit plants and even vegetables are planted there. Nanao planted them. He likes gardening and it's also related to his ability. It's called 'Nature's Touch'. He can grow any type of plants anywhere and anytime. The only condition, to activate is to have a few seeds on you. In just five seconds your enemies would be trapped in an endless maze of vines and plants. Pretty good ability I would say.

When I reached there I found Satome, our maid crouching in front of the flower beds. There were some wooden planks and iron nails scattered around her. I approached her, wondering what she would be doing.

“Satome?"

“Ah! Young miss, what are you doing here?”

She jerked at my voice.

I pricked my brows, “That’s my question. What were you doing?” She looked at me and smiled.

“I was just... just making a house."

Ha! A house? But don't we have a house and how is she going to make one? Sensing my puzzlement she explained,

"Actually I was making a house for the dog....Ah, for Brownie."

<I see, that explains it.>

“But can't Brownie live with Waltz? Inside our house?"

She shook her, “That won't be possible."

“I understand."

It's better to leave matters like this to her as she is more experienced. She probably knows more than I do, anyway.

"By the way, do you know where they are?"

“They? Ah...Young master Nanao went out and Young master Haruka might be in Study room," She hurriedly added,

” You should also go inside, I'll make something for you to eat."

“Alright."

After breakfast I searched for my Phone. I have a feeling that I am forgetting something. Something really important, but I can't remember what it is.

<'Hmm... where is it? Ah there!'>

There were sixteen missed calls and some messages from someone. Thinking who might it be I opened my chats. And it struck me like lightening.

< I remember now! I had to meet my friends today!>

“The time!? What time is it?"

The clock showed fifty minutes past nine in the morning.

"Ahhh!! I have to hurry!” I grumbled loudly. I rushed to my room. I bumped in to Haruka in a hurry.

"Whoa! What happened Sis?” Haru looked at me, puzzled." What did you forget this time?"

“Out my way, I have to hurry! And how did you know I forgot something?” He gave me ' isn't it obvious ' look.

“Ah.... fine!"

I tried to get ready as soon and as simple as possible. I wore a round neck white colored blouse and knee length Gray skirt, matching with a pair of flat sandals. My shoulder length black hair tied in a ponytail. I wore my eye lenses, giving my purple eyes a glow. I took a last glance at myself in the mirror.

‘Perfect!' I thought.

I arrived at the designated place in 30 minutes. And they were, my friends.

‘I am fifteen minutes late though.... here goes nothing.'
