Chapter 29:

I am back

Dreams of Reality

11th November 2456

I hate coming to school after being sick and having to catch up with others. Especially writing all the notes they wrote when I was gone. I get why I must do it, but it always takes me weeks to finish it because I just can't bring myself to do it. And no one gives me a test from the stuff when I was gone, but every teacher checks our notebooks.

The worst part, when this happens, is asking someone willing to give me their notebooks. Thankfully the teacher does this instead of you most of the time, but sometimes no one reacts and then you have to go and ask personally. That's when it gets annoying.

I must say that I got very lucky because when Shara heard that I must catch up with my notes, she gladly offered hers. That's the first time I was really happy that I am her friend because even looking at Alan's notes is a punishment on its own. His handwriting is horrible, and he's the type of person who draws random ugly things all over the books. It's not even a drawing, he is just wasting the ink of the pen.

I guess some people can't sit still for a few minutes without doing anything. It feels nice when small things like this come together and brighten your day.

There is one thing I am thinking about. Today when I was in school, there was something in the air. I think something happened between Alan and Shara. I haven't asked yet, but something was off. I don't know if I want to dig into it though. Maybe he made his first move when I was gone. I wonder why he didn't do anything when I was in school...
