13 SOULS

Demon realm, a place surrounded by a dark red-ish sun that always looks like it shall set, but only does once a year. But eventhough the slight darkness engulfs all of it’s land, it’s world is full of life, so full that from a quick glance it might even remind of earth, with it’s rising economy and structure, city with tall skyscrapers, filled with various advertisment, a world built on modern technology. But the longer you look the more differences you’ll see that make it differ. For example the various large dragons and beasts alike, flying above the tall buildings of the city, serving as transportation or simply they can be citizens, that are both walking to or from work, each looking human-like, but also having body or facial characteristics seen nowhere else, but here. Would it be one eye or a hundred, one mouth or a thousand, these characteristics can only be described as a demon’s. And over all of them only one governs and that is the demon king. The ultimate being that not only has the knowledge of many, but strength aswell and governing from his main headquaters, where all are judged equally. At the top floor on the end of the hallway the main king’s office is located, where a conversation unfolds - “Master, most of the preparations are done and soon we’ll be ready.” says the eyepatched skeleton. “Good...Now we just need to wait a little longer..” stands by his desk and picks up a twofaced mask “and get the last piece of the puzzle...” Suddenly the skeleton interrupts – “But Master, we still don’t know it’s whereabouts!” The king sits down by his desk and opens the police archive looking at a description of a 18 year old human in Tokyo and an earthquake starts to unfold – “Well then I suggest you do a better job, or else I’ll send you and your hideous servants back to the lowest pits of hell, where you came from.” Scared from the sheer presence, the skeleton answers: “Yes Master, I’ll see that it is done.” With the king answering – “I hope so, since we don’t have the luxury of time and we need to be ready as soon as possible.” The skeleton turns around to the exit and opens the door while the king gives the final warning “Don’t forget that Ozuru.” And Ozuru exits saying - “Yes, Master.” – dissappearing like a burning shadow.
