Chapter 0:
Hero Of Eternity
Agh, another day of work. All the same routine, all the same... On my way to work, the clock struck eight. A teenage girl fell, and... I opened my eyes. Huh? The train's here.
Life went by like a routine.. Waking up, going to work... I rarely saw happiness in this world anymore. Then again, the clock struck eight. The train was coming and that same teenage girl was falling but... 'Is she going to die?' My mind was racing with thoughts. I couldn't think, so instead, I ran. And I ran. And I saved her..?
I think?
I saw a flash of green, and before me, a beautiful red-haired girl stood. "Hey idiot." She laughed "Uhm... Hey?" I was wondering why she felt the need to call names so quickly. "So uh... is the girl alive?" I asked her, shaking in terror, but also relieved I might have saved someone. "Alive? The girl was a delusion, idiot. You killed yourself."
I stood there, with my mouth wide open, and I asked "So um.. I didn't.. Save... Anyone?"
She laughed as loud as she possibly could, "NO! You just ran in to that train like an idiot!"
"Anyways, I'm going to need your name."
Why'd she need my name? I didn't know where I currently was... Or... Who she was for that matter. "Lucius. Lucius Moone, ma'am!"
"Alrighty then! Let's get you on your merry way"
"The next thing I remembered... Was waking up in this field and you attacking me for 'infiltration of private property'"
The strange girl laughed, "I don't believe you for a second mister! A meeting with the goddess Pyro herself? I think you've been hit too hard on the head by a monster!"
I couldn't grasp my head around what she just said. 'Goddess?' 'Monster?' What does she mean?
My head started hurting and before I knew it, everything went black again.
