Kunie Village: Beastmen Territory. A new spring begins in the small village. The sun gleaned through the trees after a fresh rain. The farmers tended the wheat, the vegetables, and collected water. Children went to the nearby river to fish as the mothers tended to the smaller kids. 2 farmers noticed the bushes rustling and the tree branches cracking. “You hear that Hud?” said the farmer. They look closer holding up their tools. Suddenly 2 figures jumped from the shrubs grabbing both farmers by the neck, dragging them across the floor and tossing them in different areas. Shocked and frightened, the villagers gathered. 2 more figures emerged from the woods making a total of 4. One stepped to the front. “Who is the strongest?” the figure said in a booming, almost robotic voice. The villagers looked confused. The figure looked around once more. “Who is the strongest?” A man stepped from the crowd with a mohawk, shirtless, with teeth for a necklace, a cloth around his waist, and had a tomahawk on his back. He approached the gold figures who looked down at him. “Are you the strongest?” the figure said. The man looked up. “I am. What is your business here?” the man said. The golden figure stepped aside. “The general wishes to speak with you.” All 4 of the figures step aside and bow. A large caped man emerged from the woods. He wore expensive clothes, a hat with a strange emblem, had 2 scars down his face, and had a strange weapon by his waist. He stopped just after passing the figures. “Greetings, I am Hisao, General of the Zangan Legion.” His voice was graceful but stern. “I am Chief Dodan Zamore of Kunie Village.” Hisao grinned “Greetings Dodan Zamore of Kunie. In the name of Lord Beelzebub of Limbo, I am here to take your village. Will you fight, or surrender peacefully?” Hisao said in a collected, unfazed manner. “You have killed civilians on neutral soil, for that you will pay the price.” Dodan placed a hand on his weapon. “I take it you will fight, you will have 3 chances, now draw your weapon.” Dodan grabs the axe from his back. “Body enhancement, Level 2: IronClad!” Dodan’s body glowed with an orange aura. “Begin,” yelled Hisao. The golden figures jumped back as Hisao stood with all his grace in toe, Dodan charged forward and swung but Hisao moved aside. “Sloppy swing, try again,” he said. “Mirage!” Dodan shouted as he ran around Hisao. Suddenly clone-like images began to appear around Hisao as he stared unconcerned. One sprung forward Hisao dodged, and another, soon multiple, began taking swings as he ducked and dodged each and every one of them. Hisao dusted the dirt from his shirt. “How could he dodge them so easily?” Dodan thought to himself. “This is the blow that will decide it all! COME FORTH GREAT STAR OF SLASHING WIND!” His axe glowed a shining blue and he launched forward kicking the dirt. He swung over his head down on Hisao’s head. “PEGASUS!” The ax made contact as a loud clang could be heard. As the dust cleared, shock on everyone’s face. The axe made contact with nothing as Hisao was pushing it without making contact. Dodan jumped back and landed where he started. “That makes 3.” Hisao said with a smirk. “This isn’t possible, this can’t be” Dodan fell to his knees hopeless. “Things in life are impossible sometimes” Hisao put out one hand, and with one wave he pulled Dodan toward him and choked him “The thing is, I love the impossible” he whispered. And with that he snapped Dodan’s neck, throwing his body to the floor. “Anyone else up to it” He looked around at the crowd as they looked at their lifeless hero. The look in their eyes gave him his answer. “Round up the civilians, surround the village perimeter, allow no one to escape.” The gold figures disappeared back into the woods. Marching could be heard from the woods. A military force soon marched from the woods holding flags with the symbol of the Zangan Legion as the villagers fled in terror. The first village has fallen, the Demon War has begun.
