About the academy

"Where do I begin." Leah said as she sat on the0 bed with her hands clasped together.

"For a start,what is the school all about." Timmy said as he stood and watched Leah.

"It's a school for gifted people like me and you,it teaches us how to control our powers and trains us to fight against monsters. It is there that you can learn how to control and improve your abilities," Leah explained. "It's s a really good school."

"Do you attend it?" Timmy asked.

"Yes." Leah briefly replied.

"Than why were you attending marlin high?" Timmy asked.

"Well for special reasons." Leah said folding her hands and looking away.

"Oh." Timmy plainly said.

"Yeah." Leah said playing with her fingers.

"Should I go there." Timmy asked sitting on the bed next to Leah.

"Umm,well…" Leah stuttered before shifting a few inches away from Timmy."I think you should go there,you have the talent."

"Talent?." Timmy asked slowly.

"Yes," Leah replied."normally there would be a whole difficult process to get into the school but since the principal himself offered you a place in the school,all is well."

"I'll think about it." Timmy said.

"You should." Leah said standing up to leave.

"Leah." Timmy asked,his hands clasped together while he looked down at the floor.

"Yeah." Leah said turning around.

"Why did you attend the academy?" Timmy asked.

Leah stopped in her tracks. It looked like she never gave thought to that subject before.

Leah shrugged her shoulders and said,"I guess I just want to help people."

"Help people?" Timmy asked,his face was so straight and emotionless yet his eyes were full of curiosity."how?"

"The monsters hurt people,we stop them from hurting people. I want to help people by stopping the monsters." Leah said as she smiled.

She could see that that boy Timmy,his face may show no emotion,yet he's actions felt so sincere.

"I want to help people too. I don't want them to get hurt," Timmy said folding his hands. "So I am going to go to the academy and keep everyone safe."

"Well you should tell principal later," Leah said before she turned to leave."bye!"

She left the room and than Timmy said,ever so softly,"bye."

Leah walked down the hallway and wondered to herself.

"Why did I join the academy?"

The chairman sat outside the building in the balcony as he slipped his coffee. Than came someone to inform him that the boy by the name of Timmy has come to see him.

Chairman gave permission for him to enter. Timmy entered. 

"Greetings Timmy." The Chairman said greeting him."have you made up your mind?"

"Yes." Timmy said just standing there.

"Than are you ready to attend the academy or not?" Chairman asked.

"I am." Timmy said,he had made up his mind. He was going to protect the world.

"Are you sure?" The chairman asked while watching him closely."you'd be throwing away a chance of you ever experiencing peace again."

"Chairman." Timmy said. His eyes were first of seriousness.

"Yes?" The chairman asked taking another sip of coffee.

"Even if I sit here and do nothing because I want my life to be peaceful. There will be so many people getting hurt. I want to help them have peaceful lives too." Timmy said.

"Hmm," said the chairman interested."I'm glad you realise that Timmy. With your strength we will be able to help many people live peaceful lives. I'm glad you are willing to attend the academy."

Timmy simply nodded as he watched the chairman.

The chairman took the last sip of the coffee before saying to to Timmy,"come on here and sit."

He indicated to a seat across the table.

"Okay." Timmy Said sitting down.

"Coffee?" Chairman offered him.

"No thank you." Timmy said shaking his head.

Chairman nodded understandingly before asking Timmy,"do you know what the purpose of the academy is?"

"No," Timmy honestly replied."what is it?"

The chairman stared into the night as he said." It was made not just to produce world class reapers who could defend humans against the monsters but the academy it self was made to protect."

"It was?" Timmy asked.

"It was established almost a decade ago and I attended the very academy as a child. The academy is one of the best academies ever made." The chairman said as he clasped his hands together and rested his head on his arms.

"Than which is the best academy." Timmy asked staring across the table at the chairman.

"Red cross academy," The chairman said with a sigh."they have produced more than 20 S class reapers and every year produce no less than 100 A class reapers."

"What about your academy chairman?" Timmy asked.

"You aren't planning on ditching my academy for red cross academy are you Timmy?" The president said staring at Timmy suspiciously.

"No chairman,I wouldn't dare." Timmy surprised the chairman by saying.

"Why not?" The chairman asked curiously.

"Because I think you are the strongest person ever,and if I'm right than that means your academy is also the greatest academy ever," Timmy said before asking."Is my Intuition incorrect chairman?"

"In a way yes," the chairman said surprised at the thinking of Timmy. He was simple minded,and pretty straightforward. "I may be the strongest reaper around today but there is somebody who was much more powerful than me."

"Was?" Timmy asked."where is he now?"

"Nobody knows," The chairman said as he smiled mysteriously. "Back than He could defeat up 10 of me with his little finger. I wonder about now."

Timmy had never met many reapers but he could somewhat sense how powerful some of them were.

Neale and fin were about as strong as A rank but Neale was the stronger of the two. Sasha was A rank but was much more powerful than the twins.

The chairman was the most powerful. His ability was scary. Timmy couldn't determine exactly how strong he was but knew that He was above S rank.

Timmy could not believe there was somebody so much more powerful than the chairman even though the chairman said "back than" he could have been pretty powerful than. Timmy could just leave everything to his imagination.

"He must be scary." Said Timmy while seeming completely unafraid.

"Your expression leaves me unconvinced," the chairman joked and let out a laugh before saying."our academy has produced 12 S class rankers before and we produce around 20-30 A class reapers every year."

"12 S class reapers including you?" Timmy asked looking at the chairman.

"No," the chairman said and as he looked back at Timmy his eyes showed a glint of light.

"I'm a legend class reaper."

"Legend class?" Timmy asked as he thought to himself. That must be the rank above S class.

"Yes it's the rank above S class." The chairman said.

"How many more are there." Timmy asked the chairman.

"Four" the chairman said indicating with his fingers.

Four?" Timmy asked as he looked at the professor.

"There were 5 in the world but 1 of them disappeared and now there are 4." The chairman said lowering one finger.

"Was it him?" Timmy asked remembering the powerful man the chairman mentioned.

"Yes." The chairman said. " There's one in tiger academy. Another in the international academy of reapers and the final one in the dragons academy."

Timmy was about to ask the chairman another question when a woman knocked on the door leading out to the balcony and came out saying."Chairman,I'm afraid it's time to leave."

The chairman sighed and stood up,he walked towards the door but before he left he turned towards Timmy and said,"Sasha will take you back to collect your belongings. We'll sort out everything with your parents and the school and by tomorrow evening you'll be taken to the academy."

He was about to leave when he said his last words to Timmy.

"Good luck, I hope you may accomplish your goal."

Timmy could just nod as he watched the chairman leave. But Timmy couldn't help but feel that there was much more to the Chairman than he knew.

"Hey kiddo." Sasha said entering. "Get changed,we heading to your place to collect your things."

"Okay." Timmy said standing up.

Sasha handed him a change of clothes,a pair of black pants and a shirt.

Timmy went into his room and changed before heading out with Sasha. Sasha drove a car right in front of the apartment that Timmy resided in. Sasha followed Timmy in to collect his belongings.

Timmy simply took out his clothes and shoved it into his suitcase and took a few necassary accessories and out it in his backpack. This was the spare bag that he had,his other one had gotten lost at school.

Timmy looked up from packing and saw the mirror,the mirror that was the beginning of everything.

"It all feels like it happened yesterday." Jago suddenly said from within Timmys mind.

"It was 2 days ago,After all",Timmy said. He had regained consciousness about 6pm the day and spoke to the chairman around 8pm. Now it was around midnight.

"Are you done kiddo?" Sasha asked coming from the bathroom. She said that she had wanted to fix her lenses.

"Yes", Timmy said standing up.

"Your bathroom is real creepy. I can't believe you sleep here alone, I'd never make it here." Sasha said as she picked up Timmy's massive suitcase like it weighed nothing.

"Did you fix your lenses?" Timmy asked Sasha.

"Yep,now let's get going." Sasha said impatiently.

Timmy took one last look at the mirror before he walked out of the apartment. From thereon afterwards,he knew he had started a new life.

It was a whole new journey.

But at least he had a goal now.
