Chapter 1:
Just Appeared in a Two-Sun World With No Plan.
On my left hand is my phone, and on my right hand is a brush. A trade painter’s type of brush you get at the hardware store, the widest I can buy. It still has the blue paint and it’s now dripping on the green grass.
I’m surrounded by a forest. The trees are not as dense and the ground is flat. I can see the sky if I look up.
“Two suns.” Not the one I was used to.
It looks like im hallucinating. I’m not hungry or thirsty, so I probably got bitten by a bug.
I probably got bitten by the bug on the way here, the path that goes by the creek.
I really should’ve just not done anything today.
I started moving, my legs are getting too stiff.
Now, if the rules are still the same, then I should walk downhill and look for a stream to find someone who lives here.
I traced the path of where I think I came from.
The creek is still here. Does that mean the topography stayed the same? What else stayed the same?
A gentle breeze comes by and sways the trees. I concentrate on the cool temperature and the ambient sound. I slow down my pace.
