I put down my headset as the game finished.

"Phew~ That last round was so intense. Clutch against four people in the same time is no joke. My hand are still trembling right now."

I got up from my chair and opened the curtains. The morning sun penetrated straight into my sleepy eyes. I opened the sliding window to let some air in.

I turned my head when I heard my phone ringing. There was incoming message from an app called Discard and the sender was the guild leader from one of the RPG games I played.

"Have you awake?" asked the message.

Let alone awake, I didn't even sleep last night.

Today is Sunday, a holiday, which mean last night was a sacred time for gamers. Like any gamer, I make the best of my time to make a big progress in the games I played. Last night, I finally reached Diamond rank in an FPS game called Valorun.

"What's up, GuildMaster?"

"Yesterday we just got a new member. It seems that this new player is unfamiliar with online games. So, I would like to ask you to guide this newcomer how to play."

....Huh? I said a little annoyed.

"Why me? There are still many other players you can ask for help."

"There is no player with better understanding about the game than you. So I think you are the most suitable person to ask for."

"Not a chance. I didn't even close my eyes last night so I'm sleepy as hell right now."

"It's fine. It's not like she's playing right now. You can go get some rest and I will tell you when she logging in."

"'She'? Is this newbie is a girl?"

"Just me guessing. She is senpai of my little sister, so I just assume it as a woman."

I frowned. I'm still not convinced to help this new kid. Teaching beginners is more of a hassle than it's worth.

"I'll pass. Just ask other member to help."

Just as I was about to put my phone down, GuildMaster sent something that was quite tempting.

"Are you sure? If you willing to help our new member, you can choose what boss we will subjugate in the next weekly boss attempt."

My eyes widened. Are you kidding me right now?

I really want that gemstone from the dragon boss loot drop. With that material, I will finally be able to finish building my equipment.

Being a boss really is convenient. When you need something, you can just ask your subordinate to do it just like this. It's an offer you can only make when you are the leader.

"Is this real? No scam?"

I gulped. Currently, my story progress in that game is stuck due to the mobs getting irrationally strong. But with the upgraded weapon, I will be able to proceed after a long time.
