Chapter 8:

A New Planet

The Stars in a New World

Months go by as Ursula and I continued our nightly bonding sessions. I told her everything from my past world without mentioning what I was talking was a different world.

We had named the nebula that was spanding across the entire sky 'The Great Light' considering it was the only thing in the night sky. I believed there wasn't a moon until Ursula told me about a massive spherical object that shows up every 10 years and dissappears for 10 years. And from what she told me, the sun disappears 5 years after the object dissappears. And then 5 years after it reappears it turns completely red.

"Sounds like it's not just a moon. It's an entire other planet." I said

"Another planet? Does that mean I get to name it?" Ursula said with excitement in her voice. I had promised her that the next planet we find, she'd name it.

"Sure go ahead." I replied to her. She thought for a moment and sat on my bed. Her dress was a baby blue silk going down to her knees. Her hair flowing in the wind in a vibrant green. Her skin pale in the night light. It faintly revealed her green eyes.

"Pollux." She said. "I'll name it Pollux." It took me a second to realize what she said.

"I like that name. When Pollux comes back out. We'll greet it with open arms." I stated like I was announcing. Ursula giggled.

"I'm glad you taught me these things Teddy. The world seems so much more fun." She smiled at me from the bed. "Come here" she patted on the bed next to her. I walked towards her as I sat where she pat. Suddenly I feel a touch on my cheek. Ursula had kissed my cheek.
