the big day part 1

Mikawa comes over to me looking exhausted. “ please get me out of here it’s torture!” she says before flopping down onto a nearby bench.” How are you so calm ken? Really I'm dying!” I start laughing because it’s true the first day is the most exhausting one.

“ How many more scenes do you have left?” she sighs and looks down at the ground.

“ I still have six. I only agreed because I thought it was a background role.” She sighs again and looks at me with pleading eyes. “ A-and the director said he’d sue me if I didn’t complete this job. I have no idea what to do.” Yeah it sounds like the director but she really has no idea what to do.

“ Mikawa no Akane come with me I’ll help you oh but you have to put on this blindfold!” She looks up at me coldly but then she's surprised by a tap on the shoulder and screams.

“ Yo, where are we going? Oh what’s your name I saw your last scene ” said Mio smiling she then whispers to me. “ How do you deal with that manager I only wanted a one shoot deal but she wouldn’t stop until I started singing up for years she got me for ten!” I start laughing.

“ Me to actually worse, I was scouted. I thought it would be fun so I wanted to only do one but she wouldn’t accept it and I had to sign on for 15 years! But atleast I get to choose when I want to do a shoot and she helped me get here so I’m glad I have her.” Now that I think about it Akane doesn't have a manager I smirk. “ Manager, I have a new client for you!” I shout the next minute my manager is there.

“ Hey is it alright to have someone like her deal with the manager she’ll end up selling off her entire life.” True the manager does have a sense of weakness but this is what she needs. It'll give her a needed confidence boost knowing that two people that deal with talent think she can make it in the industry.

“ Yeah it’s the confidence boost she needs after this. Let's go out and celebrate being vic- no members of our manager's clientele.” I say smiling at Mio. Yeah this might be a little hard for Akane but it won’t kill her at least. A minute later my manager skipped away smiling and humming which is very uncommon for her. “ So how long did you sign on for Akane?” I ask her. Sheslowly and weakly lifts up her hands and puts up nine fingers. “ That’s great we all have around ten years left on the contract, how about we celebrate!”

“Celebrate what exactly we’ve sold our freedom-” Before she can finish Mio interrupts her.

“ Come on, we're still young right now, I’m Mio Takushita. What's your name?”

“ Oh me. I am Akane Mikawa. It is very nice to meet you, sorry that was too formal. It's nice to meet you.” Oh there it is, she's trying to relax. The second version sounded very good. It was the perfect balance for her.” Perhaps we could grab a meal if you both really want to celebrate that much. I wouldn't mind joining you.” She says looking drained.

“ A meal is good afterwards we can go well you’ll see.” I say laughing but then I suddenly feel a tap on the shoulder.

“ What does the little pup plan to do with two girls? Wait, don’t tell me you need money and you're going to sell them!” Ai said sarcastically laughing out loud she then moves her hand and there’s a wad of gum on my shoulder. “ Have fun with that.” she said laughing as she walked away. I try yanking off the gum and luckily it just comes off but It leaves a wet spot on my shirt.

“ Hey my shirt is ruined, well I can still wear it but she can’t get away with this!” I ran outside to try to talk to Ai about it. She moved surprisingly fast and was already across the street. “ Stop right there Ai!” but she didn’t hear me. The traffic light just turned green so I wasn’t able to cross the road in time. Suddenly she was thrown in the back of a white 2019 Subaru outback. “ AI!” The Outback sped off too fast for me to chase Akane and Mio came outside a second later.

“ What happened where is she?” they both said loudly.

“ Well it’s bad she was kidnapped, get the director and catch up to me just take a right turn and you’ll probably see me.”

without another world the light changed to red and I sprinted across the street. The Outback was stopped at the red light up ahead but the second I got across the street the light was green. The first car a white 2001 Toyota Cresta sped off, then a black 2023 Nissan Altima stopped to give the Cresta a few seconds then it sped off. I was almost to the Subaru as the light was turning yellow but it turned before I could touch it so I dove and clung onto the back. My feet landed on the hood of the car behind it and sprang forward onto the roof of the Outback. I glanced back to see the director's car at the light as it turned red.

 I clung tight onto the roof of the Outback trying to stay calm and form a plan to save Ai. I don't think I can fight off the kidnappers but. That’s it I don’t have to fight them I just have to stall until the director catches up to us! The Outback drove for another 20 minutes before pulling up to a house luckily we stopped because my arms started tiring out. If we drove any longer I might have fallen off. I quickly roll off the roof and dive into the bushes. “ Get out of the car now bitch!” I heard a loud feminine voice scream and Ai scurried out of the trunk. Then the kidnappers recognized one of the kidnappers as Ai’s manager. I quickly sent my location to Akane and Mio.

“ Stop it, why would you do this Emi!” Emi is Ai’s manager. She is the exact opposite of my manager. She's usually kind. She has shiny auburn hair,one emerald green eye and one baby blue eye.

“ Because she drives me crazy I’d much rather have someone like you ken.”
