The Escape and Burn

Moon lands on the bush. After piecing himself together. He runs away. He plans to skip the rest of the day. Moon goes to the place he found the crystal from yesterday.

To his surprise, something else was there. It was a chest. Moon opens the chest. In this chest was blood in a jar. He reacts to the blood and so does the blood. The blood in the jar sticks to the jar like it wants to touch him. A man appears from the shadows and says “That is Demon blood.” 

Moon says “Demon blood?” The man says “I am Aku no.” 

Moon took a look at this man named Aku no. He feel a bit intimidated by the fact that he was taller than Moon. Moon looked at his long black hair and looked at his cold and dead eyes. His eyes were even darker than his hair. This man seemed emotionless like he had never laughed before. The school outcast that was Moon even felt that this man was weird.

Moon replies “And what do you want?” Aku no says “Give me the demon blood.” Moon says “Demons don’t exist in our world.” Moon thought "This world only has Humans and animals. I did meet a talking crystal yesterday but my wish didn't even work. This man is just crazy."

 Aku no says “Humans and demons are alike but demons are real.” Moon asks “You're insane!" Aku no says "Maybe I am. Now hand it over!" Moon looks him in the eyes and says "No."

Aku no laughs and laughs. Moon thinks "I guess he has laughed before."

Aku no says “Drink… Drink it.” Moon says “What?"

Before Moon gets to say more. Aku no rushes to Moon and snatches the bottle and then forces it open. After opening it, he looks Moon in the eyes and grabs him by the head, and forces the blood down his mouth.

Moon coughs some of the blood and says "What the hell." Moon passes out. 

Aku no says “The goddess is right! This is starting to be fun.” Aku no takes Moon and disappears.

Moon dreams of a place that is completely black and white but in this space, the floor is black while the sky is white. Moon blinks and sees a completely black being with horns and a tail. The being speaks “I hate you! Die… Kill yourself…” Moon walks away from the being. After a bit of walking, it appears right in front of him. Moon turns again and there it is.

Moon looks at it and sees that they are multiplying. He sighs and says "What the hell." Moon looks up and sees something that completely shocks him. The sky is now the being.

Moon thinks back to the Demon blood and thinks "Is this a demon?" Moon hears the words "Yes!" all around him.

The demon begins to say "I hate you. I wish you just die! Why are you in my class?" Moon listens and remembers these words. The demon says more "Your brother Eclipse is a kendo and fencing gold medalist. Why can't you apply yourself more? Look at your little sister. Hikari is a track star with a promising future. Your whole family is going somewhere. What about you? What do you dream of?"

Moon thinks back and says "Yes I do remember these words. These are the words my teacher said to me before he decided to abandon me. He claimed I wasn't putting in the effort. He said I just waste his time."

The demon says "Yes and didn't someone overhear your conversation at a bad time?" 

Moon says "Your right. The teacher, mister Allen just kept rinsing me. He even talked about a topic he shouldn't have."

The demon asks "What was it again?"

Moon kept answering the demon's call.

He says "He talked about the fact that I was an orphan."

The demons all become one and form behind Moon. It points to a screen and it plays the memory.

The classroom was litten up by the declining sun. The sun was about to set in the empty classroom. Only Moon and Mister Allen were there. They are both at the board which is located at the front. This room had two exits and three windows.

Allen says "I have seen your recent test scores on the math. You have scored 50 out of 100." Moon says "I tried the best I could sir." Allen says "It's not good enough. Must give more than just your all if you want to be great in life. You have a well-off family."

Moon says "I do have a family but I am just not good with math." Allen says "Math? You're not gifted in any subject. So what are your excuses?" Moon says "I don't have any. I promise to try harder." Allen says "Promise? Promising me ain't going to fix your grade or make you better."

Moon asks "Why are you being this way?"

The teacher grabs a file from his stand. It has Moon's name on it. Allen opens it and reads. He says "Mister Moon ... I didn't know you were adopted. It also says you are related to Hikari and Eclipse. Your brother Eclipse is a kendo and fencing gold medalist."

Moon says "Yes I am related to them by adoption."

Allen nods and says "Hikari is the track star that made it to the finals for our city."

Moon says "Yes and I was in the stands that day supporting her with the rest of the family."

Allen says "Your family is filled with greatness and there is you. Compared to them you are just a gutter street rat. You are probably made from some drunkard and whore from the streets? Were you, a goose being picked up by a swan."

Moon was getting angry by his constant insults to him. Moon shouts "Stop being such a dick!"

Allen says "Such vulgar language. Did your deadbeat dad teach you that?"

Moon grabs Allen by the collar and says "Shut the hell up!"

Allen says "Look around and smell the roses. Your whole family is going somewhere. They are going to leave you behind."

Moon pushes him off and walks away. Allen says "What about you? What do you dream of?"

Moon opens the door and walks off. Daisy hears all of this by waiting by the door. On his way out he didn't see it.

The screen fades to black.

Moon says "It was her! She is the reason I started to be harassed and bullied everyday!"

The demon says "Do you want revenge?" Moon turns around and says "Yes, but I don't just want revenge but I want more. I want to make her suffer."

The demon says "Great then just shake my hand and you can have my power." Moon says "What do I give you?" The demon says "Nothing ... Just your body."

Moon hears a voice say "Don't give up now!" Moon feels like this voice is familiar. So familiar that it snaps him out of his trance-like state.

Moon shakes his head and says "What do you know about me demon?"

The being says “You don’t like being hated.” Moon says “Of course, I don’t. Every single person wants to be loved.” The being says “Well you've been hated since birth. That's why your parents abandoned you.” 

Moon replies “How the hell would you know anything about me?” The being says “I’m a demon and I can read you like a book. You are the most impure human ever.” Moon says “So what?” 

The being says “I want your body! I want to know what it is like to have a body.” Moon asks “Why?” The being says “I was born today. I want to live life like you humans do.” Moon says “This is my body! Get your own! Get the hell out!”

The being says “I can’t since you drank demon blood. We are stuck together forever.” The words forever begin to echo in his head.

This echo kept continuing so Moon tries to cover his ears. This echoing continued, as it felt like minutes, hours, and days. Moon felt himself going insane. So he starts bashing his head into the floor to somehow stop the noise but it kept going and going. Over and over again. The demon is still standing infront of him. Moon starts to cry and then shouts “Leave me alone!”

After he says that everything starts to change. The darkness of the space disappears and turns white. The echo stops. He picks his head up and sees Astro. Moon, overjoyed by seeing someone else, hugs her while crying his eyes out. 

She says “What is wrong with you?” Moon says “Why am I so hated?” Astro says “Humans are born to be hated. But if you can find someone who loves you everything will be alright!” Moon hugs her tighter and says “Am I born to be hated?” Astro puts on a smile and says “Of course” Moon asks “Why is that?” Moon backs off from her.

She says “How you humans are so gullible?” Astro turns into the demon. Everything goes back to what it was before. The being says “I didn’t know you would like me so much!” Moon quickly tries to run away. While running away the being says “No you don’t.” This causes Moon to fly back to the being. Moon floating back tries to punch and kick him but it goes through him. The being says “I will have what you have.” Moon finally gives in and decides to give up.

The familiar voice from before says "Let me in and I can help you." Moon says "I shouldn't give up just yet. I let you in!"

The voice  says “Purgatory’s chains bind together Heaven and Hell.” Moon looks up and sees a huge purple eye. Moon is left speechless. The being says “Holy scriptures. What a pain but they won’t be enough!” 

The voice says “Chains are the true paths to the future that may even cage a free bird. Cage this hell sought being.”

Chains form from the ground and grab the demon. Moon is released and falls to the ground. These chains seal his power. The being says “His despair will be my rebirth!” A broken silver sword without a hilt falls from the sky in front of Moon. The voice says “Moon grab it and pierce him in the heart!”

Moon gets up and grabs the sword. After he grabs the sword he rushes to pierce the demon's heart. This makes him disappear. Moon passes out after that.
