Worlds Apart

“Theres this cute girl in my class. No one can ever and I mean EVER outclass her.. shes hot, shes smart, shes fun and shes so damn wholesome. I could go on and on about her..”

*The silence is broken as a pencil tip breaking fills the room*

“Ah damn it..” *A boys voice says, his voice following the pencil tip*

*He looks up at the window, the moonlight reflecting off his black inky eyes, his deep metallic blue hair, it truly resonates with the night sky. A few seconds pass then a lamp light covering his desk, cuts to dark as its turned off.*

“Chisaki!!!”

*A female voice seems to be heard from the other side of the door*

“Foods ready! Its your favorite! Porkchops!”

*The voice seems to be cheerful and enthusiastic, as a chair can be heard being pushed into a desk.”

“Coming ma!”

*The dark lighting in the room gets interrupted by a bright glow, the door opens and the boy steps out*

“Ashikaga styled porkchops! You always love these!” *His mother says, a bright smile on her face, delighted to see her child.*

“Mmm…”

*Chisaki sits at the kitchen table*

“So… Mom.. can I ask you something? About.. love life?”

“Go ahead honey!”

*He hesitates, his voice hitching in his throat, but he manages to swallow it all down and take a deep breath*

“How do I tell a girl I like her.. like, a female best friend..”

*It wasnt easy, but he did manage to say whats on his mind.*

*2 arms wrap around the boy, its warm and calming… he feels like hes being hugged… hes at peace in his mothers arms*

“Oh Chisaki… Its okay if you dont talk to her, even if youre worlds apart. Just try to remain calm, and be yourself. Dont put on a weird act just to impress her, because thats not who shes falling for.. no she wants to fall in love with you. So be yourself.”

*His mother seemed to be knowledgeable about this topic, she smiles down at him.*

“Just try to approach her by being yourself, okay? Dont rush things Chisaki.”

*A hour passes.. it seems almost unreal on how fast time moves. Chisaki is now in his bed, covered by his blankets, the mattress sinking down from his weight, Chisaki blinks twice, the clock ticks as he stares up at the ceiling*

*Tick Tock. Tick Tock. Tick Tock.*

“Dont rush things..”

*His forearm goes over his forehead, as he closes his eyes, trying to get a goodnights sleep.*

“Even if were worlds apart.”

*He says these final words with a weak voice, as he falls into the calm trance of slumber, out of his mothers warm grasp*

*The next morning, Chisaki walks down a path in his school uniform, his bag straps holding onto his shoulder for support, he reaches the school gate, blending into the crowd as they enter the academy, suddenly a beautiful sway of auburn hair catches the eye of Chisaki, its so majestic it leaves him stumped and his legs no longer follow the commands his brain gives, she turns around and spots him, then she smiles and waves, her smile grasps Chisakis soul and wraps it in a warm embrace, she runs to him while waving her arms in an energetic way*

“Hi, Hi Hi Chisaki!!”

*The girl shouts, hyper and happy to see him*

“Hi Akiho!”

*Chisaki responds, smile on his face, a small rosy blush on his cheeks, a red tint slowly spreading around his face*

“So? Ready for class?”

“Not yet, follow me Chisaki.”

“Where are we going?”

“Youll see.”

*They walk through the crowd of students, and onto the rooftop*

“So…? Akiho, why are we here?”

*She looks up at Chisaki, leans in and slowly whispers in his ear*

“Youre not supposed to be here.”

*He looks at her in a confused manner, his facial expression portraying his confusion.*

“Huh?”

*Suddenly, he feels a force into his stomach, as he floats backward, and he sees his body there, being punched in the stomach by Akiho, its like his spirit has been punched out of his body, Astral Projecton. She looks up at the spirit*

“Go.”

*Chisaki closes his eyes as he feels weary and sleepy, then he wakes up, on the cold.. rough pavement, hes in a new set of clothes.. a white and blue overcoat with no buttons and the collar up, under the coat has a plain blue shirt, white pants with blue lines on the side, white and blue sneakers*

“Huh…?”

*His messy blue metallic hair slowly sways with the wind blowing past his body*

“Where am I?”

*He gets up, as he feels a pat on the back*

“Who are you?”

*The stranger says as Chisaki looks over his shoulder*

“Oh.. My name is Chisaki Ashikaga..”

*The stranger smirks, as he looks into his eyes*

“Youre the one im looking for.”
