‘All over the news’ would be an overstatement. However it was true that multiple small news outlets covered the story of a 28 year old woman kidnapping dogs. Although most dogs were returned safely, it was still a crime for the act.

The photo of the woman was shown, with her face blurred. The hair was purpley black, long enough to need to be put in a hair net if operating.

Without a doubt, it was Shihan’s tormentor. Shihan bit his lip, until it bled. She had practised kidnapping dogs just to get him to that room. Images of his own organs flashed in his mind, complemented with everything he endured in the room. The smells, the sounds, the sight. The aches, the throbs, the stinging. Her haunting smile. Her depraved smile. Her smile. Shihan shrunk himself into a ball to comfort himself.

‘Han.’

Shihan continued to shake.

‘Shihan. Get up’

Mahne’s cold tone with the addition of his gentle touch snapped Shihan from his trance.

‘You said you wanted to get back into filming immediately. How are you going to do that when you’re like this?’

Mahne sighed.

‘I contacted the director. He says we can start filming again on Tuesday.’

‘Thanks,’ Shihan wearily. ‘I’ll be fine by then.’
