The Race against time

Moon gets a call on his phone. He checks his phone and it's from Hikari. 

Moon is in a dark alleyway with only one light from a street light.

He thinks and feels like that call was important but still decides not to pick it up. He felt like he wasn’t ready to meet her yet. Moon declines the call to stop it from ringing.

Some time passes and Moon keeps walking till he comes across an old and worn-out couch. He decides to talk a seat. Moon was so tired and emotionally frustrated that once he had a second of rest he passes out.

Then his phone rings again but this time from a different number. This time Moon picks it up since it awoke him from his slumber. He hears some heavy breathing and screaming. Moon shouts “What the hell!”

A voice says “Hello again, Moon!” Moon replies “Who are you and what was that?” Moon feels like that voice was very familiar but can’t discern who it is. 

The voice says “I have your lovely sister with me and you have thirty minutes or I kill her.” Moon says “How can I believe your bullshit and who the fuck are you?”  The voice says “Believe me or not, just know that if she isn’t home by tomorrow, you know why.” Moon says “Ok, ok where are you?” 

The voice says “That's more like it. Continue making this fun for me.” Moon says “Stop wasting time!”

The voice says “Come to your school and come find us there.” The call hangs up. 

Moon shouts “Fuck!” 

He says “I’m an hour away from the school. How the hell will I be able to save her?” 

He thinks “Well he could be lying, but I can’t take that change.” Moon gives it his all to make it to the school.

While Moon is on his way, Aku no is sitting on a desk with Hikari, unconscious and tied up in a chair. Aku laughs and says “So far he is the only one. The only one who can cure my boredom. I never believed in god but Lady Astrus has opened my eyes.” 

Aku no opens a portal and reaches into it and grabs a briefcase. Aku no hums while closing the portal and opening the briefcase. Inside this case is a syringe of blood. Aku grabs this syringe and injects Hikari with it. 

This causes her body to jolt and twitch. Her veins become blood red and pop out. Hikari wakes up and screams in pain. Hikari starts crying from the pain. This causes Aku no to laugh. He enjoyed her screams and suffering. Aku no says “We need to move to the main course before I get too bored.”

Almost like it was on queue, Moon appears at the front of the school. Moon runs into the school and oddly enough it was unlocked. 

Moon was completely drained from running with all his might to the school. Moon runs around the bottom floor and doesn’t see a soul. It also doesn’t help that the whole school is dark with only a few lights on. 

This was one of the worse outcomes for him. Aku no gave him thirty minutes to get to Hikari and twenty minutes of them were used up just trying to get there. 

Moon was panicking from all the stress and no rest. 

He thought “If she isn’t here all my effort wouldn’t be worth it.” He came here grasping for straws even though it was his fault in the first place.

After clearing the first floor, he moves up to the next with only five minutes remaining. Moon thinks “I just want to give up. She isn’t here. This is all a prank.” 

Before Moon tries to go back down the stairs he hears a muffled scream. He can’t make out the voice but tries to investigate nonetheless. 

The voice leads him to the third floor, which is the last floor of the building. As he approaches closer to the room with the screams he feels a creepy sensation on his skin, the one where you feel as if you are being watched. He sees Hikari sitting in a chair so he hurriedly enters the room.
