Chapter 17 A New Challanger

Keeping Lumi's warning in mind, we cautiously approached the habitat of the Wrestling Raccoon. There, perched on a curved, thick tree branch, was the raccoon, leisurely enjoying his afternoon. He lay on his back, his head nestled against an upward-curving branch, hands behind his head, and legs crossed. A straw dangled from his mouth, his lips playfully toying with it.

Lumi's eyes lit up with delight as she pointed at the Wrestling Raccoon, speaking in a hushed tone, "Kazuki, look! There he is, the Wrestling Raccoon. Isn't he adorable? Just look at that beautiful, glistening fur, the lovely color, and those tiny black hands. Uwa wa, he's so cute!"

Intrigued, I looked closer, studying the raccoon before us. 

"Yes, indeed," I mused to myself, "He's undeniably a raccoon, just like the ones in my world. A cute little trash panda."

I turned to Lumi and nodded, a smile tugging at my lips. 

"Yes, Lumi, he is absolutely adorable."

Suddenly, our attention was drawn to the side as a rather chonker fat cat made its way towards the fence. We watched in fascination as the cat attempted to vault over it, only to struggle and hang, its paws dangling, unable to pull itself up. After a valiant effort, the cat eventually gave up and nonchalantly strolled around the obstacle as if nothing happened.

Lumi's eyes widened with excitement, and she couldn't contain her quiet shout, "Ahhhh! It's the Boss Cat!"

Curiosity piqued, I turned my gaze back to the swaggering cat. There was an air of confidence and authority in its demeanor, a true boss among cats. Its size and presence commanded attention, drawing both respect and curiosity. For some reason, his confident smug face irritated me.  

"Boss Cat?" I whispered, intrigued by Lumi's shout. "It would appear you know this cat. What can you tell me more about this Boss Cat?"

Lumi's face lit up with enthusiasm as she began to explain, "Oh, Kazuki, the Boss Cat is a legendary figure. It is said that he roams the streets, ensuring order among the feline population. The other cats bow in his presence, recognizing his authority. It's like he rules over a secret cat kingdom within Luminecia. He is the rival of the Wrestling Raccoon! I have a feeling that he came to claim the Wrestling champion title belt from the Wrestling Racoon."

I could hardly contain my laughter as I looked at Lumi's serious expression while she explained to me with utmost sincerity.

The Boss Cat approached the entrance to the Wrestling Raccoon habitat, emitting a low, rumbling purr. The raccoon stirred, slowly opening its eyes, which locked with the Boss Cat's gaze in a fierce staring contest. With a flick of his lips, the raccoon spat out the straw it had been chewing and gracefully leaped down from the branch.

Rising onto two legs, the raccoon stood tall, exuding an air of confidence as it swaggered out of its habitat with a power walk, its steps marked by an intimidating gait. The Boss Cat mirrored the raccoon's stance, also standing upright on two legs, their eyes locked in an intense confrontation as they stood face to face. 

Raccoon lifted his arm up and clicked his fingers.

Sensing the tension and excitement in the air, Lumi sprang into action. She darted towards the nearby bell. Securing a strap adorned with white and black stripes, symbolizing her role as the referee, Lumi fastened it around her hand. 

Taking hold of the bell, she rang it loudly, its resounding chime echoing through the habitat, capturing the attention of both wrestlers. The bell's resonant ring marked the beginning of the wrestling match between the Boss Cat and the Wrestling Raccoon. Lumi imitated the crowd erupting into cheers as the two fierce competitors locked eyes, their muscles primed for action.

Lumi, positioned at the side, couldn't contain her excitement. She leaned forward, her eyes shining with anticipation, ready to provide lively commentary for the intense battle before her.

"The Boss Cat and the Wrestling Raccoon meet in the ring, both eager to prove their strength and claim the champion's belt! The Boss Cat, known for its cunning tactics and slow reflexes because he's so chonker, faces off against the Wrestling Raccoon, a master of agility and unpredictable maneuvers. This promises to be an unforgettable clash!"

As the Boss Cat lunged forward with a powerful backhand chop, the Wrestling Raccoon evaded the attack, swiftly maneuvering around its opponent. Lumi's voice rang out, capturing the exhilaration of the moment.

 "Look at that agility! The Wrestling Raccoon dodges with such finesse, displaying its incredible reflexes! It's a fascinating display of skill!"

I looked at the scene shocked and without words, two animals are wrestling before my eyes. I was witnessing an actual wrestling match between two animals. 

Lumi imitated the crowd's cheers intensify as the Wrestling Raccoon retaliated with a series of quick backhand chops at Boss Cat's chest, landing blows on his chonker defenses.

 Lumi couldn't contain her excitement, her voice filled with enthusiasm. 

"The Wrestling Raccoon's speed is amazing! He's delivering a barrage of chops, testing the Boss Cat's chonker frame. Will the Boss Cat be able to withstand this onslaught?"

But the Boss Cat wasn't one to be taken down easily. With a sudden burst of strength, it countered the Wrestling Raccoon's assault, showcasing its own raw power. Lumi's voice carried a mix of awe and exhilaration. 

"What a comeback! The Boss Cat unleashed his signature move, the Pounce of Fury! He jumped on the raccoon and managed to knock him down!"

Boss Cat lunged forward with a thunderous roar, attempting to overpower its opponent with a devastating tackle known as the 'Feline Fury'. The Wrestling Raccoon, nimble and evasive, got back on his feet and dodged the attack with a backflip, countering with a fast 'Paw Strike' that sent the Boss Cat staggering.

"Ladies and gentlemen, did you see that incredible display of agility by the Wrestling Raccoon? It's a testament to the acrobatic skills possessed by these incredible athletes!" Lumi yelled, her voice filled with awe.

The Boss Cat, undeterred by the setback, regained its footing and retaliated with a powerful 'Paw Hug' aiming to immobilize its opponent. But the Wrestling Raccoon twisted and executed a jaw-dropping 'Rolling Reversal' escaping the Boss Cat's clutches with remarkable flexibility.

The battle continued to intensify, with the Boss Cat and the Wrestling Raccoon exchanging a flurry of electrifying maneuvers. The Boss Cat unleashed a mighty 'Roaring Uppercut' while the Wrestling Raccoon retaliated with a precise and swift 'Tail Whip'.

Lumi's commentary echoed through the habitat.

 "The energy in here is electric, folks! This match is a whirlwind of power, finesse, and sheer athleticism! These competitors are leaving it all in the ring!"

 Boss Cat summoned his inner strength, and performed its signature move, the 'Mighty Pounce'. With incredible force, it launched itself towards the Wrestling Raccoon, aiming to secure the victory. But the Wrestling Raccoon maneuvered with grace, executing a spectacular 'Spin Kick' that caught the Boss Cat off guard.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the Wrestling Raccoon has pulled off an unbelievable reversal! This match has taken an unexpected turn!" Lumi yelled, her voice filled with thrill.

 The Wrestling Raccoon capitalized on the opportunity, executing a picture-perfect 'Suplex Slam' that brought the Boss Cat crashing down to the ground. Lumi dropped to her knees and counted the pinfall slapping the ground with her hand and loudly counting down.

"One... Two..."

Before Lumi could count to three, a mysterious figure leaped from the fence. With a sudden elbow slam, the figure ruthlessly interrupted the pinfall, sending shockwaves through the ground.

"Ladies and gentlemen, what is happening here?"

 Lumi yelled, her voice tinged with disbelief.

 "Who is this intruder?"

Lumi's eyes widened with recognition as a glimmer of realization washed over her.

 "It can't be... Is it... wait... It's! It's Corgi The Dogo!"

I glanced at how Dogo stood tall and the Boss Cat with Wrestling Raccoon lay sprawled on the ground, momentarily stunned by the unexpected attack. I looked with my eyes wide open as a new animal joined the wrestling match with a dramatic entrance befitting a wrestling match.
