The transfer student

Chapter 3

"Class, a new student will be joining us today!"

A transfer student? We rarely get those. I wonder if I can make them my friend.

The student walks into the class

"Huh?!" I scream as I can’t believe my eyes. It’s Saika, she's standing in front of me. Once again.

"Hello everyone! I'm Saika Fushiguro, I will be joining you guys today. Thank you for having me." She said sparklingly.

"So, where do you wanna sit?" The teacher asked her.

"Right there!" She said while pointing at the empty seat beside me.

I had so many questions. How did she get into this school?  Then I had a realization. I remember that she was the daughter of a rich family. Of course, she could easily enter any school. But the bigger problem was, She wants to sit right beside me?!!

The teacher agreed and she came towards me.

"You thought I'd give up didn't you?" She said while she had a smirk on her face.

I could feel the cold stares of my classmates right on me.

"You two know each other?" Ayame said from behind.

"How did you get to know such a beautiful girl?! Aren't you single from birth?" She said loudly in front of the class.

"God I wanna die." I thought.

"She's my childhood friend," I said as I turned back to face her.

"Your childhood friend? I never saw you with her before. You were a loner for as long as I can remember!"

"God, can someone shut her up please" Again, I thought.

chuckle

"Huh. Where did that come from?"

"You're so cute!" Saika said while looking at Ayame.

"Do you two know each other?" Saika asked me.

"Yeah. She's been my friend from the start of high school."

"You got company huh?!" Someone angrily said from behind me. As I turned. That someone wasn't someone I didn't know. It was Chako. She was staring at me as angrily as she could. She was standing beside Aoi.

Aoi opened her mouth. And all I could hear were two words.

"Enjoy yourself." as she walked away. She looked unbothered yet angry at the same time. I tried talking to her only to get a cold shoulder. I found out why people call her so cold.

Ayame left too.

"You have such cute friends," Saika said while chuckling.

At lunchtime, I, Ayame, Chako, and Aoi were used to eating lunch together. So what the hell is Saika doing here?! And where are Ayame, Chako, and Aoi?!!.

"Eat alone." Said the three before they all scattered in the school nowhere to be found.

"I don't feel like eating anymore," I said to Saika while I got up.

"Hmm? If you don't eat you'll lose all your muscles." She said,

"Yeah yeah", I brushed it off as I headed to the roof.

I reached the roof only to be left surprised.

Someone was here.

That someone was none other than Aoi. It was the first time I found her here. I always wondered where she went in the free time we had. She was sketching with a wooden pencil and was so focused that she had no idea of her surroundings. She was eating her lunch and I heard her mumble:

"Iharu-kun you idiot!"
