The Love Intrest's Bestfriend

   Kazou gathered his papers and left to go to school. As he was walking he hears a familiar voice.

  "Hey, Kazou!", said the familiar voice.

 Kazou turns around to see a fellow highschooler running towards him. The highschooler was tall and thin, he had black hair. He looked quite similar to Kazou, and they have been mistaken as brothers more times than Kazou could count. 

   "Hey Toyo" said Kazou. 

This was Toyo, Kazou's bestfriend. They had met in middle school. Back then Toyo had no friends, but Kazou being kind started talking to the friendless boy. Over the years they became very close.

   "I'm going to meet Ami to walk with, wanna come?", Toyo asks.

 "Sure, why not", Kazou replies. 

Ami was a girl in their grade. Her and Toyo spend a lot of time together, this made Kazou a little jealous. As the pair got closer to the meeting spot they spotted to girls. 

    "Hey Ami" Toyo yelled optimistically. 

Ami waved back excitedly. Ami was a girl in their grade. She was a bit shorter then Toyo and Kazou. She also had short hair. She is generally well liked.

    When Kazou and Toyo joined the girls Kazou realized he had never seen the girl next to Ami. The girl was shorter than Ami maybe 5'3. She had long black hair, and big eyes. 

"Hello", Kazou said trying to be kind though he has never met this girl. 

"Have we met?", the girl said in an annoyed tone.

"I,  uh, don't think we have?" Kazou replied nervously.

   "This is my bestfriend Suma!" Ami Chimed in, "She ussaully gets to school earlier then us but today her alarm didn't go off. So, I told her to walk with us."

   "I see", Toyo replied.

   After that they all walked to school. Toyo and Ami walked ahead of Kazou and Suma laughing and talking. Kazou tried to speak to Suma but she had a look on her face that told me she was perplexed.

As he was about to say something. She spoke first.

"Sorry if I came off as rude, I'm just really worried about something."

"Oh that's alright, ha, I get worried about stuff all the time. Like the other day I was watching this series and it didn't have a season 2 and I was all like "Is there gonna be a season 2", but apparently there is no season 2 as it was canceled and-", he stops himself mid sentence realizing he was rambling on. 

Then he heard a sentence he didn't expect 

"Wanna go out with me?"
