Chapter 8

I couldn't sleep at all because of the events of the day and due to the fact that he was sleeping next to me. This Hirakumi guy is something else! Oh wait, what's his name? 

"Are you awake?," I said. 

"Y-yeah, can't sleep today," he said. "What's wrong? Are you uncomfortable? I'll sleep on the floor if that's the matter." 

"No, actually........what's your name? Your sister called you 'Sho'. So, is it Shoto by any chance?," I asked. 

"It's not Shoto. It's Shoyo," he said. 

I could tell he was blushing. 

"So, I'll call you 'Sho', then," I told him. 

"What? No! It's Senpai for you! You're a first year. I'm a second year," he said, blushing.

"What's wrong? Can't handle a cute girl calling you 'Sho', Shoyo?," I asked, smirking.

He turned around at that. 

He and me were laying on the opposite sides before, facing the other sides but then he turned. He grabbed my shoulders and turned me around, too! He was mad but blushing hard and me, too. 

"S-sorry," he said. "I just got a bit mad." 

"It's fine. I'll call you Senpai, if that's what you really want," I said and then turned away. 

I was literally smiling so much right now! 

"So, how did you actually get lost?," Senpai asked. 

"Uh..... actually.......we went to get some dinner and they left me alone while I was at the boba shop," I said. 

"No, I mean, what was the occasion of you guys being out for dinner?," he said. 

"Uh...it....it was my...... birthday," I said. 

I could tell his eyes widened at that. 

"W-what? Why didn't you tell me earlier? I was so rude to you!," he said. 

"It's fine," I said, laughing. 

"It's not fine, Taki. It's not fine! I'll get you a gift tomorrow to make up for it," he said. 

I kept on laughing at that. Then, I stopped. I was sleepy.

"Good night, Senpai," I told him.

"Good night, beautiful," he said. 

I don't know if that 'Beautiful' part was real or not. But, my ears don't hear wrong stuff. I thought I'd tell him to say it once again but he was actually asleep.
