First talk

   As Kazou walked home he received a text message from Suma saying-

"Tomorrow 11am my house. Address is ____________."

Kazou was wondering if this a question or an order.

"So is this for the assignment" he replies to her message.

"What else would it be for" she replied. Somehow Kazou could hear her annoyed tone through the phone.

Kazou got home and realized he still doesn't know much about Suma so he decided to call her. As Kazou listened to the phone dial he regretted it.

Surprisingly she answered.

"Hello?", she said said in a monotone voice.

"H-hi", Kazou said nervously.

"Why did you call me?", she asked.

"I just thought we should, like, get to know each other a bit better y'know", Kazou said gaining a little bit of confidence.

"Oh yeah that makes sense", Suma said.

They sat in silence for a second.

"What do you do for fun", Kazou asked curiously.

"Oh I like to paint, draw, and watch TV stuff", Suma says shyly. "What about you?"

"This will probably sound weird but I like to study alot, haha", Kazou said awkwardly. "But I also like to watch TV too".

"Yeah", Suma says. "Yeah", Kazou agrees.

"So what's your favorite food", Suma asks Kazou.

"I really like microwave dinners", Kazou says in a joking tone, though he is serious.

"Microwave dinners?!", Suma asks surprised. "That's a peculiar answer."

"Well you asked", Kazou said laughing. "What's yours?"

"I like chocolate", Suma said cheerfully.

"Milk or dark?!" Kazou quickly asked.

"Hmmm, definitely dark," Suma responds after thinking for a second.

"I prefer dark to", Kazou said.

Kazou and Suma kept talking for another 30 minutes, until Suma asked-

"How do you feel about Ami and Toyo?"

"What do you mean", Kazou asked.

"Well, like do you ship them or not"

"Ship", Kazou asked.

"Like do you support them or not, I mean", Suma said thinking carefully of her words.

"Well I don't know much about Ami, but I think if she makes Toyo happy than I fully support them", Kazou said feeling slightly embarrassed for some reason. "What about you 'Ms. Ugh Gross'"?

"Well, like, I'm happy for Ami, I think, but what if she stops talking to me because she has Toyo now", Suma said with a hint of sadness in her voice.

"Do you think she would really do that" Kazou asks now interested.

"I don't think so", Suma said.

"Well if she stops talking to you I would, you seem interesting" Kazou said, "Anyway-

"Who are you talking to Suma?", a voice said on the phone.

"A friend! Geez Mom!" Suma yells towards her door.

Kazou then hears a noise sounding like a door opening.

"Is it Ami?", the voice said. Kazou assumes this is her mother.

"No, his name is Kazou, mom", Suma said. She seems annoyed but in a playful way almost.

"Him? As in a boy?", her mom said in a joking tone.

"Ugh I have to go Kazou, I'll see you tomorrow" Suma says.

"Yeah, see you tomorrow" Kazou says before Suma hangs up the call.

After Suma ended the call Kazou sits for a second.

" 'You seem interesting', c'mon man" Kazou says outloud regretting the comment.
