"Echoes of Love: A second chance."

[Chapter 23 Start]

"Onee-chan, You're back."

A kid was laying in Chako's room.

"Ayame-san's here too!"

He looked at me.

"Who are you? Why're you standing beside my sister?"

"SISTER?!"  I yelled in my mind as I looked at him with broad eyes.

"Ch-Chako, I didn't know you had a little brother." I stammered as I spoke.

"Oh, it's your first time meeting my little brother? His name is Sakuta. Introduce yourself Sakuta, This is my friend Iharu."

As soon as he heard the word "friend" he dropped the manga he was reading and sprinted towards me. 

He came and stood right in front of me. He was staring intimidatingly, yet because he was so short, I couldn't control my laugh.

"Heh" I giggled unconsciously.

"Oi,What's so funny huh?!"

He reminded me of Chako. I couldn't control it anymore and bursted into laughing hysterically.

He got more angry.

"HEY!!"

I started laughing more and more.

before he could say anything:

"Sakuta, behave." Chako said to Sakuta.

He puffed his mouth with his gaze fixated on me, filled with a menacing intent as if he wanted to end my life.

"Your brother's cute." I said to Chako.

"I know right! He's the best brother I have!" As she hugged Sakuta tightly.

"Onee-chan, You don't have any other brother."

"That too!" as she hugged him even tightly.

we talked about te upcoming events and how will we handle the student council president elections.

Just like that, The bright day turned into a sparkling orange evening.

"Chako! It's time for dinner. Come down, and bring your friends with you!"
