As I was walking back home, I got called by the police officer:

"As the thugs faced the imminent prospect of a murder charge, they confessed a shocking truth," the officer revealed with a grave expression. "Your friend Aoi, whom they had claimed was deceased, is actually alive."

My heart raced at the revelation, a mix of relief and concern flooding through me. The officer continued, explaining the harrowing details. "They divulged that they had subjected her to a brutal beating and confined her within a barrel. However, we have located your friend, and she is currently receiving care at XXX hospital."
