Chapter 5:

Chapter 3.2: Taking A Bite

AntiGod

(Tenshi’s Perspective)

“Look at the mess you boys caused! If only you had listened to what grandpa said and waited, I could’ve been here to help!”, a cute voice shouted across the store.

I looked across the store to meet the source of the voice, only to see some weirdo cosplaying as a sexy nun.

She had beautiful sky blue hair and she was wearing a white and blue habit paired with a white and black veil.

My first conclusion was that she was the shy and fragile type, but that instantly changed when I gazed down to her lower body.

Not only did her habit have a split down her left leg, but she was also wearing some black transparent tights. I didn’t think they were real but she had to be one of those “badass nun” types.

“WHO ARE YOU?”, I shouted.

I was still a bit on guard from the earlier enemy, so I had full intent on attacking.

“Calm down, I’m Finral’s grand-daughter! He sent me to come after you idiots before anything crazy happened but it looks like I’m too late. You idiots have already brought chaos to this poor little plaza”, the cute cosplayer claimed while walking up closer to us.

“Who the hell is Finral?”, I asked.

“The pope dummy.”

“Oh… that crackhead has a grand-daughter? That shits crazy.”

“Yeah. Don't worry, I came to help you and your brother. My name is Rin!”

I chose to believe her and let my guard down.

“For our savior you're pretty late huh?”, I remarked.

“Shut it”, she issued without a second of hesitation.

She climbed over a few large pieces of debris and by this time she was only about 3 feet away from me.

“Sooo.. ummm…” Rin said hesitantly.

It was pretty clear by her demeanor that something was weighing on her mind.

“Sooo.. what exactly are you anyway?”

“What do you think, cosplayer?”, I asked in sarcation.

“Well I was thinking human, but now that I got a good look at you, you look pretty inhuman.. AND I'M NOT A COSPLAYER.. I'll have you know that I am a proud clergy of the Church of Michael!”, she pouted while crossing her arms.

She scanned my entire body from the top and was making her way downwards.

“Anyways I’ll be taking you and your brother with m-”

Glaring at my body she was left speechless by something and forgot to finish her sentence.

“Why the hell do you have a pole sticking out your chest?!?”

I locked my vision downwards to see what she was talking about. I was met with an iron pole lodged into my chest that poked out on both ends. I couldn’t quite remember where it came from though.

“Not gonna lie.. I ain’t even know”, I answered.

“ANYWAYS!! COUGH* COUGH*..”

“..Let's dismiss the irregularities right now! As I was saying earlier, I’m here to deliver you and your broth-”

As she looked around the area, trying to dodge eye contact with my chest she saw Akuma’s half dead body laid out on the floor.

“IS HE DEAD?!?”

‘I thought you said we’re dismissing all the irr-”

“SHUT IT!..”

“..Cough* Cough* We need to get him to a medic right away!... Oh wait, I am the medic.”

As she raised her hand towards Akuma’s direction, her hand started to emit dazzling stars. Then the stars concentrated together in her palm and like magic, they fused into a black one handed short shotgun with a red line running along the sides.

“He seems fine to m- WERE DID YOU GET THAT GU-”

KABLAM!!!

She pulled the trigger and fired at Akuma, but I didn't see a bullet hit him. Instead, it released a blue blast of energy -similar to the earlier monster's black sphere- trailed by dazzling stars and a strong shockwave. I was partly expecting it to blow up too. On contact, the stars engulfed Akuma’s entire body and turned into a green, transparent, dazzling cocoon. Injury by injury the cocoon was rejuvenating his entire body. He looked as fresh as new in no time.

The cosplayer fell to her knee and was sweating quite a bit.

“I panicked and accidently used my Omega Heal”, she whispered.

“Wow.. you're pretty juiced up aren't you?” I asked rhetorically.

She slowly struggled her way to her feet while palming her forehead.

“You okay down there?” I asked.

“Yeah. Just a slight headache.” Was her reply

She finally rose to her feet and continued her earlier claim.

“As I was saying before, I have to bring you and your brother back to grandpa.”

“Ok”, I asked.

She sighed and went on.

“Then I guess I’ll have to use force- wait what?”

“I said ok.”

“Yeah that's the problem. Aren't you gonna refuse? And like, fight me?”

“There's zero point in doing any of that goofy shit you just said. I was trying to eat some food until the whole restaurant exploded, then when I woke up I saw some demon monster that we proceeded to jump ruthlessly… Not to mention that some kinky cosplayer summoned a magical gun and shot stars… I think I’m willing to believe anything that the pope says at this point.”

“Well before we head off i'm gonna have to pull that pole out of you, my ocd is raging out just by looking at it”

“But won’t that hur- Aggghahh!”

She pulled the pole out of my chest with her right hand, leaving no room for remorse or mercy on the pain factor. The pole was drenched in my blood as she tossed it to the floor.

“To prevent the pain I'll knock you out”, she said.

“IT'S TOO LATE FOR THAT!”

There was a gaping hole in my chest so naturally I was screaming out, and to make matters worse the pole tore out chunks of meat when it exited my body. I’m no doctor but I’m pretty sure they are from organs. I clenched my chest with my right hand to try and ease the pain of my throbbing chest. She walked over to me, stepping over the pieces of glass on the floor and brought her face up to mine.

“A kiss isn’t gonna fix it. Actually you might be onto somet-”

“Shut it!”

The same dazzling stars appeared from earlier, this time bouncing around her lips. Then they concentrated together and then she blew a green mist from her mouth directly into my face.

As I inhaled the dust into my nostrils, I felt my consciousness slipping away from me. Then I fell Into a deep slumber.
