[Chapter 28 Start]

Today is the festival day. 

I woke up early and was doing a sprint before going to school for practice. As I was thundering through the park:

"C'mere Haru!"

a girl was playing in the park. She was the same age as me. She had a fluffy dog with her. I think she was calling him Haru.

"Woof woof!"

The barks of the dog echoed all over the park.

The ball she was playing with rolled up to me:

"Ah! Hello! Can you pass me back that ball?"

She reached out to me I threw the ball back at her. It was quite a nice throw if I say so myself.

"Thank you!"

I paid not much attention and continued sprinting. I thought we'd never meet again but- Fate had something else planned for me.

I went back home, took a shower, had breakfast, and headed to school.

I was about to enter the school but then I got pushed:

"Ah! Sorry sorry, I didn't see you there. My bad."

It was the most popular student in our school, Jun- the goliath of the basketball club.

He was always surrounded by girls so It was my first time seeing him from so close.

I went to the student council room because there were no classes today and Chako asked me to be present there.

It was my first time in the student council room.

When I entered, My eyes were left widened in surprise.

She was there. The girl from the morning was present there.

We both let out an "Oh!" as we gaze in surprise.

"Hmm? You both already know each other?" Chako said.

"Hmm? Ah! no, We just met today at the park. Nothing big." I replied as I smiled awkwardly.

"Nothing big huh? Well, meet her. She's the vice president of the student council, Haruno Miki."
