Chapter 1:
Becoming the Principal of Isekai School
Eiji sighed as soon as he left his apartment that morning. His moderate posture body was wrapped in a formal suit, his hand was carrying a handbag, and his short hair was neatly combed down the middle. However, he showed no enthusiasm.
Why did he choose to become a high school teacher? Since graduating from college, the 20-ish young man has been thinking about that question. He doesn't like dealing with many people and is uncomfortable speaking in public. For him, playing games, watching anime, or reading manga is better.
He already knew the answer to that question, though. It's all because he just went with the flow. He never had a dream. Everything goes without a goal. So, when his parents—who are also teachers—suggested this profession, he said yes. At that time, he did not want to overthink about his future.
And here he is now, walking to the local school near his apartment on his first day of teaching.
If only he had thought more about his purpose in life. Maybe he wouldn't feel this empty. Now he is a grown man who has responsibility. He could no longer rely on his parents to make ends meet.
As soon as he turned at an intersection, Eiji's sight caught a red truck speeding at the end of the road. At first, the young man didn't care about it and kept walking.
But after a while, he realized there was something strange about the truck. Its movement is unstable, as if driven by a drunkard.
And suddenly, that vehicle sped towards Eiji. The young man immediately turned to run, but the truck was too close.

"Mr. Sakazaki?"
The female voice woke Eiji up. Slowly, he opened his heavy eyes.
He saw a human figure. It was blurry initially, but it became clear after a few blinks.
"Welcome, Mr. Sakazaki." She is a young woman with red hair tied up in a bun. Her bright pink lips curved into a smile, making Eiji's heartbeat soar. "I hope you are alright."
The young man was speechless seeing that fair-skinned woman. Only his eyes were moving, observing every inch of her body, making sure that she was real.
And one of the things that caught Eiji's attention the most was the assets on her chest. He also wondered if those were real. The size is above average, and the shape is plump. Eiji had never seen anything like those in person.
Not to mention her office dress that is quite tight wraps her slim body, highlighting her fantastic curves. That thing's short skirt also exposes her long and smooth legs.
"Mr. Sakazaki?" The woman looked at Eiji with amber eyes that sparkled like the best quality crystal. "Can you hear me?"
Instead of answering, he pinched his own hand. He wanted to confirm that the angel-like figure was not an illusion.
It hurts.
"Ah, you must be confused." The red-haired woman flashed her warm smile again. "It's okay. Take it slow…. Oh, I haven't introduced myself yet. I'm Sienna Bellucci, your personal assistant here. I will take care of all your needs."
"Personal assistant? What?" Eiji looked around and finally realized he wasn't in a familiar place. He didn't recognize the ivory-colored walls, the carved desk in front of him, the large wooden chair he was sitting on, or the long brown couch on one side of the room. "W-where is this? What the hell is going on!?"
He rose to his feet and walked in various directions with a stutter, looking around in confusion. His last memory is of running away from a speeding truck.
"Please calm down, sir." Sienna remained where she was. "Everything will be fine."
Eiji, about to open the door to the room, suddenly froze again. He heard that the woman's voice cracked.
Sienna turned around and wiped away her tears. "I'm delighted, sir. I've been waiting for you for a long time. Maybe too long."
Eiji's brow furrowed. "What are you talking about?"
"This is a school for the would-be heroes from Earth before they are sent to other worlds. The gods of those worlds conduct their election of leaders in this place. During that very long election, I waited here alone." Sienna walked over to Eiji. "Well, this place isn't exactly a proper school yet. We still have a lot of work to do."
The assistant opened the room's door, revealing a hallway with the same ivory-colored walls.
"There's only one kitchen, bathroom, toilet, and bedroom for me." With the echoing sound of her high heels, Sienna led Eiji to walk down the hallway. Eiji finds several other doors there. "To be honest, life in this place is a bit lonely."
"Wait a minute." Eiji massaged his forehead. "So, the gods chose me to be the principal in this place? What? Did I hear that right?"
"To the gods of those worlds, earthling spirits are the best to be assigned as heroes. As to why they think so, we may never know." The assistant stopped before the door at the end of the hallway. "However, many of the spirits they choose fail. Most are not ready for their new life."
She then opened the door, allowing Eiji to see what was outside: an endless empty land and a bright blue sky.
Sienna walked out through the strong wind keeping her skirt from blowing. With her hair fluttering, she turned around, smiled, and shouted against the wind's sound. "All of these are yours, Mr. Sakazaki. It's up to you how you want to build your school. Everything is in your hands."
Eiji could only stay silent, still processing what happened to him. So, he's stranded in another world like the main characters in isekai anime? And instead of going on an adventure, he was asked to take care of a school for real isekai protagonists?
Seeing Eiji's expression filled with doubt, Sienna widened her smile. "I'm sure you will make a great headmaster, Mr. Sakazaki! Let's do our best!"
