Chapter 5:

Good Morning

RAIN

"M-Mr. Lee," said Aria, her cheeks stained pink.

Tim's eyes shot open. He quickly sat up in bed. He was blushing.

"What are you doing here, Mr. Lee? What happened?," she asked.

"You were at the bar with your ex boyfriend, miss Kingston. You got drunk and I took you home. I was about to leave but you told me to stay. I'm really sorry for sleeping in your bed with you. But you were the one who forced me," he said, blushing.

"Oh......wait. What?!," she said, staring at him. "I-I'm really sorry! I didn't have any bad intentions. I'm very sorry, Mr. Lee!," she said.

"N-no, please don't apologize! You were just drunk, miss Kingston," he said, smiling.

Her head was bowed down in embarrassment as she sat on her bed.

"M-Mr. Lee, did I say something weird while I was drunk?," Aria asked.

"What do you mean?," Tim asked, looking at her.

"I mean, something about my Mom. Did I say something like that?," she asked.

"Yes, you said that you always missed your mother, and you longed for her. You thought I was your Mom and you wanted me to stay because you had never slept with your Mom at all," he answered.

"I-I'm really sorry that you had to hear all of that," she said, looking down.

"N-no, it's not a big deal. Everybody has some ups and downs in life. It's totally fine if there are things that trouble you, miss Kingston. I'm always there if you want to talk to me," he said.

Aria was taken aback with a feeling she was not familiar with.

"You're so nice, Mr. Lee," she said, blushing.

"Well, French men should live up to that title of being good-natured and nice," he said, scratching his neck.

Aria smiled at him. He smiled back. There was just something so beautiful about his smile that she just couldn't resist staring at his face. He blushed when he realized she was staring for too long.

"M-miss Kingston, you're really pretty," he said to her.

She blushed.

"You think so?," she asked.

"Yes, and you should know it," he said.

She smiled. His world lit up when she smiled. He smiled again at her but he didn't remember when was the last time he had smiled with this much happiness and peace.

Aria's phone ringed.

"Hello," she said. "Y-yes, Nora. I'll be there soon. Just give me five minutes," she said.

"Aria, the boss is gonna kill you. Get here fast!," Nora said, through the phone.

"Shoot, Mr. Lee! I have to go to work. I'm really sorry I can't talk to you any longer. Please forgive me," she said.

"No, it's absolutely fine. I know you have to work. Should I drop you at your workplace?," he asked.

"N-no, I'll go by myself. You've been kind enough to me. Thank you," she said.

"I'll take my leave, then. Good morning again, miss Kingston," he said and left.
