The Box and The three friends

"Do I just open the box?" I ask holding the box in my hand. "yep!" Sally says jumping around "I can’t wait to go back home!" Sally screams as she runs around me and Kio I then open the box as it looked like any other normal box. "I finally got an opportunity to have two friends! Does that mean we won’t be friends after I open this box?" I ask looking down at the box that I held in my hands.

"We'll still be friends you just won’t see us for a while." Kio says "A while could be years!" Sally says looking up at me "years..?" I repeat I know I just meant these two a few minutes ago but I don't want them to leave I sigh then open the box to get it over with. Inside the box was a key I hold the key out to Kio and Sally "Damn it!" Kio yells "Where’s the portal?!" Kio smacks the key out of my hand.

"Are you sure your human!?" Kio yells at me "Yes, I'm sure!" I say looking at the ground "Leave." Kio says folding his arms across his chest "but-" I start to talk but get cut off by Kio "I said leave so do so!" Kio yells as I look up at sally she looks sad. I then walk away from them both and go home I run upstairs to my room my parents watch me as I walked in and went upstairs "Sweetheart, how was your day?" My mother yells from down stairs.

I just ignore her and slam my door "I made and lost two friends in a day must be a world record" I say as tears roll down my face I soon fall asleep. In the morning I get up, got dressed, brush my hair and clean my teeth. "I most likely won’t see them again so why am sad?" I ask myself not understanding what was wrong with me? Why is everything happening to me? I sigh as I grab my backpack and skip breakfast then head to school.

Something was stopping me from going to school so many thoughts I put all my stuff down and go on a walk outside "Kio and Sally where are you?" I ask as I Look in the spot where I last saw them. "Kio! I thought you were weirdly cute when I first seen you! And Sally I love your hair but never got to tell you that! But I promise I am human!" I yell as I start crying again I already lost Ray I didn't want to lose to more friends I can’t lose someone else! I need my friends back!

"Why are you sad?" I hear a voice say I look up. "Kio! Sally!" I run to Kio and hug him tightly "I'm sorry I couldn't help!" I say as I stop hugging Kio and hug Sally instead. "No, I am the one that should be saying sorry not you I yelled at you for no reason." Kio says holding his arm. "We heard what you said!" Sally says running around.

"Wait- then why'd you guys let me finish?" I ask confused "We like getting praised! Miss uh- what was your name again?" Sally asks "Zenima is my name." I say realizing I forgot to tell them my name the other day. "Nice name Zen" Kio says putting his hand on my shoulder. "Thanks" I say sitting down on a log. Did this mean we were friends still? I wish I was an expert on this stuff. I cross my arms and look down at the ground. I really need to work on this whole friend thing.

All the sudden the ground starts to shake as it leaves a crack on the floor, but the shaking hasn't stopped not yet then smoke appeared everywhere and we hear a loud thud after that the smoke starts to clear "guys are you okay?" I cough and start looking around "Guys!?" I call out "Kio!? Sally?!" I then look up to see what looks like to be a cave. I then hear coughing and see Sally on the ground "Sally!" I yell I run to her and shake her a little.

"Sally? Are you okay?" I ask she then opens her eyes "Sally!" I feel a tear fall down my face "are you okay?" I ask hugging her "I’m fine. Where’s Kio?" she asks I look around as I the spot Kio running over to me and Sally "He’s coming" I say I then help Sally on to her feet. Kio runs to us hugging us both "You guys okay?" Kio asks "yeah" Me and Sally say at the same time Sally starts to giggle "Jinx!" Sally says,I smile "Guys what’s that though?" I ask pointing to the cave "must've showed up after the earth cracked because it wasn't there before" Kio says "Adventure time!" Sally yells smiling.
